The trucks that the drivers are given are too smal...

The trucks that the drivers are given are too small (the driver seat hits the bunk) and there is no place to store equipment let alone any personal items. There is only 1 fuel tank and the speed is turned down to where it is almost a safety issue. The Knoxville terminal shop does not seem to be concerned with working on drivers trucks but others are more accommodating. The dispatchers have been amazing this far to work with which is a huge plus.
The pay is decent for the area but you have to keep an eye out or they will short your checks. They have a weekly minimum but there are strict requirements to receive that. No 401k opportunity until after a year.
This is far from the worst trucking company in the area. All in all, it's not a bad place to land. We have been there 6 months and still learning as they grow. I would recommend them if you like stable and consistent. If you are all about comfort and making a lot of money, you may want to keep looking.

Was not given the position I was described when I started here, I was told I would be hauling dedicated glass no touch freight and be home weekends and possibly once during the week but hauled glass once a week if that then was doing flatbed work in dry van trailers, the trucks are small and have few comforts; I quit the weekend of my sons birthday and turned in their equipment to their Knoxville TN yard because I refused to continually be kept away from my family and haul a busted trailer they refused to repair that was coming apart due to their overloading of them. Would not recommend this place and would also be aware I have had to deal with them lying on my dac, if I had known they would have put down I abandoned their equipment I would have parked it in a ditch or the middle of the road and left it running but theres more than one way to get back at people that do you wrong.

I just completed orientation for Fraley and Schilling at the Knoxville terminal. By far the best experience I have had with any company. The food was great and plentiful. The staff was very professional. Felt like 1 of the team from day 1. I personally want to thank Fleetwood , Josh and Wayne for the hands on experience they gave to us. Fraley and Schilling couldn't have picked 3 better gentlemen for the job. Very professional, Very knowledgeable, and all around great group of fellas. I recommend to any driver unhappy with where they are at, to come and be part of the family. I promise its the best move I have made in my career.

Wayne and Scott was really good guys and very knowledgeable learn alot in the 4 days I was there but had a situation wer I had to leave because office staff didn't know how to handle it...so I can say if you wanna learn safety and how to properly secure your load on a flat bed hit Wayne or Scott up at the Knoxville terminal and I'm sure you will learn alot even if you think you know everything you will definitely learn something new

I recently completed the orientation process in Knoxville TN. I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. The accommodations we're great as well as the food that was catered for us all week. The staff was very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable in their area of expertise. The instructors we're awesome they really know what they are doing and they know what they are talking about. I would highly recommend F&S to any driver looking to make a positive change in their work life. By far the best and most extensive training I've ever received thus far and I've work for quite a few companies. I'm happy and proud to be apart of the F&S family.

Never have I worked for, and been around a better company that truly tries to do what's right day in and day out. The family atmosphere the company projects all around is fostered into all of the employees here, no matter what role they may play. We all work together to achieve a common goal. Thank you for always being the company that is beyond reproach.

Everything was all good until I got out of orientation an placed under the people out of the Charleston terminal. There the only ones that gave me trouble everyone else was okay. For me pay sucked in my honest opinion I made more driving dry van than flatbed. They let me go because I had a family emergency in which for my wife was life threatening. All in all I have nothing bad to say about FNS.Dispatch was okay. The money is a big joke an I say that not out of me hating anyone or anything about this company.Sonething just wasn't right about pay with them. The taxes they took out on me were through the roof. The medical was expensive by the time all that came out you barely broke even.Come out better working a regular job or flipping burgers.Dont ever need a life jacket though. The turnover rate for this company is 90 percent.I see why.

So my husband works here. But I have been here many of time. They treat there employees and even the driver with respect. To any drive read this. Your not a number to them they know by name I can say not alot of company do that. They treat you and your family like family so so basically they're like your extended family. Depend on where you live you can be home/see you family more often. Now the people who work for the office are really nice even when I have been there they all are great to talk to. I would say call and give this company a chance.

This has been, thus far, the BEST company I'd ever worked for! The staff--especially my Hiring Manager (Chase), my Driver Manager (Ben), and the Orientation Director (Wayne)-- is top-notch, and my fellow Truckers are way cool. I've been through orientation, and even THAT experience was great! I've been with a few different trucking companies, and I have to say that F&S has been awesome! They keep up the great work, they will be getting that 5th star!
