Went with my parents to buy a couch. Our saleslady Barbara was very patient, not pushy at all. Let us look around without hovering, gave us information when asked and didn't try to push us one way or another on our decision. Didn't try to make us buy the most expensive thing. Was funny and easy going, and helped us make the a decision on the sofa/loveseat and all the colors/accents that went with it. Worth the drive, especially since furniture is only a portion of the store.

I just had the best customer service experience by...

I just had the best customer service experience by a young man that works in the carpet department, it s so refreshing and rewarding to go shopping and still find employees that care about the client and go the extra mile to make your experience a positive experience, I wish every store had employees like him...at least one...I asked him for his name to recognize him and congratulate him in public, his name is Jeremyah Urbano! Go ask for him when you visit Flemington Department Store Carpet Dept! Great job Jeremiah!!!

Never been in before even though it s local. I needed a set of safety toe shoes for work and they had ample selection. Prices were comparable to online and the gentleman that helped me out (sorry didn t catch his name, young guy with glasses) was very attentive and even brought out three sizes to make sure I got the right fit. It s employees like this that make repeat customers!

We ordered a couch December 20th. Given an estimate of 12-16 weeks and told probably closer to 16 weeks. We called a few weeks after ordering to get a more accurate date and was then given an estimate of 20 weeks. They have no interest in checking up on your orders unless you press them CONSTANTLY. We called at 18 weeks to confirm our couch would be arriving soon, only for the estimate to be pushed out to 7 MONTHS. They don t ever call the manufacturer unless you hound them to do it. Absolutely ridiculous. They are less than helpful about any of it, just saying we can cancel the order and that s about it. How about some regular communication?

EDIT- I know there are delays but for no one to contact us 2 weeks before it was supposed to be delivered and then us having to call to find out it will be another 3 months in absurd. Lack of communication is disappointing especially with delays of MONTHS. Would really love the number for the manufacturer so I could contact them

Today we had carpet put into our entire upstairs. I had comparison shopped before I placed this order. Flemington Department store offered the best value in terms of product and installation. Wendy was an absolute pleasure to work with. Alex and his installation team did a stellar job today. I was a bit stressed with so much to move among four bedrooms. The installers were the best. They were kind, patient and helpful. They just did an amazing job. We are so pleased with our new carpet and we will be recommending your store to friends and family. The service and value are unmatched! Thank you!

Same order as Eileen below. Turnaround on furnitur...

Same order as Eileen below. Turnaround on furniture delivery is totally unacceptable and communication severely lacking. We are being strung along. Ordered December 20 was told mid March to Mid April (12-16 weeks). So April rolls around and we call for an update and they say sorry it ll actually be Mid May (20 weeks).... we say okay let s be patient and understanding... now May rolls around and we call and now they say sorry, actually MAYBE late July... nothing we can do (30+ weeks).... that s double the original promised timeframe.. So when late July rolls around and I call will it be another 2 months and tell me September? I have 0 confidence on these estimates anymore. Will it be a full year before my couch shows up? This is crazy. Plus, no one ever reaches out to us to let us know. It takes me to call and harass to find out this bad news for myself each time. Great you offer us a refund but where s the refund for the 5+ months of time I have had folding chairs in my living room thinking my couch would be here soon? I don t want a refund I want what I ordered. Will spare you the second one star for now but update my review depending on when this thing finally shows up. It s my only leverage as a customer being strung along. Buyers beware.
