I purchased a used Honda Pilot from Freeway Ford 3 weeks ago. I was initially put off as the vehicle was grossly misrepresented on the online ad, lacking numerous features (heated seats, 3 zone climate control, moon/sun roof, power liftgate, among others) the ad stated it had. Though these very features initially piqued my interest in this particular vehicle, the salesperson dismissed me, citing she'd mention it to the internet sales manager. In typical salesperson fashion, she attempted to create a sense of urgency in me by telling me the vehicle had only been listed less than a week, and there was a lot of interest in it. That felt extremely condescending as I had clearly done my research, having already read the Carfax report and I could see it had been listed for a month. I was allowed to take the vehicle to my own mechanic to have it checked out, and based on his assessment of the vehicle, I purchased it. It is a nice vehicle, and I like how it drives & handles. I am confident I purchased a quality vehicle at a fair price, but I have no sense of loyalty towards Freeway Ford or the salesperson I worked with. Freeway Ford acted as any good politician would, looking out more for their interest (closing the deal on the sale) than mine (satisfied customer). I will not be back, nor will I recommend.
