Great Coffee House. Best atmosphere to relax or do work at. Closes late which helps too. Staff is extremely friendly and cool to talk to. Also really great tea & coffee. No better spot in Long Island.

Chic, cute and cozy at the same time. Great place for entrepreneurs and students to get some work done. Can't say the coffee is anything special but can't wait for kombucha on tap!
Been waiting for the place to open up for a bit, drove by today to see it open! I walked in and thought the place was great, it had a great feel to it. I ended up getting a Mocha, it was awesome, it was made with homemade chocolate! The guy that made it was super friendly and polite. Very happy to stop there on my way to work from now on!
Best coffee on long island. The owner is passionate and cares about everything he does, the team is fun and talented. I wouldn't buy my coffee anywhere else
Amazing coffee! All the reviews I read about the mocha were spot on. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff friendly and helpful and oh the coffee! Go enjoy the back patio or chill on the couch. It is nice to have an unpretentious coffee shop that appreciates quality beans and roasts.
This little cafe if warm and inviting. Soft music is playing from a chosen vinyl album, the barista was pleasant, and the coffee was good. Really good. I had the smoke maple latte. It's all a bit pricey, but the attention to detail is exquisite. I can't recommend this place for a quick coffee run, but as a once in a while treat, definitely worth it.
Best coffee house in the area. Friendly, helpful service, beautiful interior, relaxed space to study or do laptop work. Thankful this place exists. Great coffee and treats. Support local coffee :)
I always stop in when I'm in the area. I love the decor and atmosphere, and always feel welcomed. I get greeted like a friend every time. The baristas know their stuff and can make recommendations on the spot.
My favorite top 3 are the Lavender Fields Forever latte, Endless Rose latte and Dirty Chai latte. I love the Dirty Chai a lot because it's not at all overly sweet like Starbucks' sugar laden syrupy nonsense.
A lot of thought and care goes into what they serve. And it is better than anywhere else I've been.
I got a mocha coffee and it was literally the best mocha I ve ever had!! My boyfriend asked the guy what he would recommend and got what he said and was good as well! Very nice place and location! Glad we went here instead of Dunkin Donuts!
Loved this cafe. There's a reason why it's highly rated. Great atmosphere. Friendly baristas. Yummy food and coffee. I had the ginger something muffin. Mmmmm, so good. Love the cups and dishes.
Always the best experience. Baristas are so helpful and take the time to make your drink with love, you can tell from their body language and demeanor.
Flux is awesome! Great coffee - all your usual espresso drinks, as well as pour over and some cool specialties (like espresso and tonic). Staff was super friendly and attentive. Nice space that was welcoming to stay and chat or work. Long Island needs more of this!
As far as cafe's on long island go - this is as good as it gets. Their lattes are amongst the best ive ever had. The mocha is amazing with that homemade chocolate sauce! And they have lavender lattes and golden milk?! SO GOOD. Creative drink options with cute and delicious pastries. Also i hear now they will be roasting coffee beans on site
Can't really judge a place based on just ONE visit, but my experience was meh. The coffee and prices were fine, but service was kind of disorganized. I can sympathize because I work with food and customer service, but the barista had to walk over to my friend after he realized that she took the wrong beverage and this prolonged the waiting period for the customers after her, including me. The problem was that after my friend ASKED one of the baristas if the beverage was hers, he said YES... then what I had explained occurred.
Good drinks, good prices, great atmosphere, just poor organization.
Ok, I ordered a house specialty coffee, a lavender something and it was SO GOOD. I didn't need to add anything to it at all. Out was perfectly frothy and delicious and overall yummy. The environment is so cute and local that you get a good sense of the people in the area. Staff was super kind and caring about my approval. Great experience, definitely a new favorite on the island.
Such a cute spot for coffee and tea. The staff was very helpful and patient with my daughter and her friends as they took forever to decide what to drink.
Great coffee selection and taste great as they roast their coffe beans....would have liked my cappuccino a little hotter...sesting of lounge chairs would be nice, as 1 person was taking the 1 couch there....would go back again very good coffee
This place is a quaint local little cafe. I'm a big Starbucks fan, this place almost lost a Star because I feel the menu for espresso drinks was lacking. Very good prices , especially compared to Starbucks. Plenty of seating, nice ambience and atmosphere. Staff was incredible. Highly recommend you check this out. Parking is difficult, but it's because it's on Main Street. There are surrounding municipal lots, but they are always packed.
Great place and good service with great staff (baristas) I visited them several times but none of these time had a great and unforgettable Cortado, they make below average cortado. The flat white was fare and the V60 was good. I will try to come back one more time to try cortado with different coffee beans.
Love this place. Smoke Maple Latte has real maple. Care Bear Latte tastes like gingerbread without being full of sugar. Iced mocha is made like a mocha is supposed to be. Muffins and other baked goods are fresh and most (if not all) are vegan compared to 0 options at most places. Workers are nice, prices are great for local products, and it's nice to see an independent coffee place that doesn't charge an arm and a leg. My favorite daily coffee place by far. Recommended.
Your experience at Flux will involve the best, most kind-hearted, friendly, and knowledgeable people serving up the best espresso filter coffee on Long Island. Hell, I d choose Flux over any cafe in NYC itself.
A tea drinker, they have one of the best London Fog I ve ever had. Surpassed Starbucks and other cafes. I enjoy the attention to the drink, slightly sweeten but not overpoweringly sweet.
The warm, easy and relax atmosphere makes it a great spot to read, journal and take a breath.
Excellent local roaster in Farmingdale. They're passionate about what they do and it shows. Great beans, exquisite roasts, nice selection, comfy and accommodating seating, with an awesome patio out back.
My man takes his cup o' joe serious!! I drink more than just coffee here. Did you ever try a Golden Milk?? Change your life today with a muffin and a drink from this haven of lucious treats. F'n guy is roasting his own beans now too. MASTER of his trade.
Love this place! I am a big fan of Farmingdale Main Street in general and I'm a bigger fan because of all of these private family run businesses. It's nice to not have a bunch of corporate chains on main street.
