Very nice lively place to visit also enjoy street food
I love coming here and just walking around and drowning my eyes with the wide array of food. Being a tourist spot, prices here are expensive. It's not ideal to shop here for your usual grocer needs but it's nice to visit once in a while to enjoy the food.
Amazing street food. Amazing crowd from any nationalities. We can find almost any kind of top quality food & beverages here. Must see if one happen to be in London
It would have been better but it's closed on a Sunday
Absolutely fantastic! So many food stalls and stores offering tastings.
Loved it here. The smells of the food, the huzzle and bussle. Great choices of top quality food
Lots of stuff from fruit and vegetables and fresh fish and meats. Never seen before wild animals meats.
In need of refreshment? Borough market has it all. A huge range of food and drink ready prepared and ready to go. Veggie options or meat, there's something for all tastes here. Seating areas available if you want to relax and watch the tourists go by. The smell of the different foods can be intoxicating.
I deliver there everyday, but was very congested with traffic and not socially distance people, please be aware we are not cured!!!
A must go-to when you visit London. FOOD! The prices are mostly reasonable and you get a bit of everything. You can keep coming back and find something new each time.
Great variety of food outlets and delicacies. A real foodies place to visit. All reasonable prices charged. The biggest difficulty is choosing where to eat from as there is soooooo much choice!
Love this place. If you love good food then get yourself down there and prepare to spend a fortune. Highlights are Bread Ahead for the doughnuts and Konditor and Cook for the hot chocolate.
Great place to have a couple of drinks or meals at an affordable price
Fresh food, farmers market, nice atmosphere, you can find veggies, fruits, cheese, meat, bread and all sort of fresh food. On the other side of the market you've stalls for lunch with all sorts of ready to eat food. Great place for foodies!!
I miss my Saturday's shopping here. Great stalls and excellent produce. The vibe is always fun here. A great place to bring your visitors to if they are visiting London.
What type of food you like? It is there! Although the place is a little overcrowded
Awesome as always. Very empty due to Covid.
Some old stalls were not there anymore. Some new stalls opened.
It wasn't busy at all.
A must stop when visiting London.
Very good market. A lot of fresh juices, fresh vegetables, sea food and much more!
I love the food stalls here, spoilt for choice and very trendy place to visit.
Plenty of choice regarding food and drink with lots of atmosphere
Take some acid and have a walk around it's like the Van Gogh Museum for free. Alternatively, for the more sophisticated, go to Elliots and Bao. Fantastic!
Very crowded but has a large variety of foods to look at ranging from truffle to cheese. Worth visiting when in London but watch out for thieves as it is crowded and people are in close proximity to one another. I have heard many stories of people being pickpocketed so keep belongings close.
Plenty of Lovely fresh food, friendly stall keeper's.
This is the best food market in the city. Always a wonderful visit.
Wonderful atmosphere, lots of interesting food and craft stalls. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic market, highly recommended, such a great selection of food which is so fresh, traders are very friendly and will explain what they do to produce such great food, plenty of places to eat, you won't be disappointed.
A real good spot for meeting your mates in Tier 2 restrictions. There's an excellent array of hot food stalls and you can't eat on site but the river is a short walk away with a decent spot to eat by the Thames, just make sure you bring a scarf!
Love the new Borough Market Kitchen area. Great addition to the market. Especially liked Mei Mei, truly authentic Singaporean food and drinks. Great value and taste.
What is not to love.
You will need more than a few minutes for this place
A must visit when in London. Food opportunities are many. Walking about is an experience to be had. Lots of dessert and cheese options. Details offered visitors include water bottle refill stations. A really nice provision. Easy underground connections are available.
Amazing and vibrant market. So many different options, delicious and organic food, cosy coffee shops with delicious coffee. Produce is so fresh, you will never find anything of this quality in a supermarket.
I absolutely loved it here! What an experience! So many different smells. The stalls were so varied and interesting and everything was so fresh and enticing. Lots of food stalls from around the world and lots of fresh ingredients to make your own culinary masterpieces!
Love this place with all kinds of tasty food to try. Atmosphere is bustling with friendly food vendors makes it a wonderful experience.
