Update: My order arrived. The box of gloves had been tampered with and could not be presumed to be sanitary, due to the seal being broken. It is disappointing after everything stated below to have been shipped a damaged product.
They aren't supposed to ever sell to the public as a professional beauty supply. In Oct 2019 & started ordering often from Freeman, I stated I began shopping there in 2007. They thanked me for my business by loosing the first order of $500+ for over a week (and not mentioning to me the package options for a skincare bacckbar + comped classes for training) when this is what I specifically stated I was looking for when I called and made the initial order.
I had to escalate my concerns to the owner of the skin care line and make my own contact in order to be able to get classes I should have just been eligible for for my purchase. We almost had to cancel our first appointment because ig took so long to track down the package. The following 2 times I ordered I had to be extra tentative to make sure that nothing got lost. This was quite a time absorber especially for the first weeks of my business being open & having many responsibilities.
There have that multiple other instances where there have been issues with orders being lost or delayed. Including recently I submitted the order for $150 + for retail for a great long time client. I called and asked them to add some brochures into a box after ordering online. They stated that this would not be an issue. The following day I got a phone call from someone at their warehouse saying that my order has been delayed and that they were called late at night stating that there was an issue with my order. The person was wondering what my issue with the order was and told me that they wouldn't be able to potentially even send the order any more considering everything going on with covid-19 and all of the mandates through the government. I stated that's why I called immediately after I place the order online to make sure everything was okay and to make sure they sent it promptly with the brochures I needed. It only made it more distressful to go through this during a time where I was already furloughed from the other spa I work at because I live in L.A. where everything is on lockdown right now. This company knows that I am a L.A. based cosmetologist and it is known we are suffering extremely hard times right now with the entire city on lockdown with all the spas and salons shut down. I am very reliant on being able to close some retail sales for additional income. They messed up the last retail order so bad that it still hasn't shown up. It's been over ten days; & I haven't been able to get one of my regular clients to return my phone calls where this is her product that is lost.
They actually lost two orders last week. Which is a norm for them! They laughed it off when I called and weren't able to provide a clear answer as to why the package was delayed or why they sold inventory to other customers that I have paid for up-front over 10 days ago and now haven't been able to get that inventory back in stock. I've had to tell clients that I'm not able to sell them something that they also were promised. Now I'm not able to get clients to call me back. The client used to have a really good business relationship with me and used to be a really good client, but it has all changed since this botched shipment. The last package an order of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes called barbicide wipes that are in high demand right now even though I was one of the first people to make the order they lost my payment and order until I finally called the follow-up and ask them what was going on. That is when they notified me that they had sold out inventory of these high demand goods because they sold them to somebody else and disregarded my order payment made first.
Came in yesterday, and the ladies were awesome helping me find new brands. Urban Shock was great all around! Thank you, Tia.
They have improved greatly in customer service over the past year. This is my primary distributor for my skincare business at this time, and since making that clear and stating my challenges, they have clearly worked on making improvements! I have been a customer here for many years! When one of my drop shipping items was lost due to a mail carrier error, they comped and quickly shipped out a replacement order for the customer. This was greatly appreciated!
I have been coming here for 2 years. I love it here! They call me personally to see if I need anything every once in a while and the workers are just soooo nice! They help me find everything I need as well as give me wonderful recommendations. Great prices as well!!! If I could do 6 stars I would!!!!!

I called ahead, they had exactly what I needed !! I don't have a license, but asked nicely if I could please purchase this one item from them, since I left my #1 in a hotel recently on our Anniversary. FYI, I have had my Wahl clippers for 30-40 years, and the new attachment fit perfectly !!
I love this beauty supply store. Every time I go in for something, they are super helpful. They may not carry all the brands I like but they've introduced me to others that I really like. I definitely recommend them!
Get place to get professional hair products and services there is great but you have to be licensed to purchase products
