They do such great work here! The staff is very caring and compassionate. My sister in law adopted her kitty from them five years ago, and she couldn t be happier with her furry best friend. She feels good about helping rescue a kitty that was in need as well. Thanks for all that you do to help cats and kittens!

We took our puppy in for her 12-week shots, only to leave getting half of the shots that we needed because "she looked like she was younger" than she was, despite us stating that she was the runt and that we had known her since she was born, with previous vet records stating her birth date, and her upcoming shot schedule. Overall disappointing.

We had adopted a cat from a pet store in the area, it was undisclosed to us that she was not friendly with males and she attacked my children and husband for just walking. The Fort Collins Cat Rescue gladly took her and help place our family with a cat that would work for us all. I was so thankful for their kindness and help!!!! It was great to see they took the time to know each of the felines personalities in their possession to better assist people with their new kitties!!!! <3 thank you so much!

Compassionate volunteers that want to help cats find a home.
Beware - if you schedule an appointment a $10 deposit is required. What the do not inform you of is that it is NON-refundable. I cancelled my appointment over a month in advance and asked if I would receive my deposit back. I was told it could be applied to a future service, or I could donate it. That is very poor customer service. I will never take any of my animals to the Cat Rescue. $10 may not be much money to many these days, but it certainly is when you are forced unwillingly to give it as a donation.
Such a wonderful adoption facility! We adopted our sweet kitten and so thankful for their help. They guided us through the process, went over her medical records and suggested low cost vets to go to. Thank you for giving us our little bundle of joy!
Not sure what some of the negative posts were talking about!. I have had nothing but positive and wonderful experiences with the Cat Rescue. I had a neighbor leave 6 wild cats when they moved and they found their way to our barn. The rescue helped me trap, neuter, vaccinate and release all six for less than $100. They also helped me when I bottle fed two litters from those wild cats and then helped with neutering before the kittens found forever homes. I could not have done that with my vet and the animals would have been trapped and euthanized otherwise. I also have had the pleasure of them vaccinating and neutering two other cats that we rescued and adopted for our home. I never waited for more that 40 minutes at one of their clinics which is a shorter wait than you'll find at a vet clinic. I have always found the staff to be helpful and cheerful when I have visited. The kitty rooms are clean and organized and the cages are always of ample size. The staff are volunteers and give of themselves to be there. Take a negative post for what its worth...There are some people out there that just cant be pleased. I recommend the Fort Collins Cat Rescue for their clinics or if you are looking to adopt. Check em' out..
Awesome place to take your little ones. I love how they call yo confirm your appoitments, so attentive as you walk in, explain to the smallest detail, always welling to listen to all your questions and they call you after to make sure everything is well. Such s great place. I will be coming back EVEN if I am about 2 hours away. Total worth your trip!

I adopted my wonderful dog from here back when they were just Animal House; both the cat and dog shelters are clean, the staff truly care about the animals, and they are overall amazing places to find a new furry friend!

Had our dogs vaccinated, it was quite a wait but the prices make it well worth it.
The staff here are amazing and very thoughtful. I can tell how much they care about animals and they know you're stressed out as it is. Our pet's care is always outstanding and in spite of COVID, they have it all worked out and handle everything with professionalism.

Dr. Cheryl Kolus is wonderful. She came and did a behavior consult with our family for our reactive dog and we were so pleased. Even our pup warmed up to her, which is not easy for him to do! She took our concerns and issues seriously and offered great advice and tips on how to help our pup in stressful situations. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing assistance with their pets behavior needs.
I love this place I found several abandoned kitty cats in a rental I was moving into I took them to this place and they promised me that they would be rehomed and not put to sleep I really like that idea not that you should take every one that you find there we have no other choice maybe they have some room it's located off of East Mulberry and Timberline remember you have to see if they have room there they don't always accept them because they don't have room
I have had my own kitties taken care of here, referred friends and family to them for spay/ neuter as well as dogs. I've had friends whom I've referred to adopt here also. Every experience was wonderful and clearly a place where you can trust that your animal will be handled with love and respect. Thank you for the services you offer to our community, sliding scale or free, you all do a very selfless thing!!!

We had such a wonderful experience adopting our first dog from Animal Friends Alliance. This rescue was recommended to us by my boss. We had stopped by the shelter a few times and attended a couple of the adoption events. At the last event we attended, none of the puppies really fit what we were looking for so we talked with Molly. After listening to us she highly recommended we meet Arrow, a nervous 7 month old mix. She felt she could be a good fit for us and us for her. Long story short, we set up a meeting with the foster mom and we decided she was the right dog for us! We're helping her with her fear of meeting new people and working hard on her training which has boosted her confidence. She's quirky and cuddly and makes us laugh. We absolutely love her! Thanks so much Molly and Kellen for making our adoption a great experience and for giving Arrow a chance at a happy life!

Such a wonderful place! Easy access to the cats needing homes so you can easily pickout one to take to a forever home. They also provide lots of guidance, info, and a little bag of food and certificate for first vet visit when you adopt your cat.
We ended up in a bind with 2 cats having a total of 14 kittens and not being able to find homes fast enough. We needed to get them all fixed before chancing more kittens. Then we found the cat rescue. They were able to help with the spay and neuter. We were able to find the kittens all very happy homes after that. None of them went to the rescue. I am so glad they were able to help us out, even with our dogs. This place is amazing. Thank you guys. You were life savers for us.
They did a great job spaying my puppy. Very affordable! They called a few days later to see how my pup was doing. The staff is wonderful and you can tell they really care about the cats and dogs that come in. They give you everything you need for after the spay. I will be recommending my friends to go here to get there pet fixed.
Very nice people here. Our puppy did well with her shots. Only thing I'd change is the online estimate of wait times. It says expect an hour or so- we were there for three.
Our dog went in to get neutered and came back out with kennel cough. My dog dosent leave the house and exactly 8 days later he gets kennel cough now all my 3 dogs are exposed that are at home. Tried to reason with them for medicine with them denying. Talked to the vet and they told me it's very common from this place and all week they have had them from here. So now I'm out another $200 for vet visits and medications.

Went for the discount shots day. Was great, the staff were excellent and they had systems in place so everything went smoothly. We ended up waiting about an hour and a half after we showed up. But once it was our turn both our animals were out in about 10 minutes. Fair prices, great people, and you can help support an important institution in Fort Collins.
We got our dog fixed and shots there recently. They were so kind and professional and did a great job! Very affordable. We just didn't have the big bucks to go to a regular vet! I would totally recommend them! Very friendly people!!
The most wonderful place to buy, rescue a cat from, and the most wonderful place to spay or nueter your cat (and yes, Shyla of course they use sedation for surgery!!!), & the the most wonderful place if you have to surrender your cat, kitten, this is the place to do it! They take volunteers. Visitors are always welcome to play with and visit the cats!!
Truly a terrible organization. I was fostering a dog and when I decided to adopted him it turned out that someone had signed up to see him already. Rather then giving me first choice they chose for the people that signed up to see him to get first choice even though they had never met him. After being persistent about keeping him they threatened to get the police involved. I cannot stress enough how much this broke my heart and how little they cared. I couldn't even meet the people wanting to adopt him to have any clue if he was going to a good home. These people are monsters.

Got both of my dogs spayed here and everything was perfect. One of my pups has a tattoo that cut deeper in the skin than it should have. I can understand if there was rush, but they should have been more careful. Tattoo got infected and was treated by my vet.
