I have never been to this church, so I can not rate their "ministry", but they have made my life very difficult if I want to shop on Sunday at the local stores next door. The traffic is horrendous!!!!! Rather than get larger, can't you split this up and maybe find a location in another city so that not everyone is driving to Lafayette and causing all sorts of parking and traffic issues. I have very few times to shop and I avoid your church times as much as possible, but sometimes I just can't and I curse you (very christian I know) every time. If you are truly looking out for your fellow beings, think about the nightmare you have caused.

This church is our home away from home. They are welcoming, honest, genuine, and stand firm on the Word of God in their teachings. The music rocks!! They have ear plugs in the back if you find it too loud. Come here if you want to know who Jesus is and be welcomed by a group of believers who understand their lives are messy, too. Their motto is "Me too" for that very reason. You want to know more about Jesus? Me too. Let's dig in the Word (and not just our version of it). You want to lay your burdens down and find peace? Me too. Your life is messy, and you make mistakes? Me too. You want to know how to pick your life back up again and stop making the same mistakes over and over again? Or how to be a better spouse/parent/friend? Me too! Come to a service. You won't regret it. I'm a teacher and approve of their program for children, too! Mine will be going here!

Sorry to sound off! The Shift meeting in Lafayette didn't start off right. The opening talk was so slanted politically: offense was given and offense wasvtaken by more ( I'm sure) than me. This day was the Inaugeration of our 45 th President. The fellow pimped the group with a stupid joke about the day being special---pause pause--- because it was international Penguin Day!
Well, dude, if you ain't there with the new Prez like probably half your congregation is--- then shut up-- sit back ( maybe you could pray for him) and leave your talk for healing and giving Christs answers! Sorry but you lost me on that one!

I've never stepped foot in this church. I've never met Jim Burgen the pastor. I don't even know anybody who attends this church...I stumbled upon a link while searching for a technical solution to a computer problem...I've spent the past 24 hours listening to Jim's sermons, rocking out to some unbelieveable music (Stairway to Heaven a must see), and enjoying the incredible talent of the Flatirons community. I'm not sure how such an amazing concentration of talent landed in the foothills of the Rockies...But keep rocking and talking and changing lives...God Bless you all...

Ok I see alot of reviews saying this church is about money but I have never felt that way here now I went to a church that took offering tree times pledge drives every month there was always something they were collecting money for fast forward it was to fatten the pastor wallet houses ect cars but the congregation was suffering & the judgement was real if u didnt attend or volunteer you were pretty much judged for it so I say this not everyone gonna agree on a church

Love the atmosphere here. Everyone is super friendly and genuine. The pastors are amazing. This is the first church I've been to that makes me feel more connected to God. The pastors have an incredible way of teaching. I admire how such a big church sticks to what the bible says but doesnt point fingers and judge.

My 100th Review! Came here last Saturday for the Christmas service! I am a United Methodist congregant but I have always been fascinated by the Non-Denominational experience! The best part of this church has to be the fact that it is outstandingly big and beautiful! Between the Orchard and Flatirons I would say Flairons wins hands down. I will definitely go back again, especially if my cousin gets a spot in the band next year!

I have been to the 4:00 service on Saturday twice. I loved it! My home church is a VERY small church, and that is what I prefer. But different strokes for different folks! For me, this is an evening out. The music is incredible, and the pastor's message is right on. This church is fun. I know they also have small groups, so if I lived in Lafayette, I would probably give those a try and maybe this could be my home church. As long as they keep teaching the word of God, what is wrong with a little entertainment?

I have nothing but praise for what FCC does, not only in the local community but worldwide. There is always something to take from the messages heard that can be applied to your daily life. I know, Jim is anything but traditional, he is def a character but it is so clear that God is using him to reach others. FCC is the church that brought me back to the Lord. I remember going in being VERY judgmental and God so clearly broke that down. Every message spoke directly to me. I started attending FCC back in 2008 and although I have moved, I still am blessed with being able to watch/listen to all the messages so that I never miss out. God used this church to save my life and redirect it back towards living for HIM and not myself. I will forever be grateful. Thanks Flatirons, for everything!

This church does not care at all about the greater community. From the way it has long affected Lafayette residents through its massive attendance on weekends and lack of contribution to local taxes to its current approach on the COVID-19 outbreak - not requiring masks at its services and essentially denying the fact that there is a pandemic and they are contributing to an increase in community spread. When they reopened the main pastor said they would be under a magnifying glass for their behavior and yet somehow they proceeded to ignore that statement and act recklessly for no reason other than "masks aren't manly hurrr."

I am sure they're "repenting for their sins" and expecting a clean slate with Jesus but they do not act like true Christians, just another tithe-hungry church with 0 consideration for the impact of their actions.
