Fort McDowell was our favorite place that we almost go there every night sometimes with friends but the last year we have been losing not winning anything no budgets to play for a while that's why we're usually going to other casinos like desert diamond and vee quiva casino the budget there is much better than McDowell now

This is an excellent place the staff is outstanding we will definitely be back.

For the most part I enjoy playing bingo at Fort McDowell although lately some of the manager have shown poor judgement and poor response time Troodon going complaint that I have I'm still waiting over a month to give back from the Tribal Council on a complaint on file if they're interested in my opinion they need to contact me otherwise they'll get negative reviews like now for poor response

They gave me $10 in freeplay money to begin with. Then I won $60 over the course of two hours. I spent $10 on drinks, and left $50 ahead!! Awesome place!!!!

Great payout n great prices on food at the New York Grill...

Food was good, especially for a casino. Staff was helpful but not all that knowledgeable. Machines weren't overly tight. We'll be back there, for sure.

Buffet way over priced for quality of food.
They ran out of lobsters when we went...after we paid for it.
The server was a bitter and rude lady who said " It's not my fault...what do you expect me to do about it ? " while informing me of the lobster.
Prime rib was tough as leather and the seafood had seen better days.

Win money here almost every time I visit. Great machines, so much fun!

No food to eat after12 midnight-7AM. Open the little deli for after hours Service!!! 7 hours is a long time with NO FOOD!!! Won't be back untill a Food Service is available!!!! A. POST

Really nice casino! Super clean, great food, friendly atmosphere. Seemed like the winnings were better there than other casinos.

Older casino, several eateries from fast food, buffet to steak house. Gaming and bingo was chintzy, not much fun.

Picked up a jackpot winner, alot of construction by the hotel, it can be hard to get to the hotel lobby but you can get there

because the machines hardly ever pay off their food is too damn expensive anymore and you don't treat their customers very well

The live music was ok but the lead singer wasn't very good and the band was great.

It was fun didn't win any jackpots.but had a good time .

If you're going for the 'prime' rib ... at best it's over cooked and it's stew meat ... far from PRIME meat

Like most AZ casino's its very smokey even in the non-smoking section so be prepared to go home smellinh like an ash tray. Other than that there are alot of options for play and even on a busy night there's always open machines. Oh, and the band on Saturday nights is usually pretty good as well people get up and dance, just have a good time.

Win win win. Walked in with $40 came out with over $500 in roughly an hour!!!

This place was awful! And that is a compliment. Games are rigged. Nobody wins there! I hated it. There is nothing exciting about this loser casino. Might as well walk in and hand them your hard earned money.

Bingo hall is to smokey. Employees or their family members win big Bingo jackpots all the time.. Same people Bingo every day...Managment could careless.Something is not right in that Bingo hall.State needs to investigate

Winner winner. LOVE The Blackjack Dealers And Push Game. Also found a pay slot (not telling)

It is small and the payoffs are bad . The machines do not pay. Went for the dancing and music and their was fighting until after midnight. The band was supposed to start at 9. It never played. Was very disappointed .

Like the slots here just don't like how smoky the casino is. Lost my voice from coughing due to the second hand smoke.

It is small (compare to other casinos) and it smells like an ashtray, the ventilation is bad. The coffee taste like instant (Folgers) too. Don't bother going here people...

Night clerk needs to learn how to apply customer service ,bathroom is a serious accident waiting to happen, and room had a serious thermal leak around heating/AC unit and door.

Smoky casino and bingo hall, buffet food good, desserts look great but taste horrible.

Great buffet, once a week offering great seafood, another is prime rib. Fridays & Saturday free live band with dance floor.

I like fort McDowell casino it has the machines are like and it doesn't get crowded.
The downside is the buffet serves the worst tasting food I've ever eaten.
Try the cafe near the bingo hall the food is good there and they have ice cream.
There is also a restaurant in the casino that I've tried and I've been happy both times I've eaten there.
Just don't eat at the buffet.

Love the all you can eat crab legs at the red rock buffet! Dungeness crab Saturdays are the best! So glad they got crab back on the weekends

Lots of fun. We need to go back and stay longer. Awesome staff. Lots of machines paying out.

Been there a handful of times and never once got up . I know u can't win every time but would be nice to get a bonus and win at least once . But have really cheap cigarettes .

Large hotel. Casino is smaller then expected. Lots of slots. Roulette and other table games.

No one in my group won anything. In fact it has been a long time since I have had any fun or luck at Ft McDowell. Time to open things up!!

After driving for hours to get to this casino set up is nice friendly employees, but or slots was off or hardly you could win not even penny, during three hour I spend didn't see anybody to won anything it wasn't worth to go again.

Had a good time I was there 3 hours didn't see any handpays at call. Way to smoke in there for me, it's just the smoking there's terrible

I understand that casino's dont really pay our but there are some that at least when they do pay out actually do. Fort McDowell really doesn't have a good pay out there machines are set to not pay on bonus play spins. I was playing on a slot and it stopped right in the process of landing on bonus play it did that several times and on different slots would not recommend playing. Was a big RIP off going and playing.

The crab night is good. Had lots of seafood not just crab.

My parent tell me they now charge an extra fee for crab of almost $15. If you don't want crab it is cheaper and you can still eat the other seafood they have such as shrimp, muscles, clams, ECT.

It's hard to review a casino I lost money should I lower score? It was a good experience sushi was good and not over priced. Games were diverse and entertaining. Only thing would prefer a bigger non smoking section

Came for crab leg buffet. Didn't really care for crab legs, they were so oversteamed. But overall, I had a good visit here.
