Still old school . they need an upgrade . it was fun though .

favorite place to play blackjack. The dealers are friendly and there is always A $5 dollar table to just hang out for a little bit. Live music on the weekends and apparently there are big things happening with the hotel. At least the construction suggest so. Good luck yalll!

Way too crowded, couldn't get on any slots I like to play + the gift shop was closed so I couldn't even get my cigs for waaay cheaper.

They didn't seem to have that Great of a selection in their slot machines most of the time the place seem to be dead rather than alive

Decent place if you're up to driving out a little ways. Payouts are variable. They need better restaurants.

Always have fun. Can dress up Or down...either way it's all good. This is the only casino I go to.

Horrible tight slots, I ve been there 6 times, and yet to have won even a bonus. Also have not been offered so much as a bottle of water the last two times I was there. We were there Sunday at 6 PM list hundreds of dollars, not one bonus nor a waitress. Not going back there I ll drive to Phoenix.

This place has horrible air filters or something because it smells like smoke Everytime I visit. No drink ladies walking around.

Clean, safe, and good food value. Staff was pleasant.

So i decided to swing by just cause i was by there for work and play some slots. I won 2200 . not saying everyone will win but i have always liked ft mcdowell over the other casinos. I have always won more often then not here.

Great prices and friendly faces....sort of....I am a big seafood fan and have gone back plenty of times because they have great oysters! They are so tasty that I can taste sea. The glares and staring were a bit uncomfortable but they usually are nice to to you if you leave a good tip.

Worst dining experience of my life here. Ok if you like smoke filled, poor ventilated bingo halls. Not ok if you have any sort of class or self respect.

Was ok i dont know what to think about the tempature taking going in feel that that is singling out more than covid but overall it was ok could use people wiping off machines

Good fun and machines paid enough to keep you interested. They didn't just take your money.

I was just there last night and lost $180 and a matter of hour and a half paying the minimum not good

Pretty cool Casino and resort. Lots to do aside from gambling. Close to Salt River and outdoor desert fun.

Long drive to get there but the buffet made it worth the drive!

Not worth the long drive. It is essentially a bingo parlor with slot machines.

We stayed at their resort, everything was absolutely wonderful. The services was exceptional. In the casino, we even won money.

You got to try the seafood here! For that I will give them 5 stars!

I went for Blackjack action, and they have $5 minimum tables (increasingly rare these days) every time I go. It's a little weird that the bingo hall is right down the hall (I mistakenly entered there the first time and had to "find" the casino). I haven't been to all the casinos in the valley, but this one wasn't bad. Won $100 the first time I went, lost it the 2nd.

I won 1,309.00 on one machine. It took me over a month to get it because I didn't have any photo I.d. It took me over a month to get I.d. because my s.s. last name didn't match my drivers license. So be prepared. Winnings over 1,200.00 require photo I.d. tax purposes. I LOVE CASINOS PERIOD AND FT MCDOWELL IS A TRUE WINNER.

Best casino in the area. Your money will actually last you a decent amount of time and keep you entertained. Food is cheap and good, overall a great place. They don't seem to try to overwhelm you with things like in Vegas.

Lost $200.00 didn't even get a cup of coffee offer to me in the three hours I was there. Didn't even hit a 3 spot. I can play at Lone Butte with $40 all night long. And usually come home winners.

Bingo was unorganized, very cold in bingo hall, food is disgusting and staff could care less

They have a little something for everyone from bingo to slots. The buffet is small but amazing.

Worst casino in the world, you know the gas stations near Vegas that have a small casino in them, they are better than fort McDowell. Nothing good to say about this casino at all.

Had a Blast, Friendly staff very informative.. Good food try the Indian Fry bread Taco, delicious. Chicken strips r good too.Like they have a separate area for Non Smokers which I wish they would make smaller room for smokers.. We are stuffed in small room more people are becoming Non Smokers...

Not as many machines as Casino Arizona - but still a good time.

NEVER WIN HERE U HAVE BETTER CHANCE AT SCRATCHERS DONT WASTE THE TIME DRIVING NOT TO MENTION THE GAS..... THEY DO NOT OFFER DRINKS U HAVE TO GO GET THEM URSELF IN THE BINGO HALL AND THE DELI THEY HAVE OKAY FOOD WHEN THEY GET UR ORDER RIGHT. DON'T EXPECT THE PPL WORKING IN THE DELI TO BE FRIENDLY THO. They may become a better casino once the new building is complete. But the new Slot Manager has the Slots so tight it really just worth it to wait for a Vegas trip.
Staff is friendly, but drink and food service managers need to learn how to not ever cut back on help. A waiter was all by herself to take orders and serve way to many people at one of the Bar/Resturants last time we visited. Buffet staff never smiles and not trained to even know how to Carve a Turkey, or Prime Rib.

Not much going on, whoever is in charge of getting people in the door has failed

Had lobster rolls at Cafe 87...they were horrible mushy and so runny, the filler was dropping out of the sandwich ...7 months prior the lobster rolls we're awesome...very disappointed that they changed so badly :(

All the staff and security seemed to be very helpful and friendly, unfortunately the casino itself feels a bit dated. Strong smell of smoke throughout and not adequately ventilated compared to places in Vegas.

Like this casino because it not so huge you lose yourself. Win about 50/50. Cheap cigarettes in the gift shop.

What can one say about a casino, has some good places to eat, lots of places,to,play

Wouldn't reccomend this place for poker player. I've been the last three weeks in a row and first week I show up for early bird but there is no seat available for 2 hours they dont break the 9 and make it two games of 5 even with an extra dealer in the room. Next week I got there an hour before early bird so i could play and no one showed up and they said it was uncommon for them to get a game going before the tournement. This final week I check the poker atlas and head across town through traffic just to be told there is no open tournement today . He told me its available on the website I said where and he didnt even know specifically where to find that info on the site total joke. I'll stick to talking stick and the poker arena. Much more poker oriented. If you wanna lose money on loud slots. Go here. I wont be back :) too far
