Friendship Village of Dayton has wonderful accommodations, excellent staff for independent living, assisted living, rehab, nursing care and administration!!! The food is delicious and cooked with consideration for dietary needs and restrictions. Friendship Village promotes a positive living environment and allows seniors to age at their leisure.

They are very poor at returning any inquiries as to the care of there residents to family members. My mother had to be removed from her apartment twice during her time there due to bedbugs. Placed in a respite room with no allowance for the difference in cost, promised adjustments never made.
Most recently she was moved from her apartment to a respite room due to the tornado. Although her room could not be occupied we were still changed. Attached photos of the conditions at her room. There dishonesties on so many levels is almost unbearable. They want your money but have little regard for residents.

Horrible company! They paid me the wrong rate. I took my CNA classes here and I ended up not being able to even take my state tests due to the fact the state informed me they were not authorized to do so. So I literally took classes for no reason. The DON (at the time) Tonya B. kept asking me to schedule my state test when she knew I wouldn t be able to do so. They were extremely short staffed and at times had no aides on a hall because they did not schedule anyone to come in. People were so overworked they would not want to help out! This is by far the WORST place to work at. Management is HORRIBLE! I called the BBB and filed a complaint with the state. And only when I left the HR lady a message advising her that I was doing so, that she actually returned my call. and this was still MONTHS later.

Awful.!. Just awful time in my life. This place is disgusting and while I was there for 2 weeks, I was served under cooked chicken twice, and watered down lemonade every day, at every meal. Upon release, the medication I was taking and that my insurance paid for was kept. They decided at last minute to keep the pain medicine which forced me to go to the emergency room later the same day of release. The state of Ohio is involved and investigating this. Did the nurse pocket my medicine? Therapy was a joke and I would have been better off at home to begin with. The food was really awful and one aide felt so bad that she made a food run to "McDonald's".

I ve been an employee here since July of 2020 and all I can say is wow!!! Everyone is very welcoming and inviting. Management is great and makes this a wonderful place to work. All of the staff go out of their way to help the residents or another staff member who is in need. I cannot be more thankful working for such a great place!

From independent living (cottages and apartments) to skilled nursing care, Friendship Village can meet the needs of all of their residents right at home. A wonderful place to call home! Glad to be a part of this incredible community and to have the privilege of working with the people who live and work there!

My grandpa was in rehab after having very high ammonia levels. We understood that his liver was probably failing, but he began making a recovery. He was feeling lethargic and we thought his ammonia may be getting too high. They did not sit him up high enough when he threw up, and he aspirated. They wouldn t call 911 unless he threw up three times. I don t trust them.
