You know I will just be honest and straightforward here. I know I ve been here once or twice but I just can t completely remember when. Either way as with most casinos on the reservations there is fun stuff to look at even if you were not a gambler. There are also some great dining experiences to be had at these places.

My favorite place to play Bingo !! I won $ 800 dollars there last week end !

Such a great atmosphere here- great staff and well priced quality buffet.

Went to eat to buffet with family, wife, friend ad 3 children, 4, 5 and 8. For adults the price is 17.99 -5 with fortune club card and full price for children's who barely touch the food.

Its alrite... Could be more live tho... As in music...

Fort McDowell Casino & Hotel is on the Beeline Hwy #87, just east of Fountain Hills. A new casino is being built as I write. Expanding to serve more players, with new slot machines & gaming tables. The hotel is going thru their own renovation also. Starting with a name change, the We Ko Pa Resort & Conference Center. I've stayed at the resort many times. Every room is clean & fresh, each having comfy beds, well appointed bathrooms & HD TV's that work! Love the pool area. Its ALWAYS CLEAN. Bright clean pool towels are ready for you. With plenty of lounges, tables chairs & umbrellas, lots of shade. 2 Jacuzzis & hotel bar for pool time. You cant go wrong at the We Ko Pa Resort for your next event, be it family or work! Maybe even a weekend getaway.

Lots of penny machines to choose from. Like the non smoking section they offer to play in. They even have those crane games where you can try and get a toy.

Had not been in a long time... the slots were very loose... the time of day might make the difference between 10a to 2pm.

Went to play free late night bingo on Saturday night. It starts at 11:30pm, we were a few minutes late, arrived 11:40pm. The cashier didn't tell us much or try to upsell other than the games that were not included in our "packs". This was good & bad. Especially knowing it was our first time attending, I feel like they should have told us a little more info. I wished she would have told us that we could've purchased $12 worth of stuff and been at level 2. That would have made things more exciting as the payouts were much more for L2.

As we settled into our seats, we were checking over the menu that was laying on our table. We were picking things out to share, then I turn to look and see tat they are putting chairs up in the food area and told my guest that I think we missed out. They were bummed, but we had asked if there was any other eateries and were told that there was one, a deli type spot in the casino. So we figured during intermission or after the games that we woud go check that out. During intermission, we looked up that "deli" menu. There are literally 2 sandwich options and pizzas. Disappointed, we finished playing the bingo games, did our free $10 slot plays, and played a few rounds of electronic roulette. Bingo was an incredibly boring bust (hate playing for $50 per game when I could have paid a few bucks more to have shots at $200 per. They do not offer many option for your "$10 free play", boring slots. Roulette, I won a bit, but we didn't stay long and likely wouldn't go back. Its a drive and was pretty lackluster for the casinos out here. But it was better than sitting home. Maybe going again, but being better prepared would make for a better time. We just expected a bit more after visiting other casinos in the area.

Smoky, dark, dreary with mediocre food. I still don't understand the draw of a casino especially on a beautiful day.

Good location and plenty of parking I ll give them that. My issue is if your going to have a casino at least make it fun. I played and lost so fast that I got whiplash. I mean at least give everyone a chance to win something. The buffet needs a cook who knows what he is doing. The food is not bad just lacks any flavor or pride

Nice place to visit. Food was delicious. Smoke was heavy.

A woman lost her ticket and claimed a black lady took it. They called the police instead of telling woman - they can not recover lost items unless turmed in. The ticket was never found- so I wonder was the lady telling the truth or was it a story she went home with as a reason for gambling rent money?

Old place but more table games than I expected. No live keno :(

Always love this casino the employees have top notch customer service

The resort is very new and clean. The view is serene. Desert landscape with cactus and mountain views from all sides of the resort. Close travel to Scottsdale. Great place to stay if you are looking to stay just outside the city.

The rooms were nice. Bathrooms have excellent water pressure and modern decor/fixtures.

Definitely will stay here again. The only note is that the free steak and egg breakfast (with Living Social coupon) is very difficult to redeem. They make you sign up for a Casino card...had to go to three different places to get my voucher.

A classic casino, has been there since I can remember and it's still one of the nicest ones I've been to. All the people who worked there were super friendly and helpful. It was also nice to get out of the city and be in the middle of nowhere, while leaving we saw wild horses at the front of the property, very cool.

I had an awesome time. Won over $200 playing 50cents. Not too bad. I always win when I'm here.

Always good for quick spin on the roulette wheel on your way home from the mountains !!!!

