Nice for the children nice volunteer who has really hard for his work
A piece of history to consider. Parties can be organized here. Get a nice cup of coffee. Friendly people ... and a multi-functional piece of history.
Very nice location for everything.
For weddings, company outings, gatherings of small to large, birthday, meetings and much more.
Everything that comes with this can be arranged here.
Top!!
I have been here before and there were diaramas that gave a good impression of the war years, I wanted to show this to my grandchildren but it has become a static exhibition of photos.
The lady at the checkout clearly didn't feel like it today. The fort is nice. Unfortunately, few authentic reliquaries
Really interesting to see. Also cinema room. Lots of photos.
Great place to visit for all military and history enthusiasts.
Atmospheric location with a music event twice a month.
Very interesting to see the old history in this fort. It is bigger than you might think, worth a visit
Super nice tent, were there when the band played Frickin Man. Nice staff!
Nice fort the nearby restaurant has really not been a pleasant experience for us. There was no lunch, only an old tasting sandwich and cold coffee, the service was a shame because it looks nice.
Super fun and educational, especially for children. The scavenger hunt makes it extra fun for the kids. Friendly employees too!
Beautiful location and very welcoming. Particularly suitable for a tour of the fort, but also for a drink and a snack, wedding, meeting ....... you name it.
5 stars for the game leaders because the game in Fort 1881 was a lot of fun. There are also several options to do but we did the trivia game. The food was excellent except for the main course. Of course corona proof!
Beautiful location for a party !! But especially the staff makes it a great party. The food is exceptionally good, cheerful and spontaneous employees combined with a fun game program in the historic fort makes this an excellent location for a staff outing / company party / family day etc.
Good service, fun for children and always an exciting experience with regard to a full evening program or tour through the corridors of the fort.
A very interesting tour through the history of the Netherlands before and during the Second World War.
Nice location for parties and parties. The music afternoons on Sundays are very pleasant, highly recommended.
Interesting bunker with a stormy history. The operator wants to continue to develop location.
A place that recalls the second war. Over the North Sea in Holland.
Had a nice party at this nice location.
The service was very friendly and allerd
Nice beer by the way (Hertog Jan)
Had a teambuilding event with our team. It was great fun and the food was amazing. Absolutely great!
I was born in the corner and played a lot of fun back there
Nice location for events within walking distance of the beach / train. Tour of the museum is fantastic, staff both permanent and voluntary work with heart and soul to keep the fort running. A lot of maintenance which is done by volunteers. It would be a shame if such a cultural heritage perishes. Majesty Wilhelmina held the last meetings here before she went to England. In short, definitely worth it, to visit or hold an event.
If you are in the vicinity, definitely worth a visit.
A defense fort in Hoek van Holland. This also belonged to the Atlantik Wall during the 1940s and '45s. For years you drive past it until you get off and see what a huge structure it is, sunk into the ground. Go in there anyway when it is opened. In addition, a nice recreation with a large and cozy terrace.
wow, what a flop. All gone again and dangerous for children, such as half-uncovered wells and loose open wires. And the presentation of nude photos is also not appreciated. Fortunately Ina's fries stall was more pleasant.
Worthless organization. Driven to HvH with 2 sons via a youth holiday passport full of enthusiasm. Website indicated to be open on weekdays 930-1400. Does not appear that way. to be ... Stand at the door and after 7 More
. interesting fort, good restaurant suitable for groups
A bit of everything done for the show. Not authentic.
Beautiful historic building with impressive exhibition. Made entirely sustainable to be able to realize the operation free of subsidy.
Both the tour and the catering during our party was worth it.
Nice location for parties and parties.
And is now well maintained
Super fun and educational, especially for children. The scavenger hunt makes it extra fun for the kids. Friendly employees too!
Interesting location. Good explanation about the building. Recommended.

Enjoyed delicious Easter brunch, nice historic location. Suitable for couples, but also for large groups.
I have to come back to my earlier review. We were eventually well received, had a wonderful lunch and a pleasant afternoon! Was worth repeating!

Beautiful fort, nice to visit. Every time you come, it is a bit more beautiful.
A nice place and nice welcome we will definitely be back
We were here for the Fort Reaction team building event, which in itself is a fun activity at a special location. The space where this was done, one of the old corridors of the fort, is in my opinion tight and very noisy. We were also disturbed a few times by walking tourists (or did we disturb them?). The museum in the fort is clearly in need of renewal, but it does provide a good historical picture of the fort.
People have done their best to make it easily accessible, but if you are in a wheelchair, make sure you do not go alone
Cozy and hospitable tent with very good bands on Sunday afternoon.
Nice fort, nice to get a tour there. Well worth a visit
Cannons were fake and there was little on display, but it was nice to have seen part of it
