The worst interpreting agency in NC - they keep sending provisional licensees to medical appointments (more marginal profit for the agency) when I asked for a full-licensed interpreter every time. 3 times this has happened to me with this agency. Provisional licensees have not taken or passed the national interpreting exam - this agency gives "newbies" interpreting assignments that they clearly can not handle - always a horrible experience for the provisional licensees especially for the deaf & hard of hearing consumers who end up rescheduling their appointment out of exasperation!

One of the worst company to work for. This is not my first contract company but deffinetly will not take anymore jobs from them. It has been over a month now and I have not been paid. This company is very hard to get hold of and always you will receive voice mail. They do not look out for the linguist but are always on the customers side even if the company messes up your schedule hours. I have exhausted all options of communication and have not heard anything yet. ( fluent language if you read this message check your voice mail and contact me back). Last resort I have now would be a civil law suit.

I been working for fluent from almost three years, I am very happy to work with them. They are very nice and professional people. There service is very good.

The interpreter didn't show up for the first appointment and then the next appointment they contacted me the day before to say they didn't have an interpreter available. They used to be so prompt and available. Dont know what happened but they are not dependable any longer.

My whole experience with this fraudulent company has been nothing short if a nightmare . They hired me to translate from English to Italian for a Gentleman who was I'll. After completing my session of translation I had the Doctor sign the document that F L A told me to present to Montefiore Medical in order to be compensated for my work. This was my first time that I worked for Fluent Language Solutions . Many months have elapsed since but I never received a dime from this wretched company. I repeatedly called them but they gave me one excuse after another, trying to get a live person on the phone was next to impossible , when I made believe I wanted to hire their services they answered the phone, of course more excuses were given to me but with a promise that the check would be in the mail by the 15th of that same month... Well I never received that check! Not only was I tricked by this poor excuse for a business but I had to use my vehicle and gas in order to travel to the appointed destination without ever receiving what was due to me.. The person I spoke to was Andrea Benitez from Fluent Language Solutions. Shame on her !!! I wonder if she would still be working there if she didn't get paid... Stay away from this scamming company. They just use your abilities but refuse to pay . Lorenza Coletto...

I dont recommend to work with this company at all. They have bad handling style. They deactivate my account because the address in the assignment was not clear and complete. Late time is 20 mints because I walked from building to other because they didnt put the right address.
DONT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.

I have worked as a contract interpreter for this company for many years. I have had no trouble getting a live person on the phone when I need one. I have never had any issues with being paid in a timely manner.
In my experience the schedulers make every effort to match interpreters skills with client needs and will make notations of those clients with which I have conflicts of interest.
I highly recommend this agency for American Sign Language interpreters.
