You can really find a lot of high quality ingredients
Food from everywhere! So much cheese. Mulled wine while walking around is a great experience
A busy and vibrant market that is well worth a visit if you are in London. Plenty of food to choose from and sample/buy
The best market in town, you can find fresh bread, oysters, truffles, typical food from all over the world.
Good food and nice atmosphere and reasonable price.
Crowded at weekend
Such a cool place to wander around. Whilst the market is mostly food there are also a few stalls selling other things. Heaps of food and sweets to choose from from many different cultures so if you're visiting London on a Thursday I would say it's worth while checking it out!
Great hustle and bustle. Good variety of meats, produce, ready to eat, and more
Loved our wander through and a mulled wine with a dash of lambs rum! Yum
Love the place but on this occasion we turned up late when the market was wound down, will return.
Great range of foods, nice atmosphere but a little bit pricey at most stalls.
Much quieter than previous visit,no real atmosphere due to that I guess.
I adore Borough Market. I love choosing what to have for lunch, there is always something I haven't tried before. Everyone in your group can have something different. Also great for picking up a sweet treat to take home on the train from London Bridge or buying ingredients for me or as gifts.
If you want to get knee deep in foodie culture in a beautiful market head here.
Some of the best coffee at Monmouth (the queue is pretty quick). So much amazing food from wraps, donuts, meat, cheese, olive oil, craft beer.
Many places take card but there are cash points right outside.
The food market is not open on Sunday and closes each evening.
Street food is good, try the salt beef sandwiches and the mix cheeses sandwiches.
I love Borough Market for treat gourmet food. It's pricey but fab food. It looks and smells amazing too. Really helpful stallholders. It's an experience even if you only spend a fiver. I've only given five stars cos it's pricey.
Lovely experience. Busy hustling market with fresh food. Lovely bars too!
One of my favourite places in the world - go early and enjoy (if you're there as a tourist please be considerate to vendors and shoppers, ask before you take photos and allow people who are actually making purchases to go about their business).
Absolutely charming place to visit with loads of places to eat offering various cuisine of different countries.
A tourist delight.
Delicious! Market place converted to food stalls, even keeping a large number of fresh produce stalls. It's noisy, as you would expect from a market. I would recommend going early lunch time, before the crowds as that when dishes start to disappear. Service is great, the people running the stalls are clearly very passionate about their produce.
FRAUD ALERT!!!!!!
This jerk & his crew of similar looking people hang out around Borough Market using the "cup trick scam" to collect money from tourists. DO NOT FALL FOR IT! He stole 90 pounds from my impressionable mother.
Hope the cops get him soon
Hustle and bustle at it best. Fantastic atmosphere and great produce.
Incredibly busy market. Lots of food (I recommend the Mussels and Paella). Alas, few places to sit, except nearby pubs and bars, but be prepared to wait.
Love , love , love Borough Market. Vibrant place with a good buzz about the place.
Nanny Fanny's Salt beef , pickle , mustard sandwich is insanely good !!
Found a cheeky little bar under a archway
The scallops are to die for! The fresh produce are yummy. Loved the fresh strawberry
Nice market with a good selection of stall. Definitely worth a visit.
It's a really cool place but finding something reasonably priced to eat is like finding a needle in a haystack. Still, if you're in the area I'd grab a bite to eat just to see the amazing wild mushroom store and the craft beer shop
Food market below the bridge. A little grungy but the food looked awesome. Closes early so get there before 5 pm.
Always good to be back for a bite or to see the new things there.
Awesome vibe. Nice international foods selection. Watch out for the pickpockets though...
Great place! Wonderful street food! But be careful of pocket pickers!!
The food from the Japanese stand was especially delicious
Such a vibrant place, The Ginger Pig is a must, but fabulous produce that entices you to more food discoveries.
I pretty much enjoyed the vibe in Borough Market. Especially, the oyster was my favourite.
Great to walk around and view the amazing foods and soak up the atmosphere. Personally I feel the prices are on the high side. Avoid lunchtimes, it's very crowded and nowhere to sit to enjoy the food.
A goldmine of individual artisan produce, highly recommend as a must visit.
You want a non-supermarket food buying experience? An experience involving a chat with those who created the food? You want to chat with other shoppers? Borough Market does all of this, but it costs. Somehow you value that cost more than by pounds alone (that's pounds weight too because most of what's on offer is fattening!). I, personally, profit from that experience, not financially, but emotionally.
Great place to enjoy a nice mix of foods, drinks, artisans, arts, market produces, etc. It can be packed at some point, but the stands are usually pretty fast to serve. I had a burger that was different from anything else I have tried and I loved it. The price was reasonable in my opinion (8 GBP). You can try a bunch of different beers from the many stores/stands. The Market is pretty close to the Shard, so you have a nice view while eating. Or you can just take what you need and enjoy the side of the Thames river while enjoying your meal.
Great place to visit, at least I enjoyed.
My favourite Market in London! You can try everything and Explore so much different food! But avoid Going There during the Weekend, its to crowed then!
Everything of a high end consumable nature you could ever imagine a market to be except cheap.
The most eclectic range of produce you could possibly imagine. All 'four corners of the earth' are more than adequately represented.
There is very little of a regular everyday nature - almost everything is artisan.
Prices are sky high, and tourists cram every corner, as do pickpockets, so be on your guard.
Fantastically busy most of the time but especially at the weekends.
Great place food is delicious !!! You can find here almost everything
Located at London Bridge Underground station. Would really recommend you to pay a visit. Enjoy local treats, cheese, wine, seafood, and much much more. Very affordable and interesting market.
