While the campus has some charm, the overall experience leaves much to be desired. The administrative processes seem inefficient, and communication could be considerably improved. Additionally, the focus on student support appears lacking, leading to a sense of being overlooked. It feels like there is a disconnect between what is promised and what is delivered. Overall, not a positive experience.
I can honestly say that attending Franklin College is the best decision that I have made in my entire life! Franklin has provided me with many opportunities and is always willing to help me in whatever ways I need. The people here are very caring and you can always find someone to turn to. Franklin College has provided me with a home away from home!
I absolutely love Franklin College. Campus feels like one giant family. The close-knit environment allows me to not only feel comfortable going to my professors for help but also to be held accountable for the work that I do. Franklin has allowed me to explore fields outside of my major and become a more well-rounded individual. The classwork is rigorous, yet applicable to the real world, allowing me to be better prepared for the graduate school admissions process or beginning my career after graduation.
As a small, Liberal Arts College, Franklin College has been able to provide me with an education that I will value for the rest of my life. I have found my home away from home here at Franklin and have created life long relationships. The small class sizes has allowed me to have a closer experience with my professors and have a more personalized education. Franklin College was the right fit for me. Go Griz!
Franklin College has been both a fun and fulfilling environment for me to continue my education. The faculty and staff make the learning environment positive. The student to professor ratio allows for students to get individual help when needed and extra resources when desired.
I am a Junior at Franklin College and I love this campus just as much as I did my Freshman year when I came here. I am involved in many different organizations that I can call mini families of mine to the overarching family-like campus we have here. I can't walk down Dame Mall without saying hello to at least one person whether they are a student or a faculty member. You truly know everyone and are able to connect with them in class, in a club, or on the athletic court/field.
Franklin College has shaped me into the person I am today. From Freshman year to now, I can't imagine myself attending any other college. With its rich history, founded in 1834, Franklin College offers a wide variety of classes, opportunities, and activities for all students to enjoy. Franklin College's Liberal Arts education has helped me become a well-rounded person, personally and academically. If you're looking for a small, wonderful college located just south of Indianapolis, Franklin College is the school for you!
I have been at Franklin College now for three years as a student. When I first arrived on campus, I came to get my degree and get out, however, this campus has changed they way I look at college. It is not just a time where students work to obtain a degree, but also a time where students can build themselves as leaders, followers, and individuals. The experiences I have gained at Franklin College will be with me for my life. The academics here are also outstanding. The classroom setting is individualistic. Professors work closely with their students.
Coming to Franklin College is one of the best decisions I have made. The small campus and class sizes, along with great students, professors and coaches, creates a very personable atmosphere. This atmosphere on campus is one of the main reasons why I chose Franklin in the first place. In addition to my classroom and athletic experiences, Franklin has also been a great place socially. I have built a lot of long lasting friendships during my time here.
Small college campus...you would spend more time driving around your typical mall...than this campus. Did a tour of the campus with my oldest...not too impressed. Perhaps it was just our tour guide. She seemed more interested in showing us the girls common bathroom in the freshman dorm...than showing us actual classrooms.
Really great school, just the right size! I love all the people here and the community is awesome. Its location is perfect for internships or just to have fun with all of your friends. I recommend coming and checking it out. Plus there are overnight visits and you can shadow current students to get a feel for what it's really like!
