Arrived at the ER with my grandmother at 8pm. We have yet to be called...4 hours later. We checked in with the front desk about her not being called yet. They couldn t even find her on the list. Had to call to the back and ask about her. Supposedly they called her 2 times and couldn t find her...she was in the bathroom. She s visiting the ER for stomach pain/constipation, you don t think you should check the bathrooms before you skip over someone who s been waiting for hours? Several people were called in before her, who arrived long after we did. It s so sad that you can t count on your local community hospital to provide basic customer service. Quick to charge thousands of dollars for doing some blood work and giving a Tylenol, hospital visits cost way too much money to be wasting people s time like this. Even more sad when it s not like there s a ton of hospitals in the vicinity to choose from. Terrible hospital.

Waiting in a nearly empty emergency almost 7 hours and still waiting. Not sure what their problem but they clearly have one. Also, they just took in someone that came in about a half hour after I did.

Honestly it seems good until your surgery is over and no one knows where your going next even though Dr. David assures you he has a plan and knows the next steps to ensure your recovery. Right after having surgery previous plans discussed have been forgotten. No one knee anything about what was discussed so I really feel neglected and wouldn't have done this if there was no plan for my full recovery wow no one is answering or helping or anything I guess I'm just another number don't do it everything that you discuss with this Dr in ensuring your well being will be forgotten the day of your surgery and your left scrambling for resolutions your self

I spent 4 days in this hospital last week. All the nurses were beyond fantastic & so caring. Specially Jonathan, Pat & Jackie who were my 3 main nurses throughout my stay. The doctors were also amazing! Thank you guys so much for taking care of me!!

Good luck getting through. Phone system consistently drops calls and no call back/follow up. If you re lucky enough to get a human on the phone it s very evident they just flat out do not care.

This place deserves 0 stars. DO NOT COME TO THIS HOSPITAL UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE WAITING!!!! I came over 5 hours ago with symptoms of a stroke, high blood pressure and the worst headache and blood inside my eye and I still haven't been seen. I feel very disrespected. But when is time to overcharge you for mediocre service they are very quick! They took my Insurance info as soon as I walked in. Then waited for an hour to get vitals. Waited two more hours for labs and more than five hours later I'm still waiting. For the last three hours I'm supposed to be next. People come and go and I'm still here.

A friend of mine was kept for 10 days for low oxygen. During his stay, he was not allowed to take a bath. He requested it. His room was not kept neat nor the cleaning crew showed up. The doctors were incompetent and kept the patient in the dark. They never explained what the test they did said. They changed all his heart's medicines without consulting his heart doctor. My friend requested to be discharged and the doctor wanted to keep him for three more days, but the nurse made the mistake to inform him that he was ready to go due to his health has improved. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE CARROLLWOOD HOSPITAL. If you want to die you can go there because they will treat you very bad.

Want to die?? Go here! They will give you a one way ticket. Care & customer service is beyond ridiculous. Patients are soiled for HOURS at a time with no one to help. Call the nurses station? No one answers!! Hungry??? Too bad too sad! Need a diaper change? THE HOSPITAL IS OUT OF DIAPERS. YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT. OUT OF ESSENTIALS!! When you finally get through the nurses station a VERY NOT SO PLEASENT nurse might answer, when you try to explain the situation she won't let you speak, once she says what she has to say she hangs up. I can go on and on but you get the message. If this is how they treat paying customers can you imagine how the treat those who can afford it?

I am practically a frequent flyer with the people in Emergency due to bacterial infections. Each time I check in I m met with people who enjoy their work and go out of their way to help others.
They make every effort to understand the patient s problem and associated concerns. There s no rushing the patient through any procedure. Everyone is available if you need a heated blanket, if you can t do exactly what s required because of a pre-existing condition or if you need to explain anything in detail that you feel they should know.