Good place for food and the staff are also really great and for food quality.
This is a large area under the bridges. Several small shops, offering a large amount of different foods, hand made items and drinks. Not really tourist stuff, more just local goods and fairs. We had some Vegetable Lo Mein and it was outstanding. At the time we were there, there was a lot of people. Might not be for the claustrophobic. But there were some areas that gave you room to get a breath or eat.
My first time there it was crazy busy even though it was raining, you have to be in the right frame of mind for a visit there, but saying that it was amazing the food stalls were the out of this world. Sweet or savory it s got it all. Defo worth a visit wear sensible shoes and prepared to fight your way through the crowds.
I m lucky to live a fifteen-minute walk from Borough Market. This artisan food market sells street food which you can eat there. You can sample salt beef bagels and sandwiches, paella, falafel wraps, pies, fish and chips, empanadas, wild mushroom risotto, scotch eggs, salt and pepper chilli squid, hot waffles and more. A few of my favourites include the toasted cheese sandwich from Kappacasein, halloumi wraps at Gourmet Goat and chips from Fish! Or buy bread, olives, veggies, cheese, etc to take. This food market is a must if you are visiting London.
This is a MUST on your list if you are a tourist like me. Great place to go if you like varieties of delicious food! Strong British vibe! Love it.
One of the best markets for London - for FOOD!! During the week it's buzzing during lunchtime. A mixture of office workers having lunch and the tourists coming to see the range of food products on sale. Definitely worth visiting when in London.
Casual place for street food. The pulled pork is extremely good and very reasonably priced. The mussles are very good too.
Only set back is that most of the time you have to stand to eat. It is also open air for most stalls so the weather place a large part of your enjoyment
Couldn't get enough. Shared 3 different meals with family and then all the samples of deliciousness. I hope to come back soon.
Bubbly market place with great selection of street food. Take a wander through all the sections before making your choice.
Great variety in each tent, not the same throughout the entire place.
Personally, nothing has to be bought, because it's all uncovered and the flies plane on the food.
Delightful place for foodies! Fresh produce, meats, and seafood. Loads of shops for artisan cheese, salts and oils as well.
I didnt have enough room in my stomach to keep eating but I would have love to eat another egg from Scotchtails!
If you are a foodie, you cannot miss this amazing market. You have plenty of options although it might be a little bit pricier than usual (because of tourists) but it s worth it (at least for me). It s for sure going to be extremely crowded during the weekends when s it s open (without a doubt). So if it s your first time there and you want to take your sweet time exploring, make sure you leave at least 2 hours for this place. You will be queuing up and waiting and walking very slowly due to the crowd. My favorites are the fish and chips (it s my personal fav in London!), the mulled wines during winter, and the mushroom risotto! Don t fill yourself on the first few stalls!
Great eateries and stalls, and an excellent variety of tasty food to try.
Great place. Interesting food, spices, teas,. Really enjoyed it.
One of my favorite spots in London. You can easily spend a few hours checking out all the vendors in the market or grabbing some food and drinks at some of the brick and mortar shops along the perimeter.
Best market in London! Great variety and wonderful food choices.
Amazing market for food, drink, everything is fresh with very good quality and nice place for leisure time and try delicious meals.
Food stalls so good wonderful smells good crowds of people.
Very good market. I love the cheese stands, and the fresh olives. Four stars only because some of its stands are expensive, but definetely a must if you are in the area. Good seafood as well.
This place attracts so many tourists because it is a tourist attraction. So many food stalls, a good place to come for your hungry belly.
Great place to eat food from different corner of the world.
Nice market with a decent selection of food. They accept contactless payment too.
Would love the Eritrean food to make a return but there are more than enough options to make up for it.
Great food and drinks in an amazing enviroment. Good place to have breakfast or lunch, to relax and enjoy the vibe or even do some groceries.
Great selection of food and drinks stalls. Definitely a place to visit in London.
One of the best food markets in London. Love the fresh and cooked food, drinks, sweets and selected groceries here. It s like indoor market so you don t have to worry about weather conditions, also easy to go by underground or buses. I recommend Apple Bee s fish wraps, Scottish eggs, tender chicken breast wraps near the entrance of Green market, and Fish! Kitchen
Great experience. A must see and visit of London. Borough market has so many international food and specialties. Delicious with a fair prices.
Oldest fruit and veg market in London. Tons of eateries, pubs and stall to check out.
Great food and beers in a nice environment, until Mark Beazeley turns up
If you're in London for food or just a change of scenery then Borough Market is an Excellent place to visit. There is tons of choice of fresh/cooked foods as well as coffee. Highly recommended for people in the area!
This is the best farmers market that I have ever seen
Lovely place with a huge variety of food available. Great place to get your lunch for either right away or to take with you for later on, We bought a Rose veal pitta, salt beef sandwich and a duck wrap, all were super tasty. We ate ours on a boat tour along the Thames. Neals Yard Dairy is a must for all the cheese lovers! Well worth a visit but go hungry!!
This is a foodies paradise. Great quality produce everywhere you look. Amazing choice of lunch options as well.
Great food choices, check the schedule when they have special chef appearances for a demo tasting.
Great quality of food, a bit expensive but you can find great selection of products.
Although is a very touristic place and crowded, it is worthy the visit and eating there!
Fabulous! You can spend hours here and still find a new stall or eatery you hadn't noticed before. Definitely worth a visit, love it!
Good, cute market selling lots of foods and drinks. My only down point would be that it seems to upper class for a market.
