I chose FlightSafety Academy to further my flight training because I did not just want to learn to fly, I wanted to know how to fly. The instruction is all encompassing with high standards for completion. I have advanced in my skills and now I am a safer pilot from the knowledge learned here. My career in the airlines will be a success because of the excellent training I received here.
I chose flightsafety in 2018 for a multi engine rating and unfortunately regret it :/ I managed to receive a rating (surprisingly) but I would never trust myself to fly one. I gained zero confidence in my abilities here.
This place is horrible. I just wanna mention one thing which is the package service. The flight Safety holds all of the students package in a small mail room. Everyone who wanna get there package must pick up it at 3-4pm Monday to Friday. If you got a package on Friday, congrats you may pick it up on next Monday. We can only fill out the shipping address that they give us instead of our own address. So, if you think this isn t ridiculous, come here and enjoy.
Flight Safety Academy has helped me progress from zero time to private, instrument, and my commercial rating. From the ground schools to the flight training my instructors have been awesome! Flight Safety has given me the tools to further my flight career and made me an effective, efficient, and safe pilot. I enjoyed my time and training at Flight Safety and I would recommend anyone looking to start a career in aviation to take a look at Flight Safety!
FSA is a complete disappointment in almost every way possible. Self-funded students pay high prices and are a total non-priority compared to students from airlines with big contracts. As often as not, I only got one flight per week. Then, the instructor, who cares only about getting his or her 1500 hours, gets irritated that you haven't recalled what you were taught last lesson -- which might be 10 days ago. That's no way to learn to fly. Several classmates left early and are already INSTRUCTORS at better schools!!! I wish I had done the same! I have many months before I get a even commercial! If you come here, you will end up angry, frustrated and far behind those who went somewhere else! Beware.
