Always a great venue for summer time concerts or vendor events. Even if you don't have tickets the whole area is a great, safe place to walk around with your family and listen to the music and take advantage of great weather.

Last night at a concert my aunt had a medical emergency. She had a very low blood sugar and passed out. The medical staff, security guards and a Dr on site quickly came to help and were very patient and kind to us.I go to the Fraze quite a bit and am always pleased by the way things are ran and how friendly the staff are. Last night they were over the top great! I just wanted to post a review and thank everyone involved for their kindness, and professional handling of a serious medical emergency. Thank you!
Beautiful venue, cozy (even being outside), reasonable concession prices, and clean plentiful restrooms. I will gladly travel to see more shows here! Oh, and parking is FREE, but get there early to get your spot.
Don't bother to arrive early if you are using handicap seating area. As always, it's at the very back of each seating area. If sitting in the grass area, sit in the middle or your view will be blocked by the stragglers walking to their seats as the concert begins.
The Fraze is a beautiful outdoor venue with plenty of seating, stadium, bleachers, and lawn. Parking availability may be an issue, depending on your ability to walk. Although the staff accomodate handicap patrons as much as possible, there is no parking specifically for wheelchair vans. There is easy access to the pavilion by folks who have physical difficulties. A previous review posted comparing the security folks to the SS. Really?!? I don't know what issue the reviewer may have had with a security staff member, but if a patron follows the rules, I cannot imagine there would be a problem. There is a lot of vendors selling food, drink, and merchandise. Well managed. The restrooms are close to the amphitheater, clean, easily accessible, and in working order.
Come early to get a good seat if you have general admission and to find parking. Parking is real hard to find and you might have to walk a bit. The venue is amazing not a bad seat in the house and the sound was amazing! Great place to see a show
They need to get a full liquor license , parking isn't the greatest . We usually sit on the lawn this time they oversold the show they made everyone lay blankets out to where you touch your neighbors which caused upset people .. I didn't care it's a concert but fights were breaking out over it because people wanted their personal space the couple beside us was actually trying to trip people as they were trying to get through staff did nothing until the 6' foot plus husband pushed and elderly woman out into the sidewalk from the lawn and mind you this went on all evening ( they kicked them out about 30 min before show was over ) and this was a 4 band 90s country concert older crowd
I attended the Kettering Block Party - an annual event for Kettering residents and the surrounding community. The Fraze is a fantastic music venue and park area - beautiful place! Free parking - lovely place to meet friends and go for a walk - sit and enjoy the flowers and fountains!
This is a very nice venue. The workers sometimes seems a bit crabby almost yelling at you for having something that you didn't know that you were suppose to have. Instead of just saying, "we cannot have that inside here you have to take it back to you car. Thank you" Courtesy is not their best manners. Just a reminder you can never have an umbrella or a backpack in there while an event is going on there!
An amazing place to see a performance. The food and alcohol offerings are fantastic. Acoustics are like no other in the area. Had a great time seeing Roger Daltry!!!
Awesome venue for outdoor concerts in the Dayton area. Saw Idina Menzel and Allison Kraus here and both concerts were wonderful. We preferred sitting in the assigned seats versus the lawn. But, the seats are very close together.
A great place to have a concert. The 4horns concert was amazing. I'm from Indiana and I have never experienced this kind of atmosphere. The people were very nice. Kettering, Ohio YOU Guys Rock!
Some basic rules are obviously understandable but this place revels in irritating their patrons. An outdoor venue shouldn't charge $4 for something as basic as water, especially when it's 90 degrees. They oversell the lawn area and then expect patrons to fold themselves up like pretzels to accommodate more people. The front seating area in front of the stage can't accommodate anyone other than pretty slim people. I sat there once and the person next to me was half into my seat-not what I expected for paying over $90. Apparently drawstring bags also aren't permitted, even if they adhere to their size restrictions. You have to walk all the way back to your car if you accidentally bring a forbidden object. They come by their moniker of "Fraze Nazis" for a reason. On the positive side, the sound is usually top-notch and it's a beautiful facility.
I just love the Fraze. We usually attend Jazz concerts a couple times a year. It is about an hour and 15 min from my house in Cincinnati, so not too bad... The venue is very comfortable and the sound is great!! It is worth the trip
I like that there was numerous restaurants to eat wings. But 4 dollars for a bottle of water is just flat out ridiculous. You can buy a 24 pack for that. But other than that it was ok.
This place is pretty awesome. When you go to a concert here it's like being in a big outdoor party. The only thing I'd say is you should pay the extra to get decent tickets because if you're sitting on the lawn or terrace then you wont see a thing unless you stand up the entire concert and not everyone can do that.
An unexpectedly beautiful little park in the seat of suburbia, with good upkeep and a constant flow of diverse and innovative events throughout the year. The Fraze Pavillion is a happening place.
The show was awesome it was the crowd and the way the Fraze handled it that I have a problem with. I am disabled and in a wheelchair and I played just as much as anyone else for good seats. I had a great view of the stage until the crowd stood up and totally blocked my view. The Fraze allows the front row to stand by the stage not for just one song but the entire concert! When you stop an employee and tell them there replies are There is nothing that we can do. Wrong , if they cared at all they could have some sort of rules in place. If they can dictate what kind of bag you can bring then they could handle this problem also. I guess being a person with a disability means nothing to the Fraze. Although the Fraze has a section for the handicap it means nothing still the same problem.
I wasn't happy with my visit at all. Rules are rules but they should be for everyone not bent or broken arbitrary to who ever does the search. These people are rude.
I was unhappy with the people at the entrance that checked bags. I had a purse that fit within the guidelines and was also thoroughly searched and was told I would have to buy a Fraze clear bag for $5. I wouldn't have purchased the bag if I didnt have to have my alkaline water for health reasons (recent kidney transplant, etc) plus other very private health items. I had to expose all this plus money and credit cards which left me vulnerable to theft. As I said, the purse was searched without incident. The band was good but the unprofessionalism of the bag search left me soared and therefore, I won't go back to the Fraze.
