Fort Garry Brewing Reviews

The most average beers, nothing stands out, it's just slightly above generic beer quality, and is served almost everywhere in Winnipeg. Not impressed at all. I went against my judgement and wanted to try your Portage and Main IPA, Friday Knights and Delta 9 legal lager, disappointed again. Like that's embarrassing that I try 3 beers, the american pale ale tastes like someone dry hopped a Budweiser, the Portage and Main tasted like Alexander Keiths with more hops, and the Delta 9 beer was just gimmicky, so you made a beer with hemp, maybe make one with flavour.

Love that this brewery is making a solid effort to keep up with the local craft brews since their amalgamation in 2007. Their flagship and seasonal crafts are well-balanced. Expect great things out of this brewery in coming years.

Huge fan of everything fort Garry puts out but the seasonal happy jack pumpkin ale is absolutely unbelievable

I have never "not finished" a Fort Garry Beer. I have to say the Black Berry cider wasn't my thing, but I finished it. Absolutely love the ESB. Balance and consistency are hallmarks od the brand. Fort Garry Dark is a staple. Is just what it says on the can - mild english ale. Got me into beer way back in 2001.

I have tried almost every one of Fort Garry Brewings beers/ciders, and have not found any of them near palatable. I just made my last effort trying the Black Cherry cider, and after two of us each took a couple sips, dumped the rest down the drain. I have never tasted anything so putrid in my life.

Disappointed in what used to be one of my favourite breweries in Winnipeg. We had a couple cans of the recalled Dark from earlier this summer, completely undrinkable, hence the recall. And now, I crack open a Pale and it is flat. As was the can I tried last night. Quality control has really dropped.
