I graduated from FRCC May 10th, 2018 so here are a few things I noticed from this institution...

First, as most community colleges are feeder schools for larger Universities you'd think the advisors would be able to point students in the right direction toward their academic goals. I spoke with a total of 4 different advisors while attending who all gave me either incorrect information or information greatly lacking toward transfer capabilities.

Second, whoever is running the administrative portion of this school seems to be extremely lazy or slacking heavily... As stated earlier I graduated May 10th 2018 and ordered my Official Transcripts (which cost a monetary fee) on May 29th to my University. I was told by my University that FRCC had not completed my academic process and my Official Transcripts did not reflect my degree which has hindered my progress on numerous levels within my University. When I spoke with someone at FRCC about having issues with my Transcripts they said that they fell behind on inputting the data and I'd have to go ahead and pay for my 2nd official transcripts again even though it was problem caused by their doing. As a student who had many strict timelines throughout my academic career I'd expect the same level of professionalism out of the school itself.

Finally, the professors at FRCC were actually great going above and beyond to help anyone who was struggling or needed some sort of assistance. Over the course of 5 semester in 2 years I didn't have a single bad professor in any course.

I'd love to rate this place higher but I can't ignore the blatant ignorance of the advisors and the lack of responsibility from the administrative teams falling behind on their duties. This has turned what would have been a great experience into a series of unnecessary headaches.

This quite possibly might be the worst community college in the state! Do not waste your time, money, or resources at this institution! You would be much better served going literally ANYWHERE else!

I always have an amazing experience no matter which campus I go to. All the staff at Westminster is amazing and very helpful when I come in. It's always nice to have someone with a smiling face and not trying to rush you when you have questions. Best decision I have made was to go to this college.

If you re a Veteran, don t go here. At all costs. I have never seen so much miscommunication in a school in my entire life. I have helped other service members enroll in colleges and have never seen this messy of a start. I am currently responsible for $2,000 of uncovered classes. I have been told multiple different things from the Veteran Advisor here and I am now stuck with this. Find another college to use your GI Bill on.

This school definitely uses banker hours it's not set up for working adults. There is a nice gym and the teachers are great but sadly more and more programs are being moved online. I really don't think anything the school offers online really compares with Coursera and the school has been cutting back to many programs especially for trades.

FRCC has issues. As with most places. But the good definitely out weights the bad at least in my experience. The staff are all for the most part good and have a pretty good handle on their classes as they are least treat you like a person and not a bank account. I only had one bad teacher from the English department but that's ok. The environment is great. Most of the people there are split between post high school students who are working to get better grades or adults who actually give a sh*t about their education. Most people keep to themselves at least, so if you work better in the environment that pushes classroom success over increasing social media then you'll fit in. The school looks nice and although it can feel like one long hallway, it at least feels welcoming. The cost is hit and miss. Most financial aid is applied and helps but dealing with the people can be difficult. If you can get everything taken care of online and not interact with the staff in that office as ouch as possible you'll be for the better. The counselors are also bad. Taking very little interest in you and just throwing classes at you to the point that you don't really know why this is in your degree and you end up wasting what should be a 2 year degree, gets turned into 4. At least you're learning stuff I suppose. FRCC is a mixed bag but leans more positive despite the issues..

Horrible communication with all staff very displeased in trying to become a student there after being in the military most of my adult life I decided to utilize my gi bill and now it has become a bad mistake I am so disappointed and discouraged that I don t even know if I want to try and go back to school I would never recommend this school to any other military veteran especially with COVID going on the staff is definitely not on the same track for example i have been back in school for three weeks I have not completed any assignments because of lack of communication on showing me how to navigate through school work and now I have also been dropped from all of my classes and with that being said I didn t even have books because the staff could no give me the correct guidance on how to receive book horrible

I am a Army Veteran and I have a service dog. They welcomed us with open arms. I went to Larimer Campus in Fort Collins. FRCC sets you up for success. You will not go wrong getting a degree with them. I obtained a job within days of graduation. I cannot say enough good things about Larimer FRCC

I've had a great experience with most of my teachers, I rarely have a problem with their classes. The problems I have with this school are all technical in their system, they have a serious problem with their computer systems and networks, never before have I ever experienced such horrible IT problems than with this school. Their book store is always out of the specific book I need and I'm never completely sure if I'm registered for a semester or not. I mean, I love going to this school but their IT & book store needs to do a complete overhaul on their systems because these problems aren't normal. For the money I pay to be there I expect their systems and store(s) to have everything I need and for them to fix the problems they are having.

This school is hands down the worst higher education institute in the country. We are on November 4th. I have yet to receive any housing for VA. It s November 4th. My certification was sent in the 21 of October. Put in for hardship through the VA and I was only paid books because the school only certified me die 6 out of 10 hours I m taking. I m a veteran and wildland firefighter relying on school through the winter. I even contacted the dean and put in doe a hardship grant. They need to be investigated and shut down.
