Great time but didn't win anything! Very tight machines but it was great getting out and enjoying playing and Getting Something To Eat...

Just ok nothing special about place. Expected more from buffet for price

Terrible, system was down. Took 30 minutes to be paid out.

Fun place to go nice variety of slot machines to play and card tables also

Non smoking is a plus!
Clean air and not the sight of dirty ash trays or ashes that some people randomly flick on the floor.
Pleasent floor staff.
Would prefer more video poker machines.

I was expecting a lot more tables and then slot machines.

Took advantage of the 16.95 buffet on sunday 02/'10, it was about 4pm, and the buffet had barely opened. The prime rib was tough and mostly fat, the deserts were dry and stiff (bread pudding was so hard you could not scoop it with a spoon), and the rest of the deserts appeared to have been left over from a previous day. Overall way off the mark, shouldn't someone be walking the set up before it is offered to the public. Last time I ate there it was great, what happened?
Side note to this post: The following day I got a phone call from Gary, who identified himself as the Manager of the restaurant I ate at, he was genuinely concerned about my experience. I found him to be sincere and genuinely concerned that his customers were satisfied. Based upon this call I am changing my post from 1 to 3 stars. I will try the restaurant again, because Gary did such a professional job in responding to my post.

One of our favorite places. Have a few favorite slots. It is always busy and has huge bingo area. Lots of monthly promotions.

It's ok. I NEVER win here but I do enjoy their drinks and calm chill atmosphere...and to me that's BETTER than winning on the slots!

No fun. The chance to win anything substantial is slim to none. Top heavy with mgmt. Even the buffet is overpriced and of mediocre offerings.

My sister and I were heading to Showlow on a weekend and the road was so backed up so we turned around and went to the casino and we had the best time of our lives there.....

Nice place but limited slots for non-smokers. Won a jackpot 30 minutes after I got there!!

A bit off the beaten path and it definitely needs an update both the casino and sone of the staff. Security for starters should be reavaluated.

Ate at the Red Rock buffet. Monday is seniors night. Food was good for the price.

Love this place awesome service, beautiful pool, ice cold rooms. Always stay here before another place when we come to town, even if it's a little extra drive!

Waited 25 minutes to get seated .Host finally brought us water server took order took 45 minutes to get food had to ask host for drink refill was there over hour and food was just ok will not go back

Played $5 won playing slots. Got $5 off prime rib dinner. Played late night bingo all books on machine$5. Was fun food delicious enjoyed my nigh 5 out.

We've been to the Fort McDowell Casino numerous times over the past decade that we've been snowbirding in Arizona and camping at McDowell Mountain Regional Park. We especially like to go when they are featuring crab on the menu at the buffet. What I've found is that if you go early, the first crab served is moist and tasty, but subsequent offerings are considerably less so. I do appreciate that they now have servers who dole out a maximum of 2 crabs at a time to thwart those who load up their plates with 5 or 6 crabs and end up wasting 2 to 4 because they've cooled down too much, or whatever their excuse might be. As for the casino itself - not as much fun as Vegas by any stretch. The payouts are dismal and the cigarette smoke (and I'm a smoker) is absolutely, flippin' horrendous, to the point that I'm pretty much done after about 15 minutes of play.

You may not win big, I'm not very lucky, but I won. They have special buffets every night is different. Food is good. Not typical your buffet. Clean and friendly .

Tight slots but awesome buffets on the weekends, complete with awesome personnel...

I hope with the new casino comes new employees. Lose the security guards with terrible tempers that run over innocent people when they throw hissy fits.

Had a great time. I gave them all my money but the boyfriend for it all back plus some. A very enjoyable night.

Pleasantly surprised, was worried that it would be crowded but it wasn't bad at all. Cafe was quiet and the food was good.

This place is the best place for bingo and all you can eat crab legs. I can t wait until the buffet is back open. During bingo I ve won $50 and $800. It can be very competitive so I recommend maybe a matinee session.

Out of the way several machines played very well others not casino just not as many people there is you would expect

Got into a wreck outside the casino. There are three traffic lights really messing up the highway flow because of this place. I didn't go into the casino, but Google asked for my rating and I had a decidedly one star experience driving by it.

Excellent place to visit as long as it is not Crowded. Lots of fun.

Needs some work! So many machines won't take tickets, but grabs bills! A LOT of the time you have to enter your card several times before the machine will except it and times it will never except it! The perks are awful! We have gone out an average of twice a week for several months, spend around $200 a trip. My husband gets $5 a week from the casino & I get nothing!! So not very happy with Fort McDowell & they don't seem to care!

One of the better places to be to play low limit blackjack and poker tournaments

This Casino is a Landmark. Ventilation could be better. Nice smaller place. If you experience a problem, they are pretty quick to deal with it. Hosting Great Events brings us back here to visit, even as locals.

I frequent "The Fort" quite a lot. Always enjoy my time there. All the employees and management are always nice and greet you with a smile. A nice get away from the daily stresses of everyday life.
