I have been here before and there were diaramas that gave a good impression of the war years, I wanted to show this to my grandchildren but it has become a static exhibition of photos.

Nice fort the nearby restaurant has really not been a pleasant experience for us. There was no lunch, only an old tasting sandwich and cold coffee, the service was a shame because it looks nice.

Great

5 stars for the game leaders because the game in Fort 1881 was a lot of fun. There are also several options to do but we did the trivia game. The food was excellent except for the main course. Of course corona proof!

Beautiful location for a party !! But especially the staff makes it a great party. The food is exceptionally good, cheerful and spontaneous employees combined with a fun game program in the historic fort makes this an excellent location for a staff outing / company party / family day etc.

Nice location for events within walking distance of the beach / train. Tour of the museum is fantastic, staff both permanent and voluntary work with heart and soul to keep the fort running. A lot of maintenance which is done by volunteers. It would be a shame if such a cultural heritage perishes. Majesty Wilhelmina held the last meetings here before she went to England. In short, definitely worth it, to visit or hold an event.

A defense fort in Hoek van Holland. This also belonged to the Atlantik Wall during the 1940s and '45s. For years you drive past it until you get off and see what a huge structure it is, sunk into the ground. Go in there anyway when it is opened. In addition, a nice recreation with a large and cozy terrace.

wow, what a flop. All gone again and dangerous for children, such as half-uncovered wells and loose open wires. And the presentation of nude photos is also not appreciated. Fortunately Ina's fries stall was more pleasant.

Beautiful historic building with impressive exhibition. Made entirely sustainable to be able to realize the operation free of subsidy.

Both the tour and the catering during our party was worth it.

We were here for the Fort Reaction team building event, which in itself is a fun activity at a special location. The space where this was done, one of the old corridors of the fort, is in my opinion tight and very noisy. We were also disturbed a few times by walking tourists (or did we disturb them?). The museum in the fort is clearly in need of renewal, but it does provide a good historical picture of the fort.
