Was very disappointed in the birthday cake we purchased a Italian wedding cake there were hardly any strawberries in the center the cream tasted old we also purchased kolaches they were dry the lady that waited on us was pretty rude seem to be having a problem behind the counter with another co-worker unprofessional reason for the three stars was we also purchased potato salad and that was awesome would not buy Bakery here again but would go back to try their Deli

The donuts here are really good. You can tell the frosting they use is some of the best.

Their quality has gone down hill... whipped cream tastes like pure lard/crisco... left a bad after taste. Pasta salad tasted Blah... Gave them 1 star because of their Italian Bread.

Do not go in here hungry. The smells of the food & bakery will make you overboard on what you buy but it is also good. So happy to still have a great bakery around & they don't break the wallet to much.

I called from Florida, sight un-seen and only based on the on-line reviews, to order some food for my son's senior recital. I was attended to on the phone like I was a well known customer. Their entire menu was explained to me on the phone and my order was taken in the most professional way. I ordered the 100 piece pastry tray, 40 Halloween cookies and a large cheese tray. When I arrived my order was freshly prepared and waiting for me at the exact time I asked, boxed and plated perfectly. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. When some of the other customers saw what I was leaving with, many of them wanted to follow me to my event, so I knew it was going to be good. EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC!!!!! The pastries were to-die-for. Needless to say, it was all gone by the end of the night. Besides this, we also grabbed a sub for dinner. Perfect in every way. Thank you for taking care of this for me and making my event special. If I am ever back in your area, I will find a way to get to your bakery and make a purchase. Do not hesitate to shop here. All of the employees were so helpful.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Always great donuts and bread. Try the pre-made frozen pizza dough, its great for homemade pizza.

This is a local institution, and has earned its excellent reputation for pastries and sandwiches over the course of decades. We'll worth a visit, stop on in.

Best pizza dough. Great selection of pastries howverever you need to ger there earlier in the day so you have your pick. Prices are great for the quality of fresh products!

Everything is great; you cannot go wrong! My recommendation is to try their locally renowned cream sticks for breakfast, but grab a few, or you ll regret it. If lunch or dinner is what you re feeling, then you ll be in good company as many flock to Fragapane s for one of their huge deli sandwiches, homemade pizza, & various desserts, salads, or sides.

Fragapane s is located on the west end of North Olmsted, away from the bustle of heart of the City. You can easily access the bakery by taking l-480 West, exiting at Stearns Road, heading north, then a quick right down Lorain Road, similarly from I-90 head south down Crocker Road, which turns into Stearns. There is also a bakery in Bay Village. Both Fragapane s locations are comfortably located near beautiful parks where you will enjoy your meal. We went around the corner to North Olmsted Community Park, which has plenty of picnic tables. We took refuge from the rain under the pavilion.

Fragapane Bakeries has a wide variety of food choices. With so many mouth-watering options, we made our selections based on experience, word-of-mouth suggestions, and literally every one of our senses feeding our mind with delightful food foreplay. Like playing a palate poker hand, we went all-in . We ordered a Fragabomb sub sandwich, a slice of homemade mushroom & cheese pizza, some potato salad, cookies, & of course the famous or rather infamous cream sticks (because they will slaughter your gustatory taste cells).

The Fragabomb was packed with deli meats on a fresh-baked bun, un-friggin-believable ! The pizza was on an original homemade bakery crust, and there s no comparison in the market. The potato salad and cookies were spot-on & left us wanting more, but the cream sticks are almost indescribable. You will not find a better combination of flavors in such a simple treat. It s like the dough, the light cream filling, & the frosting were meant to manufacture bakery bliss. If you want an unforgettable experience, then take a dozen cream sticks home or to the office, you will hit automatic hero status with your family or co-workers.

Expect reasonable prices, but keep in mind, this isn t a corporate chain, it s a family-run bakery that takes pride in their products. As an example, I believe the fully loaded sub was about $7 & a boxed dozen cream sticks were around $10. If I lived closer, this would probably be a regular stop multiple times per week - it s honestly that great!

Upon a return visit, I d definitely try another sub & maybe mix it up with one of Fragapane s anti-pasto salads. Of course, I always grab some cream sticks, but I might inquire about checking if they ever make some ham salad to-go?

All of their pastries are amazing, especially their maple sticks and bear claws! I was surprised how low their prices are, especially because they are so well known.

