Fogg n' Suds Review

Nice place and open late. Well order shave to be in by 11:45. We were here late so didn't see the crowd but the place is big and lots of TV screens. Price seems reasonable and portions are normal.

The seafood penne we had was tasty but the shrimp were tiny dried shrimp I think. So couldn't really taste them. The sauce, muscles and salmon however was nicely cooked and not over done.

There is one TV that seems like it's a 120hz refresh rate. It looks nice compared to the other ones :-)

Good overall vibe not a ton of seating. Limited wine selection

Wings are great but services sucks... we are a big group so we must pay the 18%. Our server rushed us to order and did not give us any plates until we asked, given that the place is pretty empty.. so disappointed...

Swift service, great meal, cold cider.. can't ask for more.

Well the seafood penne, hot and spicy, wasn't what I expected. The waiter ranked it his top pick???. The ribs looked good but at a cost.

The food was good, although could use a few more spices. Huge portions! Kid friends and very accommodating to large groups.

Great cafe / restaurant where they serve good beer and where you can also eat well. It is advisable to book in the evening because it is usually very busy.

Buffet breakfast is fine. Fresh orange and apple juice, coffee. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns were warm but tasty. Yogurt cups with fruit was good. Reasonably priced.

Wings quality and size improved since they finished renovating the place. But occasionally I still get the 2nd round of wings smaller and a lower quality than the first round. If they can keep quality and size consistent, they deserve a 5 stars. Place is comfortable, and have multiple TVs to watch hockey and basketball.

It was my first time eating here, but definitely not going to be my last! Great live environment, excellent service and I was so impressed with the food! .. Recommend for sure! :)

Expanded craft beer selection. Decent food as well.

We ordered the hotcakes for the kids and it was served burnt.. The menu described it as 3 hotcakes served with bananas and whipped cream but we received only 2 hotcakes with no whipped cream and no bananas. Terribly disappointed by the food

Fogg 'n' Suds is a pretty good lunch option for us office drones working in the industrial park across the street. The few times I've been there, the food has been good, the staff has been friendly and the service has been quick. The burgers are always a good option. They have many types to choose from.

Good eat. Very comfy seats, not very crowded. Good location to spend time with friends.

Dont turn off the lights or you have drunk canadians heading out

I don't care for any establishment that charges an automatic gratuity. A gratuity is not an entitlement. Service and mannerism will get you a tip or lack thereof. That alone cost you at least a several hundred dollars last night. That's a minimum as there were 8 of us who ended up spending the better part of a 100 dollars each at a different establishment. Ever wonder why you only had 4 people in there at 830 on a Saturday night? Just saying.

3 guests and sever even forgot part of my order. In the weeds!!!!

One of my best memories of the time I lived in Richmond a couple of years ago. I just had to say that the food there is great, I still remember those curly fries (must try them!), along with the friendly staff. How many great hockey games have I watched there! It is a quiet place, but very fun and with a great vibe. I'd highly recommend it if you pass it by, or if you stay at the hotel nearby.

Great service but the pizza tasted worse than a $3 frozen pizza. The acoustics are particularly bad due to all the reflective surfaces making conversations uncomfortable if there is other loud groups present. Great place to have a local choir group perform though or for recording Phil Collins type drum solos.

Good food, good beer, good service. Definitely worth a try.

Awesome service, awesome food. Happy hour ends at 5pm though, which is not so nice considering most people are still on their way from work, but asides from that... it was wonderful.

Unimpressed this trip ! Bomber Pale Ale was excellent ,but three entrees were mediocre !

Friendly staff, great canadian burger lots of parking and televisions to watch any sporting events you would.

Joe, the waiter, was the best waiter we have had. He is not good at serving, but, was good with entertaining our kids with good trivia questions.

Very small wings. Found restaurant cold. Server was in training and was being well supervised.

We usually go here everytime when staying in one the local motels and flying out of Vancouver. Usually on Wednesday night with the wing special. Food and service OK.

I went for lunch there with my guy. We had the potatoes skins and Taco salad. Both were absolutely delicious. Carl our server was very efficient and personable. I'll definitely go back and highly recommend this restaurant

I love to eat here with my mom and friends, the food is always so good and i love the staff, they are very friendly and talkative. Since i have had several great experiences I am Planning on celebrating my 19th Birthday with family and friends at this location!

