I joined the Y for a year, and will not be going back. This location is EXTREMELY busy, which causes problems with parking. In the winter, they lay down boards to walk on when the back lot is flooded. Locker rooms are not especially clean, and it is so busy, it's difficult to get a pool lane, basketball court, or exercise equipment during peak hours.

The YMCA has been closed for months now due to COVID, yet they still charge me a monthly fee? I explicitly my membership be paused until the gym opens. You may be a charity, but I am not. I am paying for a service that if it is not provided will not be paid for. It is dishonest to continue to charge when you aren't open and providing a service.

This has become my least favorite Y. I find it to be dirty and overly crowded. The staff tends to be rude and the other members seem to reflect that they believe that they are the only Y that matters. It is sad that this facility continues to go downhill at a rapid rate. For the dues that members pay it would seem that maintaining the facilities would be a bigger priority.

Very nice people, but sometimes decisions are baffling. Excellent basketball league and facility for almost 20 years, then decides to put us in an old gym in disrepair across town with no price break and no explanation.

nice staff, but not great for families. their "family restrooms" are a tiny shower stall with changing table and when I looked in the kidzone, it was just kids sitting around a tv. the workout areas and lounge are nice

Everyone on the staff is cordial and helpful. To my amazement they finally replaced bulbs in the men's locker room and shower areas. What a difference it makes. It does however show that this locker room needs a good floor to ceiling cleaning. The new SciFit machines are marvelous.

Honestly, it is a great facility, and what they do there is amazing. It is a great place to hang out or get a workout in. And for anyone who thinks this site is located in a shady neighborhood, you obviously don't live anywhere within the city of Perrysburg. :)

The kid zone is wonderful. The staff is super friendly and it makes it so much easier to get a work out in when my kids are excited to go to the Y. The kids area has all kinds of toys for babies, toddlers and kids. They even have art projects to do on some days. I got really sweet Mother s Day cards with my kids hand prints. The staff is great!

This YMCA stole money out of my account after I canceled my membership, even after I got a new debit card twice they still found a way to take money out. They did this two months in a row and the second month took a double payment. Working with the bank now to get it back.

I hate this Y, it's awful.

I hate this Y, it's awful.

Too freaking hot - why on earth can't they fix the AC in the gym. It'll be 30F outside and 90F inside and humid as all get out. It's seriously gross and makes me dread coming here.

Sundays suck - they rent the space to a church Sunday until noon. God forbid (literally) you want exercise then.

Expensive!!!! - family membership for two is $72/month. What the??

Adults get the shaft! - Focused on kids only - they can't afford to fix the AC but redid the entire pool? They cut workout classes bc they can't afford them but have tons of events for kids? What does my $72/mo membership go to?

Crowded - omg the people. It's always jam packed in an awful, can't breathe, can't get a machine, kind of way.

Old locker rooms - smelly, outdated, even hotter than the gym. It's gross.

Literally no redeeming qualities about this place, not much competition around so they seem to be ok with their crappy quality.

Be careful who you meet in the parking lot there are some thieves in the neighborhood nothing to do with the Y MCA. Just keep your heads up in the neighborhood my opinion. I believe the YMCA is a wonderful place to be though. I wish there was cameras on the exterior of the building

First of all there is no monthly membership available at this location. You had to sign for 1 year agreement minimum. I have signed this agreement since I have kids and thought of joining to classes.
Now what..?? CoVid...no one expected. I called them in second month and asked about cancellation and they said not possible and kept it for hold and said won't charge unless I call and Resume. They do false statements. It's been 7 months we didn't even step in once and they charged every month. 3 more months to go..., Requested them to cancel..they will simply transfer the call to supervisor and continue to charge monthly amount. No ethics ... strongly suggest not to join this location.
I have been ymca member from years and previous locations have monthly membership choices and they were so nice. They have some values.

My husband and I really like going here the gym has good equipment. The pool is in great condition, the restrooms are okay. They have a great variety of classes and the instructors are really good! We don't have kids but I'd say it's a great place for the whole family.

Not worth the value. The equipment is old and the area is crowded. They are raising the membership rate next month and the gym downstairs isn t even open. It hasn t been open since the gym reopened and the way everyone works out without a mask in such a small space is not safe.
