Took a few computer classes here. I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities, and the courses were well worth the cost. Be prepared to receive a lot of mail from them if you take any classes.
Very educational place with very good morals values plus respect
A great place for continued education for anyone interested.
It actually pains me to write this review. My now husband and I have been coming to District 21 since we got engaged, over 5 years ago. We ate here to celebrate our engagement and even had our rehearsal dinner here! We loved this restaurant and they always made us feel like family. The food used to be amazing, high quality, well prepared, fresh. The service used to be phenomenal, they recognized us and always asked how the kids are, etc. And now this place is a husk of it's former self. The waitress was cold and seemed bored. The food was actually disgusting and parts inedible. My steak was incredibly salty, the french fries and "poutine" gravy were bland and hard. My husband's starter looked like play doh and tasted like it too. His duck was dry and the portion was extremely small. We used to always ask for boxes for the leftovers but now....there is absolutely no need. This is the first time in my life I walked away without finishing a dessert. The ginger cake was dry and paired with a citrus sauce that was appalling. This meal was so bad we are turning our backs on 5 wonderful years of District 21 and will never be back. Save your money, folks, this place isn't what it used to be.
I visited the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Substation at this location for my SDA process. Prior to arriving I called and spoke with Mr Tod, who was very helpful in answering all my questions and gave my great directions. Once at the Substation Mr Tod again was very helpful and helpful me understand the timelines involved in my SDA finishing process. Thank-you very much Mr Tod for your help and the helpful information.
I went through the cosmtology program in 2 years and I finished up my hours in June 2018. The teachers were all very nice and but didn t set any of us up for success in the real world. They taught us how to pass state board but what s the point of passing and having no skill. When trying to find jobs we are automatically at a disadvantage because we didn t have enough hands on experience. It s a nice start but you will need continued education to be as good as students who graduated from other schools. We needed more color theory and cutting classes and less cross words, word searches, pin curls and roller sets.
3 hours and no acomadatio s for people with disability
I can't speak to the actual course offerings, but I can attest to their treatment of potential customers/students. I went here yesterday to try and enroll in their Enterprise Development program as part of the Programming and Software Development track and was turned away with a three to four year wait period! That's longer than it would take to get into an actual college, and if it actually does take that long to get into a program, I would think that a disclaimer on their website might be helpful to avoid potential miscommunication in the future. I had been planning on taking this program for the past eight months or so, and it was a little disappointing to be turned away without even so much as having my information taken so that I could be notified when and if something opens up. Also, the fact that they offer free education for high school students but not for everyone else is completely ludicrous. If they are able to offer free education for high school students, why not do it for everyone? The gentleman that I spoke to seemed courteous and even shook the male student's hand that he saw before me, but then during my consultation he was extremely short and very unhelpful. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a female or what, but the disparity in attitude was a big red flag to me. Luckily there are other better options out there online, so I'll just use this as motivation to find an alternate route to achieve my career goals.
The career advisor Mr. Scott is a professional who is ever willing to help.
Well, I've never been to the school, but their lack of customer service is what I am reviewing. I had a question and emailed them, never heard back. I made sure I had the right email address and sent another question. No response. It's been weeks now. Wow, MNTC responds asap. Very upsetting as I don't have time to call during the day, and really, how hard is it to answer an email.
This place does a lot of good and serves a lot of people! I've been involved with their web design and development program for a number of years, and it specifically is a great program.
I actually enjoyed my experience here in 2010-2013 for Culinary with Ms Judy and Terri
I went to school here for cosmetology for 2 years, some teachers were great and some weren t. Its full of drama with teachers and students and makes it hard to learn when everyone s always fighting. It s all about grades doesn t matter if you learn material or not it just needs done. Don t even get me started on the online school I had to do for COVID. Cosmetology school made me realize it wasn t right for me and I would ve rather paid for an education from Paul Mitchell schools than this. It isn t worth it in the end.
Do you require people to have a ged or diploma to be able to attend your nail tech program?
The staff there don't seem to have an ounce of reasonable intelligence. Can't even spell a person's name correctly even after numerous instructions on how to spell it.
I did my Two years of Caulinary at FT now I work at Francis Tuttle now. Francis Tuttle is a good place to be.
