This was the best bed-and-breakfast experience we have ever had. Robin is an amazing cook. Dave is an excellent conversationalist. You're up in the Redwoods in the hills. The whole experience was just fantastic. Can't say enough about this place I could go on and on and on but you just need to experience it for yourself. Spend the money you won't regret it.
Robin and David are the best Hostess and Host you could ask for. This getaway was a gift from our son as we take care of my Mom 24/7 who is 92 years old with dementia. The farm is so tranquil. Being in the woods and breathing the fresh air was rejuvenating. The Cowgirl room was big and comfy and Robin s breakfasts were so good. Can t say enough about this place. We will definitely be returning whenever we stay in the Santa Cruz area.
The farm owner showed us around the land and the stocks, and his wife taught us to made pizza ourselves. Didn't spend a night in the farm, but a one day tour is inspirational enough for city kids.

Amazing hospitality and food. Your hostess Robin is a very talented chef who accommodates your dietary preferences. The rooms are large and well appointed. The surroundings are like being in a private redwood grove resort. Will be back very soon.
I visited here in October 2015. The Flipjack Ranch was a great place to stay in Bonny Doone. I was thoroughly impressed with the food! You can tell the freshness that comes with the Farm-to-table aspect. The owners were very friendly and eager to please us. I also chatted with some of the Wwoofers. That is very cool program and I was interested to hear about it. I walked around the property to check out the animals and would definitely recommend doing so if you're ever there.