Fraga bomb sandwich beats subway any day, 5 times the meat for half the cost. Go get a fraga bomb right meow.

Great deal and amazing bakery goods!! My family loves loves loves the maple cream sticks. It is busy, as expected, on the weekends. Some customers fail miserably at keeping 6 feet apart. But the store and staff are excellent.

We had sub sandwiches from the deli and they were wonderful. The cookies from the bakery were nice for dessert.

Their salads are absolutely awesome...and priced great.

Best damn sub in North Olmsted and perhaps northern Ohio (maybe north America ...) I laugh at the people I see walking into/out of Subway five doors down. Also their bakery goods cannot be beaten.

So glad this place has managed to survive covid and have been around for so long. It is filled with so much diverse and delicious food. Deli with meats, cheeses, and pre-made food - they got it, snacks - they got em, desserts and bakery items for days - they got em all hand made, drink assortments - they got em, party planning - they got it. Thank you so much for all of your hard work for so many years.

I usually do not write bad reviews but with a recent experience I had at Fragapane Bakeries i had too.. I called at 5:30 pm and asked about a last minute birthday cake that I had to order for an employee at work. The girl that answered the phone said "yes we have birthday cake ready" . I went and ordered it. I told her I will be there on time since I was leaving my current location. She proceeded to say we close at 6 pm. I have arrived at Fragapane at 5:59 pm on time!! There was 2 customers still in the establishment. I went to the counter and told an associate that I was the one that have ordered the cake. I proceeded asked about the cream puffs. I ordered 1 lb. Let you know I felt I was bothering this employee. It was her demeanor. It was the most uncomfortable feeling. She didn't even say "Thank you." She just dropped the box down at the counter and walked away without saying "Thank you." There was another associate that was ringing customers out. I know everyone has a bad day but please do not express it in front of the customers. To end it all, The cake was frozen when the birthday girl try to cut it at 9 pm at night during her celebration moment and the girl never told me that it was frozen. We were embarrassed! It was still FROZEN!. The associate should have told me that it was still frozen so I can determine if I still wanted to buy the cake. Over all experience was bad!! Rushing to get a frozen cake with a bad attitude. The cream puffs were awesome though! I gave a star for the cream puffs.

Great bakery and selection of deli as authentic Italien products. Pastries are beautiful and look delicious! Fresh bread you can have sliced, too. I only wish the line to check out and or get help were more clearly marked. With the C19 distances it's hard to know where the line ends or begins.

That store is just awesome, you'll want to try everything

I ordered the house sub for lunch and it was so big that it became lunch AND dinner!

A friendly team, amazing baked goods, great salads. The pizzas aren't my thing (too soft, no real bite unless they are a bit dry by then). But if you go to Fragapane, you don't go there for the pizza... It's the best bakery in Cleveland, period. Whether you want cakes, cream-sticks, muffins, donuts or anything more diverse... just watch your calories, it can be a bit addictive.

They did a phenomenal job on my sons birthday cake! They accommodated for my son and barely put any icing on the cake but it was decorated beautifully with a a pirate theme!! Will definitely be getting his cakes from there

5 stars for the variety and great experiences but not perfect. Bakery is solid as is the selection. Great for first birthday or a dozen donuts. I'd recommend the deli especially the capocolla. The sandwichs are fantastic and the fresh sides hit the spot. Perfect for party tins. On the pricy side.

This place USED to be the bomb, hailed for their pastries and baked delights - now...well, their deli in the back has FANTASTIC sandwiches with Boars Head lunch meats.

We bought a variety of cookies and pastries, all which were either overly sweet (couldn't even EAT it, sweet), dried out or just...OK.
The N.Y style cheesecake was the only thing we all agreed was delicious.
The staff is welcoming, warm and friendly and I would go back just because of their happy energy.

My three stars is because this is a BAKERY, but we were sadly disappointed with their baked goods.

Best bakery in town they have great Donuts in the best deli sandwiches very nice people enjoy going there at least once a week try their homemade macaroni and potato salad

I live in Lorain which is 30 minutes away but well worth the travel. This last visit had Italian sub, wedding cake and lady locks. All were delicious. Looking forward to my next visit.

I'm not sure how they have a 4.8 rating. It can't be from the bakery. First time and last time I'll be going. Purchased several items none of it was fresh and 2/3rds were inedible. Very disappointing.
