My daughter tara was placed here because the board of education kicked her out of school dcs and the court removed her from my house for it now as of 8/8/20 @8am she has been missing I only found out my child was missing cause cops went to my mother's house looking for her @ 1 shes missing for 39 hours as of this post 8/9/20 11pm please help me find my child
I was in this facility for 8 months in 2014 I don t know if the same staff are still there but I want them to know that I thank them for being the family I needed they were nice and non judgmental I honestly miss them I just wish to know if they re doing okay they made a big part of who I am today they taught me things in the school that other schools wouldn t teach(thanks to mr.josh mr.Mac and all of them) Mrs.Shea and Mrs.Kilgore were the best they were super supportive and cared for us dearly and Mrs.Lisa she was a good leader and her office always smelled like lollipops(lol)And i had a super good therapist she found every way possible to help me with therapy she even used art therapy knowing that it was my favorite activity to do she was absolutely amazing.
I miss them and hope the best for them they re god sent angels and if I could see them again and tell them that I sure would

I was getting in a lot of trouble and i was here from November 29,2018- February 22,2019 the place helped me ao much ever since i got out I've stayed out of trouble got out of dcs custody and learned a lot in that place. Thank you for all the staff that worked there while i was there. I was in level 2 and we got to go outside and play on the hill when it was warm enough. Thank you to all of yall who worked there while I was there. It is a great place and helps kids. It doesn't turn kids against parents. I loved that place for it to be a placement. I could've got placed somewhere a lot worse then this.
I spent time here as a ward of the State. This is just another business grabbing money from the State.

This place sucks!! I was a client there and I have been out since may 2020 and have yet to get my transcripts for school!! Now I m behind in all my classes and struggling to get them still!
I was pregnant w my first son, like 7 months when I got sent here. I was scared of course but there were other pregnant girls there also. After a while we became somewhat of a family. I felt safe and learned some things while I was there. Places like this get a bad name but I was ok. It wasn't a bad place, I was safe, I had my own space and we had our freedom. I would be ok knowing my fam was here.
I feel like this program didn't help at all. Mrs. Howard, Ms. Vennesa, Mrs. Alex, and Mrs. Becca are the only staff I feel like helped clients and actually took time and cared about them and their feelings. But we never got to go outside, the food was TERRIBLE, and they messed up my schooling and didn't give me the credits I earned while I was there.
I do NOT recommend this and I feel like DCS should be ashamed they are even sending ANY kids there. Mrs. Jenny didn't listen at all and I feel like she didn't really try to help clients. Most staff were just there for a paycheck. We woke up at 7 and couldn't go to sleep again until 9-9:30 after medicine was passed out.
They put people on medicine without trying to help first.
One of the staff members even helped students run and get away.
I was there for 92 days - June 21 to September 20 2019, and I feel like my life was wasted during that time. We didn't have anything to keep us occupied while we were there either unless we were taught how to crochet, and even then, the needle couldn't be too skinny. We couldn't even bring pencils or anything into our rooms. We also had a girl try to hang herself and failed so she went out and told staff and they sent her off to a mental hospital. GREAT supervision No wonder kids ran all the time.
But I DO NOT recommend sending kids here. They will send kids out WAY worse than they went in.
