Florida hospital Review

Brought my Mother (91 years old) to ED last night, I totally understand Covid restrictions and no visitation, however she has dementia and is a poor historian. She was vomiting. The staff was not friendly. They told me to put her somewhere comfortable and exit the department. I went in to check on her and was told to leave. After 3 hours of still none being seen I gathered my mother and left. I was not kept informed of the delays nor did I see anything related to caring for her. I was very disappointed with their patient experience and would not recommend AH Zephryhills to my worse enemy!!

I recently had my baby here and the women in the labor and delivery are the most amazing ppl . I had a nurse Karen the night nurse (there are two Karen s both amazing) she went above and beyond ! She stayed with me while in labor pains rubbed my hips did everything she could to make me comfortable. I could never thank her enough for all she did ! She helped me in every way possible . She helped with the baby and helped answer all my questions! She hands down is the best nurse I have ever had ! Thank u so much nurses at the labor and delivery u all are amazing ! Thank u so much Karen !

Spent at least 12 hours in the last 2 days trying to get my husband treated for a bad fall. Has really bad brusing on his side which is spreading. I am worried because he is on a blood thinner. They did a ct scan the first night. . He is in a lot of pain and he can't lay down. We left last night after over 7 hours.

I am so eternally grateful for the nurses and staff at The Baby Place at Advent Zephyrhills . What happened to be a very tragic and difficult moment in my life, I felt at peace and comfortable from the moment I set foot in the hospital. Special shout-out to nurses Natalie, Annette and Joy. I could not have gotten through it all without you, & Dr. Villa for being the best OBGYN I could ever wish for.

Update: it's now 3:30 am and I got here at 11 pm. I asked for water 4 hrs ago, I was told no. I asked for a blanket and they said no. I asked for a time line to get a room and nurse said he doesn't know.... What is this???? 0 compassion or consideration for patients.
Been here at ER for 3 hours and no signs to be submitted yet to a room. I'm in so much pain, haven't eaten for 7 days and can't take deep breaths, yawn or talk a bit loud because I feel short of breath and pain on my chest.
There are people waiting for 8 hours!!! This is just ridiculous, unprofessional and torturous. Would love to leave but I need to know how my lungs are and if I have blood clots forming in my body. Worst hospital ever.

A family member of mine was treated for covid here and has nothing but positives to say about the care and treatment received here. During the hospital stay, I called daily to check on him and the nurses were always so nice to me and took the time to give me thorough updates and answer any questions that I had, of course with the permission of my family member. I can t thank you all enough for all you did for our family and for being so kind to me every time I called even though you all were so busy and working tirelessly during these difficult covid times. Forever grateful!

I reaently had a total hysterectomy at this hospital. My doctor was amazing. But i have to say my nurses, that took care of me was fantastic. I cannot say thank you enough for your excellent care and attention. .Kerri, Latoya, Leisha and the intern that was helping them.

It s August 19th 2021 and I have been here since 2:09 this afternoon. I ve only had my vitals and blood drawn and peed in cup. The wait is ridiculous and they don t care about their other patients who need to be seen more. 6 hour wait is outrageous. And is very uncalled for. Many of people who showed up hours and hours after me have been in and out of the hospital and there are people who have been in here since 10:50 am

Admissions person asking for reason for visit repeatedly giving the correct answer. They still did not understand and were rude about my response

The radiology department with outpatient office personnel were so nice and helped me get my scans done quickly. They all had smiles and made me feel welcome and happy. I appreciate you all, thank you!
