Very professional and informative with a positive position and helps restructures your priorities and focus on your goals

Do they ever answer a phone return a message or even set up an appointment for you. Took orientation took exam had about 3 face to face with counselor still nothing. They talk about motivation how about this just do what you say your going to do. Your job get the feeling this place is bias.

I'm REALLY suspicious of 4 & 5 Star Reviews without comments. So-called "local guides". If you eliminate the 4 & 5 Star Reviews without comments, this place would be at best a 2. Something to think about

Liers. I went through all the orientation and reumes classes and academic testing. After wasting MONTHS of my time im told becuase my wife makes to much money they cant send me to train for my CDL. If your going to go here and you have a family i stongly suguest you lie to these people. Other wise your just waisting your time.

So far this place looks great,looking forward to joining.

If you're looking for help with a new career or your starting your life over " this place is the place. They will challenge you just be ready for the test ".

Went here for a week-long orientation, then met with a Case Manager here, and that pretty much sums up my experience. My Case Manager merely referred my resume to a unnamed "Job Developer" and that I would simply "be contacted" if any jobs became available. They did nothing to assist in obtaining employment or exploring training options. Very poor service. Not recommended.

AC is booming, free WiFi, clean bathrooms, polite service, and comfortable seating.

I have been taking my significant other here to get his fork lift certification and his OSHA for the past couple of months. I m very much a patient person in life but this place has pushed me to my last straw. Currently, we live past South Point Casino and I drive to FIT so that he can do the necessary steps required by the court.

Let me tell you, that this is the most disorganized, unprofessional place I have ever been to. SERIOUSLY. For the past few months the coordinator that he is assigned always has an excuse on why he isn t there. Sick, busy, or plain out forgets about the meeting. We have driven up here so many times and they are not even considerate enough to call/cancel if they know they are not going to be there. They have wasted so much gas of mine and time off of work that I m at the point of writing this review and I don t even NEED this program. Today he FINALLY got scheduled to have a fork lift orientation but guess what ? Lol NO FORK LIFT INSTRUCTOR.

So once AGAIN, I wasted gas and time for nothing. They don t call to make you aware that there canceling or rescheduling, they wait till your up here to tell you that there s no one here to see. Sorry this place is a total joke. Six months of this and still the same junk. No orientation and no instruction. SIX MONTHS. I feel bad for ppl who need this because they are a mess up here .

Unreliable, unprofessional, and very disorganized.

The fact I took time out of my day to write this speaks volumes and I don t even need this program my significant other does.

Very helpful staff. Good place to go if u have a checkered past and want to move ahead in life

This spot is awesome. The case managers try their harderest to help you find employment. A bunch of my family and friends went through their program and they have all gotten assistance in some way. Just be honest and upfront & make sure to stay in communication with your case manger it instructor and they'll hook you up as much as they can.

They helped me out a few years back when I was transitioning from job to job. They helped me through with a trade school and found employment. Hopefully one day I will give back to this charity. If you want to get ahead you have to put in hard work and dedication. It s not easy. Make a way instead of excuses.

A very very good place to get your foot in the door but if your a nerd or electronic specialist they may not have the job for you. Manual labor is more there thing oh, and. C.D.L. types of work (if you have a gppd drivimg record of course).

So far so good, but I'm not done I will let you guy know in the next month. lol.

HAVENT LEFT SINCE they treat me like family ! I TRIED IT SCHOOL (through them) DIDNT CARE FOR IT SO MUCH THEY HELPED ME FIND SOMETHING ELSE I WAS INTERESTED IN NOW I HAVE MY FORKLIFT LICENSE MY OSHA 10 AND FLAGGERS NOTHING $0 OUT MY POCKET..NO MATTER WHEERE YOU ARE IN LIFE FOUNDATION FOR INDEPENDENT TOMORROW WILL STEP IN AND HELP YOU OUT THEY ALL ARE THE BEST EVERYBODY WORKING IN THIS BUILDING FROM CASEWORKERS TO THE FRONT DESK HELP TO THE JANITOR

THIS PLACE IS A WASTE OF TIME!!!! THEY ARE HOLDING ON TO GRANTS FOR THERE FAMILY AND FRIENDS I GUESS? BECAUSE YOU WILL BE TURNED DOWN ON ALL YOUR DREAMS! FACTS

This program works if you yourself make it work for a career not just a minimum wage job. I highly recommend this non profit to those in need.

Nice careers center to improve your job search and help with a job

I see that some reviews on here are positive which means there are a few sour apples that will spoil the bunch! For me, this is the most unorganized facility ever!! The purpose is to help people become certify to gain a strong employment. I attended their orientation and that was the VERY last time I have heard from them. NEVER got a call from a case manager I left her several messages and still no response. If funds and availability is limited then stop the orientation which happens EVERY Monday. Why take on more clients if you (FIT) do not have the means or most importantly the time to help those that already have a file in your office? If you cannot help pick up the phone and tell us rather then have us come to orientation plus classes just to heard NOTHING in return!!

This place is horrible they have you do 2 weeks of training and then they never call you back for me it was a wast of time That's just me tho good luck

Very Productive and Professional and "Supportive" Staff. I couldn't be happier and more Motivated to accomplish my every goals. They truly care.

For me Fit was great. I was stupid enough to not finish but this is because of my Medical ISSUES. I am unable to get a second chance but it really is a great program. You just have to follow through with everything. To better yourself in life it take more of your demand but so worth it.

I got rejected 3 times don't waste your time on these ppl they don't help you...