Fantastic range of food stalls, including cheeses from the continent, breads, charcuterie and street food. Brilliant atmosphere, great location.
Yuppie market, lots of esoteric sausages, salami and cheese, wine and beer. A few vegetable stalls left. Great space under the railway arches. The South Bank - a London gem.
A typical farmers market. Lots of samples to try. A variety of food. If you are a type of person who likes Street markets, you will enjoy your time here. You can get from cheese/hot food/raw oysters/coffee/beer/wine etc. Name it and you will find it here. There s a famous coffee place named Monmouth coffee in this market area but I didn t like their coffee.. it was overrated in my opinion for the coffee that tasted normal. The coffee shop had a long line too. I would avoid lines and try other places!
It's Borough Market ridiculously over priced but that's what you have to deal with if you want to be eating snacks in Borough Market. 9
A wide variety of dishes, oysters and seafood stews are delicious.
Defibitely worth a visit. Huge selection of fresh fruits, veggies, cheese, nuts, meat and seafood. You can also grab some street food.
All you need in 1 place, also a beautiful area to chill in
Absolutely unbelievable. Great street food and other goodies that just have to be seen and tasted. Many booths use contactless payments.
One of my favorite places in the world. Explore tons of food stalls and shops. Don't miss the Brindisa chorizo sandwich.
Such a cool place full of cultural foods and trinkets. Definitely a place to go to experience what it's like to be in a city so old and history-filled that they built up a market in such a place. Nice!
Lovely stroll down this market. Taste and buy local and international products
A great first time trip. Fabulous for all sorts of food stuff from cheese to spices . . Was surprised at the vegan variety.
Amazing place for food lovers, you can get variety of different food like Indian , Chinese, Thai , Italian Japanese, Sri Lankan Italian . you name the type of food you will find bit here.
Lots of space for seating, best thing is you can buy different foods from all stalls and and have it. Just make sure you get place to seat if your planning on weekends.
Just love this place
Love this place so artisan a proper market, I would use it all the time if Iived down there. Miles better than supermarket
Borough market offers one of the best food in London, ranging from seafood, cheese, desserts to Asian food, and so on. My personal favorites are the place where they serve fresh seafood like sea urchin, oyster and the place next to it where they serve the mussels with cream and green Thai curry. The seafood is a little expensive, but fresh and tasty. You can have the oyster as starter . The stall next to it not only offers delicious food, but the food is super duper cheap and comes in huge portion as well. My favorite dessert is donuts from the Bread Ahead Bakery.
There is another food that I have always wanted to try is the duck confit burger by Le Marche du Quartier at the market, but I came on Monday which is the day they are closed.
This is one of the top things I recommend people to do while visiting London. It's a great way to get a lot of yummy foods. We had amazing British pies, pad Thai, cheese toasties, and even cakes while wandering around this open air market. I will always make a stop here when visiting London!
Best place in London to buy cheese although a little pricey
One of the nicest food markets in London. Dont skip the oysters! Walking distance from the Tate Modern museum!
One of the Jewels of London. Best way to experience it is getting off at Westminster, crossing to the south bank and walking up. Its a long walk, but then you get the best of London
Nice place to look around and grab a coffee while going for a walk.
If you're in London why haven't you visited here yet? One of the best places to visit for food, sights, smells and atmosphere.
Busy busy place with amazing food stalls. Sadly no patisserie, but the Singapore laksa made up for it.
Love it here.. A little touristy on the weekends but weekdays it's so worth it to collect some fresh unique condiments, meats and steeet food.
Borough Market is definitely a great place to visit.
Lots of little stalls to get food from and just have a browse
Love borough market but not the same since lockdown
Multi-national food market everything you could want. Food of all types and all origins, a rich and varied selection of multi cultural products.
Lovely place for lots of food. Take a walk and look around this place. U will find amazing things. Stores stuff are welcoming for the people. Take good care of ur stomach and enjoy it.
Tried the donught from Bread ahead with the honey comb butter; such good taste!
And also had shawerma at one of the stalls; yumm! 5/5 but be careful; it's so juicy and I ended up staining my clothes oh and they laso sell falahel; good thing is that there is a place to wash your hands; so that helped a lot!
