Telephoned me as a result of downloading a guide. All transmit an no receive. When questioned the sales persons knowledge was almost non existent. All rhetoric.
Hard sell salesman that care more about commission than whether it is the right time to invest. I voiced concerns about a potential market correction accepted their reassurances only to find i was right and therefore lost money. Bad experience i suggest you avoid them.
Friend uses them and I was blown away by the attentiveness they have on his personal situation and the returns have been outstanding. Would recommend.
Best decision I ever made was to transfer my SIPP to Fishers. For the rirst time ever, I was given meaningful projections of what level of pension I could expect - when I had asked my previous IFA, the response I received was literally ''well as we can't predict when you're going to die, that's like asking how long is a piece of a string'''! My investments have still grown, even though I am now drawing a monthly pension and i can check the performance of my fund on line, on a daily basis if I want to. I receive regular phone calls and up dates from my dedicated investment consultant. Even though he is based in Washington DC, I have a much closer relationship with him than I ever had with my previous UK based IFA AND our contact is much more friendly, reassuring and generally far more comfortable.
I would have given five stars but for the incompetence of Curtis Banks - the UK based company which Fishers use to manage (or rather mismanage) my pension payments and the property portfolio element of my SIPP. Based on my experience, Curtis Banks cannot be trusted to manage anything and in my humble opinion, they are letting Fishers down badly and that is a great shame.
Good advice, Effective money management. Would be nice to have more of their experts located in the UK.
Rude client manager. I felt they were making up what they were telling me. I have no confidence in them.
Excellent service and returns: over the past 3.5 years about 50%! Efficient and reliable service when I needed to take money out.
Can't say thank you enough to Alex at Fisher Investments, he introduced the firm to my parents so well and they had never truly trusted the finance industry before. They've been happy clients for almost a year now and keep thanking me for introducing them to the company. Would recommend - good firm
If you need pension and investment advice please seek out a Chartered IFA who will provide bespoke advice and regular reviews. What I would not suggest, is placing your life savings (which you can t go out and earn again) with a US asset grabber . Caveat emptor
Fantastic experience, I'm not sure what these negative comments are about. Once you get over the sales phone call process (which happens everywhere in life!) its a great service. The team were helpful and informative, plus I'm making MONEY! Isn't that what it's all about.....I think so!
Hard sell optimistic returns sceptical of salesman and adviser When I told them I had invested elsewhere and finally got the message as to whty Salesman was very rude and said come back to us in 5 years when you have lost all your money Very unprofessional
Never knew that something like this was available to me until I sat down with Fisher. I felt like my IFA was doing a good job until I realised I had been under performing the market for the last 5 years! Been with Fisher for over 3 years now and made more in one of those years than 5 with my IFA.
I am typically British and was very wary of a strong slightly pushy sales process it almost put me off
But I signed up and I have been very pleased indeed
Great depth of knowledge and constant feedback
Got meet other clients at a local dinner/ presentation and I asked for their feedback - one guy said in good times there can be little surrender between investment houses but the really good advisers earn their money in the bad times
So it has been proven to date!
Very happy
Started to ask for some information in response to an ad. Gave them my name and email then before they would issue the information then asked for phone number and postal address. No happy to give this so didnt. Sounds dodgy to me.
Ridiculous company, ridiculous adverts, ridiculous pushy salesmen, just ridiculous.
Rude can be the only word to describe the man I've just spoken to, after cold calling me on a number of occasions I eventually picked up, after telling me a bunch of lies he immediately put there phone down when I said I was a police officer. SCAM
**Update** totally taken aback after receiving another call from this company. The above person's manager has just called me to apologise for my initial call. I can only respond by changing this review star rating from 1 to 3 stars. I don't like cold calls for services I hadn't requested but thank you to the manager for his efforts.