Had a caesar salad for dinner and my mother had a salad too.She found two long hairs in her salad when she was 3/4 done.It was very unappetizing to see the hairs plastered to the bowl.Please observe wearing hair nets!Or stop grooming in the kitchen.The waitress was thoughtful enough to take the charge off the bill.The salt and pepper chicken wings were OK with a slight freezer burn taste and there was no dipping sauce for them.The coconut prawns were OK but the meat was overcooked.Would not recommend this place for pub food.

Really good food.

Blackened chicken burger, salmon salad - yum. Would have given 5 stars for pub food if yam fries were slightly less dry (but still good). Waitress was awesome; even brought me a samples of the two beers I was interested in!

Was concerned with overall rating, but realized that two of the bad ratings are not actually about the food itself. Didn't personally witness bad management- hopefully the manager has improved worker relations.

Conclusion- really good food and service.

I ended up at Fog and Suds because it was the closest thing to work other than McDonald's and ended up having one the best lunches ever! I ordered the calimari to start and a beef dip as my main. The calimari was one of the best calimari I have ever had, they deep fry red bell peppers and jalapenos along side the squid and it is simply amazing. The beef dip was ok, on the side of good but that may be because I am still blown away by the calimari! Service was quick and friendly, food came very fast.

Would highly recommend. Server named Hannah was excellent

Horrible service, they charge you 20% extra if you go in a big group even though you sit in separate small groups.

The service is great and the food exceeds my expectations every time I visit this restaurant. A definite must visit if you're in the area and are looking for something to eat.

Mediocre, overpriced food. If you're hungry or want a drink theres a mcdonalds in the same parking lot as well as a liquor store. They also got my order wrong

The renos are bright and fresh...good service. The kids menu is limited but good...I had the lamb chops. Sadly they were tough and very fatty...the accompanying veggies were ok...stuffed twice potato was good. I have stayed here many times and always had a salmon salad which is divine. Will not have the lamb again..no discount paid full price for the meal.

Great food and service. No complains at all. It was full house on a Monday and food and service was flawless. Will surely come back again.

Servers are all pretty nice and friendly. I usually come here for Wings Wednesday, definitely recommend them for that.

LOVED IT HERE! First trip to Canada, no idea where to eat, stopped here on a whim and had the best experience price, food, and service wise! Highly recommend!

I visit about once a month. Decent service. Good beer. Small menu but I have never not had good food. Pretty typical sports bar atmosphere.

Very friendly service provided by Karina. sports bar has a child's menu. Huge selection of Beer. Food service was slow from the kitchen but the food was worth the wait.

Fogg and suds is the best damn restaurants in the city. Large variety of food to choose from at very decent prices. Great daily specials, friendly staff, and like I said an excellent menu. Their drink specials are amazing. And of course, what fogg and suds is known for, is there around the world selection of beers.

I worked here for 7 years 5 years ago and even though I worked there I never got tired of the food and Ill continue to go back for as long as I live!!!

Slow kitchen. Ok service. Food subpar. Not likely to come back unless I have to.

My girlfriend brought me here for my birthday lunch. We each brought our two kids so we were a crazy party of 4 kids and 2 adults. Our meals were freshly prepped and delicious! Even the kids' meals were better than most other establishments. Our server Ryan was really friendly and attentive. They have a separate seating area where no minors are allowed but FNS Richmond made us feel welcome! We had a really enjoyable meal! Thank you!

They also have a breakfast buffet (maybe because they are connected to the Holiday Inn) if you are early enough. We'll definitely be back.

The food is AMAZING

Fogg N' Suds still has a winning formula, with high quality pub fare and a large beer selection at reasonable prices. This location was recently renovated and has a very modern, clean aesthetic.

Place is okay. I gotta think most of its business comes from the attached hotel, as there doesn't really seem to be much of an attempt to make this unique or exciting. The food is okay and the beers and happy hour meus are alright, but for the same money there are better places that offer more.

What can I say. Group of 12. 18% tip. Server claimed that it was up to the management and he could not do anything about it. JUST TRY..... you could have got 20%

The bar is cozy for group. The wings are crispy and the ribs is great. Comeback for breakfast but are not as impressive.

Renoed recently. Used to be more of a sports bar but currently seems to be going through an identity crisis. Same menu, 10% of the TV's . Food is ok. Main advantage is it is walking distance from several large hotels. Not much else in the area.

Pretty decent food and renovations make it bright. Good selection from applies to entrees. Always known for good beer selection
