Really cool atmosphere with great staff. The night I went was packed but I was still served quickly.

Great place to sit, grab a bite and drink. The deep dish pizza is fantastic and the service is great!

Air conditioning wasnt working. It was hotter inside than it was outside. I understand its summer, and its slow now. But that wasnt right. Lost a $200 tab between all of us today.

I thought this place was going to suck ass but it turned out to be great. Beers came quickly, the food was great and the servers with quick witted and friendly. My server, Casey, was on point and the bartenders were very cool as well (didn't get their names).

I think the pizza is must try!! I never eat a pizza like this!!it is really good and not too expensive for the size that you get!!! it is not something you want to eat in the summer because it is very heavy !!!but I like it !!the service is not super good because they made a mistake with our order and we had to wait an hour for our pizza!!be patient because to cook that pizza is going to take them 20 minutes!!!!

My fav place for tasty bar food. The bill was well within reason for the quality. Food is like a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

It's a bar on University. Exactly what you'd expect.

Expensive yet pretentious. Probably worth it but I like cheaper fare.

The pizza is awesome ! Definetly one of the best in tucson !! The veggie firkin with some added chicken is to die for ! Best combination for sure :))) The parmesan tots are also very good! For drinks...ask for a regular Margarita :)

Do NOT go here. Management is a joke, I went to this location yesterday and sat by the table closest to the door and surprise, I got slammed on the back of my head by the door that was opened by one of the staff members and walked away. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and did not say anything, just moved the chair to the opposite side of the table. The manager(Jonathan) then comes to me and tells me he "needed me to move", I explained what had happened and instead of apologizing for the situation he began yelling at me as if he was trying to get into a physical altercation and closed out my tab. Me and my friends immediately went next door (which has MUCH better service).

I still do not understand why people even show up to their job if they are so miserable at what they do. Yes, we are your customers and without us you wouldn't have a job, so why not let people that actually enjoy what they do take over? Definitely looking to escalate the situation to the owner.

Great food, atmosphere, and above all an amazing beer selection.

Manager has a horrible temper and should not have a job that has him deal with the public.

I know this caters to a college crowd, but this place was awesome. Pizza was delicious, the crust is soooooo good. Will be back here next time I visit Tucson.

Go to GentleBens if you're looking for a good time, the waitstaff over there is happy to work there and very kind. Abigail was my waitress (that was the name on the bill, she never formally introduced herself) and when it came time to pay the tab I felt unwelcome and ignored. My first encounter with her was when she approached the table with menus and the first thing that she said was "What would you like to drink?". Me and my friend received our drinks and she disappeared into the back, and I say disappeared because I had to get up and peak my head into kitchen to let her know that we were ready to place a food order. She came and took the order and we did not see her until she brought out our food. We did not see her the entire time we were eating, which was unfortunate because my roast beef dip sandwich was cold in the center and it would have been nice to have it heated up. The sandwich had more bread than meat and I would not recommend ordering it. I had to ask another waitress to go grab Abigail to bring our check because she was no where to be seen. Shortly after Abigail appeared with check, set it on the table and disappeared into the kitchen WITH OUT saying a single word. Me and my buddy waited patiently by for 10 minutes before he grew impatient and took the bill up to the bar so we could leave. This happened on Christmas Eve 2019 and I am astonished at the poor attitude displayed by this member of the waitstaff. I will not be going back to spend the remaining balance on the gift card that was given to me. The bartended who brought the check back to the table wasn't much nicer either. I hope Abigail's attitude doesn't go unaddressed by the management team. Go to GentleBens if you're looking for a good time, the waitstaff over there is happy to work there and very kind.

Family came in from Dallas and wanted to take him some place not offered in Dallas, great food and drinks!

Our bartender Larkin (sorry if misspelled) was super helpful. Made us hot drinks because it was cold and went out of his way to cater to us. Food is great as well!

This is the greatest place on earth. Love the family but the best part is that the food is delicious. I wouldn t consider anything else but frog & firkin. They also have a great food truck service. Love you guys.

The expansion of this restaurant pushed its rating from 4 to 5 stars as the only negative about this place was the wait time. Great selection of draft and bottle beers, the appatizers are amazing and they have a numerous sandwiches. Brie bites with a Hen House and a Samuel Smith's Outmeal Stout is my go-to meal.

Great place! Make sure you try the burger with chorizo on it! It's amazing!

Food and drinks took forever (1+ hours). I get my food and it didn't have any of the toppings I paid extra for, so 15 minutes later the waitress brings the toppings over. My burger was already cold. Upon eating the burger I notice that the burger was made with frozen beef. It was flavourless and crumbly. If I wanted to eat frozen food I would've eaten at home. Unbelievable. Service was slow too.

The salad (green envy I believe) I had was amazing! Didn't even need dressing with it. Seemed a little crowded but service was great!

Timeless place. Great service. Excellent food. Total Pac-12 atmosphere. Always a Tucson go to. My server even made coffee 4 me. Semper Fi girlfriend!

Had the best burger of my life here and the view is incredible!

I ve only been here twice or so many times but in each occasion I ve had superb meals! A wide variety menu plus sweet, professional and kind waiter/ waitresses makes this place a return to restaurant!

Took almost a hour for slice of pizza, then it's look like a brick, plus cost me like $6.00... I will not be coming back for lunch here again.

Frog & Firkin is a staple of the University of Arizona life. The fact that this establishment has outlasted many others over the years speaks for itself. The food and beverages are legit, but the atmosphere is what makes this place special. If you don't have a ticket to one of the Wildcat sporting events, this is the next best place to be.

Great beer selection. Good food. Salads are huge and burgers decent. Its always busy but the staff do their best. We came on a live performance day. Volume was stupid loud.

Ask for the green skins...they were from the old menu but they still can make them

A bit expensive for what it is, but the french fries taste amazing. Inside and outside seating, misters outside when it's hot. TVs playing sports.

They have the worst service I walked into the resturant and I was standing near the door way and one of the waiter that never sat us down or gave us service pushed me from behind and said "excuse me" with some attitude. My friends and I left after waiting 15 mins on a rainy day, where it wans't even that busy.

For the price, the food is mediocre and service is about average. Would not recommend when all the college students are in town, becomes too crowded and loud. 3/5 I missed the bro tank memo

Typical college town pub/bar. The food is alright but I have been in a couple of times now where I'm ignored before being served.

Outstanding fish and chips. Cool spot to hang after second Phizer.
