Flamingo hotel & casino resort Review

Full disclosure somethings were not available due to covid restrictions so I can't give a full review but from what I did experience: room, main casino floor, and pool. This property allows smoking like many others but its definitely a turn off during a pandemic with respiratory ailments. The rooms are nice sized and the one I visited had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Great for getting fresh air and people watching. Pool was nice, mostly calm but shut down early :(

The location is fantastic. You are near lots of restaurants and the monorail. The hotel shows its age, but they try to keep it up. It is a good value hotel.

Had some free stays with my Caesar s account so I decided to finally take a trip to vegas. Randomly chose flamingo because of their nights available and wow it was great! The room was nice, games were good, but what truly set it apart and makes me want to come back here again was the staff. Everyone was so nice! I walked to some other casinos and the staff members were very rude. I look young so I m used to showing my ID a lot but one place some manager said make sure you check that kids ID. I m 25, I m not a kid. Flamingo staff was always so kind about asking me for my ID and I am so thankful for their kind staff. Will be here again soon

Such a fun bar with amazing drinks!! They were very well poured, boozy, but delicious. We had a lot of fun here! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

Note: got Covid on plane there. I'm double vaxed so only got stuffy nose sneezing, and loss of smell. Thought it was allergy to smokey casinos. Found Out after I got home. Beware! Planes AREN'T SAFE. HOTEL: Clean and great staff. Nice room. Pool was clean and not too crowded. Staff was quick to clean each lounge as people left. As always pool prices for day beds and drinks are too high, but everywhere in Vegas is like that.
Wish the casinos were smoke free.

This hotel really wasn't that special. We had some problems checking and our room keys did not work twice so we had to switch rooms. With that being said, this hotel is in a great location. Right on the strip and right by the LINQ Promenade. I think it is reasonably priced for the experience you get at a good location.

Nice rooms although the hotel is a bit older in some areas. Still a great vibe for a Vegas trip.
A nice number of good shops/food. Location is central to just about everything. Pool area is absolutely amazing!!

Flamingo is a great option to stay on the Strip. Centrally located. If u go in knowing your are not staying at a 4 star hotel u will be very satisfied. The key is to get a room that has been removed in the last few years.

I did not get the room I reserved but the gentleman at the front desk was very professional and found a suitable replacement. Great view.
Overall I was happy with out stay. Pros and Cons in comparison to bother properties, but not bad. Definitely better than some of the reviews make it seem.
Again, the guy that checked us in did a great job! I really wish I got his name...

Obviously there are nicer hotels but you cant give The Flamingo a bad review for that. It's a 3 star hotel. As far as 3 star hotels go.. I have never stayed at a better one. I've stayed here now 4 times. Center of the strip is convenient. It's so inexpensive. It's one of the oldest hotels on the strip but obviously it's been remodeled. It's actually really nice. Don't listen to some of these picky wierdos and their 3 star review.
