I have been to the emergency room and the professionalism and preparation of the general practitioners is at a very low level. I strongly advise against it as I have been waiting for a visit for 6 hours, from 8 pm to 2 am, sitting in the middle of a room full of patients with a fever of 39 and a throat infection, and then being examined by a rude and boastful doctor generic totally without skills and make me say "he has to go to an ENT the following day".
Nobody will take care of you.

Many thanks to all the doctors who treated me during my hospitalization. They were very helpful and professional, plus I always found them clean and the meals were adequate.

I was hospitalized in the orthopedics department of the Poliambulanza di Brescia, from 27/10 to 31/10. Ward full of obs and nurses and trainees. The work of the oss is very good, they are very helpful and patient. Trainees, if there is a complication with the drip, for example if blood comes out of the needle placed in the vein and ends up in the tube, they are not able to solve the problem on their own but this can be accepted. What is unacceptable is that they cannot find a vein (especially in women) where they can thread the needle but despite their uncertainty, despite the trembling in their hands, and despite their inability, they try the same, mistaking vein and touching some valve after having made a mistake the first and second time they call a nurse and even the latter cannot find a suitable vein for the needle, at this point they give up and say "they will put it in the operating room" and in the operating room they succeed find the vein in less than 30 seconds by threading the needle gently and painlessly.
Now let's talk about nurses (I, personally, have found this thing only in women) they don't know what sensitivity, humanity and patience are. Many times they snort when asked for something, they make fun of your pain by making jokes that are not very nice, they explain things in a very authoritative way even raising the tone of their voice, they forget that the patient must have physiotherapy and when you do it you notice they make up excuses who are neither in heaven nor on earth, sometimes they get angry if you call them often (and if I don't call them when I need help, who should I call? It's their job and consequently they have to do it in the best way)
In this ward, the humility, solidarity and skills of these people, especially the nurses S. and M.
Mine was a very negative experience and it is a shame because the orthopedic doctors of the Poliambulanza Foundation in Brescia are excellent but unfortunately the staff on the ward are not at all.

I was hospitalized in the Medicine2 department for eleven days. Although alas hospital life is not pink and flowers I must say that I had a great time with the staff, nurses, OSS, practitioners and doctors (especially Dr. Calvi)

Geriatric ward on the second floor getting worse. In 5 years 5 hospitalizations for my dad and the last 3 have been really bad. Lack of staff, often arrogant and not very passionate. Always in a rush and never an explanation of the situation of the patient. In the last 2 close admissions, 90 minutes have passed since the IV change ended. If an elderly person needs to go to the bathroom, he also waits 2 hours, bad.

I have always used the facility with happy results. However, I must point out something that I did not like. At a checkup (for a fee) with an Otorino doctor, I was asked for tests before prescribing the therapy. After carrying out the tests, when I took them to consult the requesting doctor, I was asked to pay for a second service. Nobody had told me before that I would have to pay TWO visits.

If it is true that perfection does not exist at Poliambulanza, it is bordered.