Borough market, a must visit. From fresh produce to freshly cooked meals to freshly shucked oysters, cheese, marinated meats and olive oils.
Do try the fish & chips from fish! Or the oysters at a pound each from Richard Haward s oyster shop. And the many sweet treats like the doughnuts from Bread Ahead Doughnuts, brownies and delicious cookies. Samples are sometimes available to aid in your decision making ;)
Large outdoor though covered market in central London. They have breads, meats, olive oil, and tons of food stands among other things. My favorite item in the market is the Malaysian curry pictured with this review.
You can watch stuff being made, try stuff and buy loads of tasty things to take home with you. Or you can eat it there, with variety the market holds you'll be spoilt for choice.
I visited the Borough Market every day for 2 months while I lived in London Bridge. I absolutely loved it. It can be incredibly busy on the weekend, so watch out for that- but it s a great vibe. If you re looking to just appreciated the markets, 11am most weekdays is pretty empty and a great time to go!
This market is very touristy as you would expect but still interesting. There is an amazing array of high quality produce and many other food products including food cooked and served. We enjoyed an excellent seafood paella while there. (If it's busy, you will probably have to eat standing up.) Of course the prices are totally insane so you wouldn't want to do your regular grocery shopping there. But OK to indulge in one or two special treat items, right?
Delicious food sweets and drinks from every side of the world. The prices are good in general. Not cheap not expensive. I would definitely go there again. It's a very good place to go and buy food and taste some fine cheese and smoked meat, olives pies etc . There are some areas where you can sit and eat.
Always best to come during lunch time. A variety of options in terms of cuisine and delightful things to eat
One can literally taste the world if they visit Borough market. It was busy and vibrant through out the day. The shops in the market had lots to offer even for vegetarians like me. If you're in London, just give it a try and thank me later :)
Unfortunately its closed on Sundays but normally amazing
One of the best and busiest markets in London.
All delicious... variety of choices... coffee...cakes...meat...fruits... vegan...organic...
Amazing!
Great place to eat both on weekends and weekday lunches.
So many food products here, it's great. You can try many things to see if you like them. Spices, salamis, veggies, fruit juices... They got it all. A must for any foodie and anyone who likes good food.
Perfect market. Delicious food, friendly people. Suitable for vegetarians, vegans also gluten free dishes can be served.
It's so clean and it doesn't wreak the smell of raw catch! Maybe it's just me coz pretty much all markets in South East Asia smells really fishy and raw. There are a lot of good food selections! There are bread stalls, cheese, olive oil, pastries and much more, aside from food and produce!
Amazing food market to visit in London. Full of life and great selection of food stalls.
Lovely market, lots of veggies, fruit, cheese, meat, friendly people
The best market in London. Amazing variety of food and products. Nice for locals and tourists.
Absolutely a must if you're visiting London, awesome food from all over the world, this is an experience in its own right.
Watch food being prepared fresh in front of you and choose from simple fare to the super exotic, fresh juices squeezed for you to have along with your choice of lunch also.
Fish, duck, wild boar, pulled gammon ( I recommend the New York deli style bagels loaded with pickles sauerkraut pulled Gammon and Mustard!) Also the duck wraps are soooo fresh and tasty
Make sure that you are hungry when you turn up though, there is so much to eat and you can sample lot of the food also so don't visit after walking out of a restaurant!!.
Just the smells and noise, wander around with your friends and watch all manner of dishes being cooked hog roast, carribean food, Indian (some of the techniques on display are a fascination in their own right, some of these guys are geniuses!!), Thai, and on and on. Check out the cheese stands, there are plenty and some of the sizes of these are like nothing you will have seen, live lobsters in a tank and the freshest fish going. If burger and chips is your preference they have this also...pure London experience, enjoy!!
This was OK, but I caught it at the end of the shopping day when I was quite worn out from walking around London. You can get there by tube also if you wish and there are a lot of pubs around to whet your whistle before and after. There is a wide selection of foods here but quite pricey I thought. I wasn't tempted to buy due to this but don't let that put you off. Some good cheeses and meats, wines, juices, seafood, pasties and a few other specialities worth viewing if you want something special for a dinner party. If you've never been you must go. I will go again one day and treat myself to something nice.
