I have hike the trails at Fairfield for many years. The new president is destroying the our trails. They are going in and removing the rocks and roots that makes hiking, hiking. I guess the next step will be to pave them. Part of hiking is learning to lift your feet. The rocks and roots help with balance and building core strength. But the new president thinks they should all be smooth so you don't trip.
I recently discovered the trails maintained by an amazing organization. The trails are incredibly well-maintained and offer breathtaking views. It's a great way to connect with nature and get some exercise. Highly recommended!
