Very crowded but that's not a problem as There is always a spot to play at.

I have really had nothing but negative experiences here. I was accidentally served alcohol when I have never drank in my life, left a check in an envelope at the front desk for a client who was staying in the hotel only to have my client go to the front desk to retrieve it and have the lady there say I must be a liar, the construction makes the place pure chaos. The machines here are mostly garbage, probably reject machines from the casinos people actually go to. Got 2 stars because as terrible as it is, it is still better then Casino Arizona and at least they have a players reward program that is good for more then turquoise at the gift shop (like casino arizona) if you are going to drive this far I would recommend harrahs unless huge fountains are like the coolest thing. Pictures included are of an Indian gambling with a talking stick. Things like this do make it better than casino Arizona and Gila river casinos (yes all 5 casinos between those two chains)

Tightest slots in Arizona. Been visiting off and on for years now and never win anything over $50. I saw the attendant in a slot menu and that machine's payback percentage was set to the state minimum of 85%. And it was a 5c machine. No thank you! Vegas is my new local.

Probably our favorite casino in the Phoenix area and the drive out there during the evening Just Before Sunset is beautiful we always have a good time at this casino

I've been going here for years. There's nothing special about it, but I like it. I've become friendly with the usuals throughout the years. I think I'm a regular now myself.

Too cold and a hard smell of cigarette. Have a very good buffet for lunch.

We had fun at the Fort....but! We are in a pandemic right now. Guests and employees are required to wear masks. All employees were in compliance. Guests not so much. Some wore them properly, many wore them over their mouths only. Then there were those that bent the rules, wearing them over their chins or around their necks. Kind of ruined the evening

Fort McDowell is Fort cDowell it sort of doesn't change. Dark, drab, and staff needs to be friendlier

Great casino gigantic bingo room and small non smoking area several food venues and great mix of the newest slot machines

Stayed here back in October 2016, will always remember my awesome experience - friendly staff, clean room, awesome view from the pool/room

I usually come here once or twice a week.They seem to have the most penny machines.The food is good if your hungry

There are all these negative reviews about the smoke in the casino. It's a casino what do you expect. They have great service with free coffee and drinks. If you play smart and don't stay on one machine you can do very well. Once you've earned enough over what you originally bought then stop playing. That's all there is to it! This is a great place to be entertained and have fun.

Awesome casino and I would have spent a lot more time there had it if not been so horribly smokey I wish they would make it non-smoking or at least have only certain designated areas for smokers

Very friendly staff. But, it's a bit too smokey there for me.

Its good as far as casino's go in Az. The parking isn't great. There isn't any security outside and no lighting to speak of in the parking lot. Theives could have a free for all on cars if they wanted and the casino would not know any different until someone brought it to their attention

I play poker machines, I really enjoy the double double machines as do alot of the people I talk with while playing, hope they keep them as well as other older machines .. maybe designate an area as old school.

Smoke Free and a Very nice Casino, have to try the Ember Steakhouse & Buffet...the Resort is also nice with a Outdoor Pool.

It was ok. They have a weird way of getting your free spins. It's hard to understand. But I would go back again

At this place you dont have to worry about the cops praying on you like at Casino Az.

NO RV PARKING ALLOWED! Although we've overnighted here in years past, this evening we were told that parking overnight is no longer permitted.

It was great! My lady n I limited ourselves to only 40 bux each, while she lost it all I could only keep asking her why the machine wouldn't stop giving me money, and how could I get it to stop giving me so much money lol. Needless to say it was only good for one of us lol.

Last month was my very first time to ever gamble & I did very well for a 50 yr old gambler .lol Exceptional courtesy from all Staffing .Plan on coming back soon . If donot win it's okay least it's a fun thing to enjoy :)

We were really disappointed in their crab leg and prime rib buffet this last visit. Sorry to say we won't be returning in the future. The Manger did try to make it right but after second crab leg came back still raw we left not even waiting for our refund.

The whole place feels outdated. Their bingo hall could use some serious upgrades. The boards especially. No outside food is allowed.

been going there for years and I'm lucky if I've won twice. My husband had been going with me for about 5years and has never experienced a win. I feel some how it set up for those that spend a lot of money and going constantly and if your not that person your chances are very slim to win which is very disappointing and sad. We go with hopes to win we work hard for our money so we don't have much to spend but every now and then is nice and just want to win every now and then. I feel it set up by tracking every one spending and that's sad.It takes a lot to budget throughout time in order for us to go and spend our hard working money with hopes to win. I realize that's the chance we take. We wi keep trying and maybe soon win...!

I do not ever plan on going back to Fort McDowell the people were rude and half of them didn't seem to know what their job was

I used to eat at the buffet and the food was ok at best. I stopped going to the buffet. There is not a big selection of food there. When we go now we we eat at the Silver spoon. Very reasonable prices so you have more money to gamble with.

Good casino, will be nice to see the expansion. The hotel is very nice and room was impressive.
