Fishers Island Ferry Review

Fast Boat + Thirty-five years of great service on the main ferries = awesome. The larger ferries have always been a pleasant ride. The crew is friendly, the cabin is clean and loading on/off is a breeze. Recently took the Silver Eel Express "Fast Ferry" and have an entirely new appreciation for the FI Ferry crew. The fast boat is exactly that: fast. The crew was professional and friendly, helped with all of our bags, a stroller, another passengers golf clubs, etc. etc. and the ride itself was a blast. It's a great way to see the Sound.

I mean its a ferry dock. Its got somewhere you can fish and somewhere you can swim. Not much else to say.

Had to go to do some work on Fishers Island, the client told me she messed up the date, so I had to go back in and out within an hour. The crew were so helpful , showing me where to park and helping me with my huge amount of luggage I needed to bring for my job.
Doing it again tomorrow, hope it is smooth sailing again.

Really nice crew and ferry ride, set a clock by these guys.

Although the only ferry to reach Fisher's Island, these fleet of ferries are a pretty good service. Lots of the seats are outside, so you don't get seasick, and you can see the New London Lighthouse (the ferry passes right by it). The only thing I would change is to add another destination on mainland.