They will not allow backpacks into the casino. Even after I explained to them I took a car service so i had no place to store it and offering to let them completely search it they did nothing to help me.

They do not make this clear on any part of their website either.

Also they have no rule against a purse but will prohibit backpacks.

We had such a great time, the band was good and hospitality was on point.

I went to see the new Casino it was nice and clean but i lost $300 . all i got was a free t-shirt

Nice Casino. Won the first 2 weekends I was there but the last 2 lost. Gotta make a come back. They need more drink servers. Someone could die of thirst being up in there for hours at a time.

Great place and great customer service. Kind of out for a few miles from anything so make sure to have a rental car.

Great place to have fun good entertainment. Good food especially the breakfast specials. Green chili is especially great as well as their ice cream.

Casino is nice, although the crab legs were very dry....not good

They just don't have any good machines and they don't pay very much on the rare occasion you win.

Love bingo, but this is also our favorite casino. Never visited the buffet or restaurants though.

Love that it has a lot of older slot machines but one look around and it looks like the average aged for guess should be 65 plus I love my older people but it makes you feel a little out of place

Always have fun here. The pool is nice and big. I was happy to see they were enforcing masks and social distancing. Will definitely be back.

Wow This Casino Is A Money Stealer....Lost $250.00 Less Then 4 Hours. Was Not Max Betting And Still Did Not Hit A Bonus Or Win More Than $8.00 WTF?!?!? Those Who "ARE" Winning Are Betting Max Bet Or A Dollar Something A Spin, Not Worth It. The Only Time You See Or Hear Someone Winning Jackpots Are Those In The High Limit Room. Lucky Them. They're Taking Your Whole $$$ Because They're Putting It Up For Their New Casino Coming Next Year. So If I Were You I'll Wait Next Year To Come Back And Play, Hopefully It'll Be 10 Times Better Than This 1.

Night mornings during the week day it ain't so crowded and you can pick from the machines instead of waiting for them

Two different kinds of atmospheres one for eating and one for reading books

As someone who has frequently visited this casino, long before the covid pandemic. I have never had any issues in this place. Until tonight. I wore my mask into the casino as requested, for every guest. But not long after I sat down at the machine I was playing, a fellow patron sat at the machine next to me. it wasn't until they removed their mask and began coughing and sneezing everywhere (without at least covering their mouth) I became agitated. My fiance tried to flag down a slot tech to rectify this situation quietly and peacefully, she was told that they would be watching and that was all they could do. Finally, a presence was made by other slot techs and a floor host. To my surprise they did not confront nor attempt to fix the issue. Instead, I was told that I had to take my mask off and on, any time I wanted to have a cigarette, while the patron who was blatantly coughing and sneezing everywhere without their mask was treated as if they had done nothing wrong. If I am to have to remove and replace my mask with each drag from my cigarette, I expect that this be enforced with every casino patron, and if not, I have been singled out and I will be contacting my lawyer.

Fort McDowell has really good deep stack tourments for the price. But could live with out the smoke.

The dealers are friendly and the games are fun. The dealers help you if you don't understand the game.

Older slots, great atmosphere, good food, cold beer. What more can you ask for?

It's a casino. Not much to offer if you don't gamble.

The casino is kinda old and needs a upgrade , which they will complete within the upcoming 2020 year. I ate at Cafe 48 and had the short rib chilli, all I can say for $6 it was very good and hearty. My only negative would be the corn bread which I found kinda bland(a little more salt). I'll go again and try more items off the menu..but that chilli might just be my go to lol.

We loved our stay here. But... The beds are hard. And the lady at the pool in the morning time needs to chill out. My son left to the pool minutes before us he is 16 a tall boy practically a man made a big deal about having an adult present. I get it. But he said she made him feel like an idiot.

When i first stzrted. Going here it was to play bingo and at firdt nothing then i won twice in one night. But never again .and we would go. 3 times a week if not more but noticed alot of the same people would win and win more then one time a day one night the same women won 5 times a other said she won 8 times .make you wonder being you have to use a players card to play so it is tracked and tthey no how muxh you spend they pick the winners. New years eve you had to spend wrll over $100 to play. Several of the people we went with being a group of 6. Spent $150 plus and one spent over 200$ and not one winner nor did anyone around us. So ofter 6. Months pluss of. 3 times a week or better we stoped going. To play bingo have been going for slots and spending 500. And use our card and try without. Won a fee times but then it was like you hit you limit now nothing.

We enjoyed bingo slots and food. The staff was very helpful on phone and while there. We'll go back. We're glad you can smoke in bingo too.
