We usually come to this place for special occasions. Upscale seafood place that serves not only fresh and flavorful dishes, but also sells freshly caught items as well. It can get pricey, but totally worth it!

I purchased a quart of white clam chowder soup and a shrimp cocktail to go. When I come to town to visit mom, I always get her the clam chowder soup she loves it and I really enjoyed the quality and freshness of the shrimp cocktail.

The atmosphere and the food were unbelievable. Katie our waitress was extremely attentive and full of information about the area. She even took the time to check with one of her colleagues to answer a question we had about the race track by our hotel.

we had a business dinner here with my two bosses one from Singapore and one from the UK there was five of us we had a fantastic time the food was very good steaks New York filet mignon shrimp and steak and monkfish service was great the wine was good definitely recommend they also had delicious clam chowder soup

Always outstanding food and service but not cheap !

Dining outside was best bet to maintain social distancing. Inside very crowded. Service was great and seafood was fresh and served to perfection. Love the clam chowder here

Right next door the restaurant bar off the hook very good but I have to tell the truth it is not good as off the hook so walk through the door and walk through the other door so you can go to the off the hook sorry fish you are good put off the hook is way better my apologies but it's the truth if you have a bad experience at off the hook walk through the door again. To The Fish Company but I doubt it his Off The Hook is so freaking awesome

Great atmosphere, damn good drinks and the food tasted as good as it looked, good value for the money.

As for seafood spots, this is spot on. Service, food, total package. The scallops Rockefeller bhomb!! best fish and chips... alaskan king crab...cant wait to eat here again.

My wife and I had dinner at the Original Fisk Co. To celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. I didn't have reservations and waited about 25 minutes to be seated. ( not bad for Saturday night at 5:30 )
My wife had the Halibut dinner and I had the Captain's platter.... a thick cut Halibut steak done to perfection and grilled over real mesquite. The taste was was incredible and I ate the Halibut without any tartar sauce or any other additional seasoning
. Also included with the Captain's platter was a skewer of shrimp and scallops mingled with bell pepper and bacon. The portions were very generous and I could not finish everything on my plate.
Our server was very professional and did a fantastic job. When I recieved the check I was surprised to see the bill was much less than I had expexted. I was so happy with the dinning experience that I tipped him 25 %.
A group near us was celebrating a birthday and a gentleman right across from us popped the question and his girlfriend became his fiance.
It was a fun evening !! We will definitely be back !!

This spot is the one I always prefer. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very attentive and the cuisine they place on your table is so good. I am always happy to have a good dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.

This was my second time to eat here and the first time was maybe a 3 star. This time they totally redeemed themselves. I am a boater and fisherman so I know fresh fish. My fish was very fresh and grilled to perfection. A crisp salad great sides and great service.

The clam chowder and sourdough rolls we're amazing. The fish and chips really lacked seasoning, but we're still okay overall.

The food is really expensive for what you're getting. The specials menu makes you think you're getting a big ole plate of food, but only half the plate is full and you pay $50 for a little piece of poorly prepared fish on a pile of mashed potatoes and 3 pieces of asparagus. Total ripoff. Some menu items are great, but you can get a better version of everything at other restaurants for much cheaper. Take your business elsewhere.

Professional service and delicious seafood. I always look k forward to salmon season cause I know Original Fish Co. Is going to get some of the best. They also have a great selection of oysters, they even have a little fish market so you can take some fresh seafood home with you.
Large parking lot with both front and back lots. Next time we are going to try rhier sister restaurant next door. "Off the Hook".

Introduced by a Nurse I worked with many. Many years ago. We started having our monthly nurse get togethers there . Have taken many friends and family there. One of my parents favorite also. We like the changes made. Glad you have expanded. Wait is not terrible long now. But the food. Amazing. Delicious. Wonderful. That's why we keep going back. Reservations would be nice.

My family loves this place and the food is great. They do, however, seem incapable of accommodating large parties (8 or more). Twice we've gone in a large group and even with a reservation (once), we've been squished to the point that it's uncomfortable. It was like a game where they wanted to see who could fit the most people on the least amount of table space. Both times our chairs were all touching and there was barely room for all of our plates. Service is hit or miss. I don't like when our food is all misplaced and our drink glasses go empty. Again, big party problems but great for bonding. We just passed our remaining drink cups around our squished tables (no worries we were all close by) until our waiter showed up again. I would be more forgiving of these shortcomings if we weren't paying $20+ a plate.

Dinner, lunch, and brunch with smaller parties are a lot more comfortable and the server even seems happier and likes us better. So go in small parties. The food is always good but the service and human to table ratio are better that way.

This is a real gem of a restaurant (and fish market) tucked away near a busy intersection. The market is just as you walk in, just off the lobby. In the center is a large bar area that seems to be quite popular. Around the edges is lots of dining room seating, including a small patio out front. They even have a few rooms suitable for small group gatherings. The food was fresh and delicious, including traditional American New England Clam Chowder to sashimi and sushi and everything in between. Nobody at our table was diappointed with the food or the attentive staff.

Food was pretty good but it's pretty busy here. And our waitress didn't care or pay much attention to our orders. Had someone trying to order a baked sweet potato and she heard baked potato. I noticed it and tried to tell the waitress again and she still brushed it off

My husband and mother both had the blue point, everything was fantastic. My son says you should try the raspberry martini. They never disappoint.

Just a lovely experience, even with the Covid changes, they have done an incredible job to create a beautiful outdoor experience.

Once we were seated we did not have any long waiting. We received everything deliciously in a very timely manner. Our server, Sophie, gets a ten rating. The next time we visit Long Beach I know one place we will visit.

Ordered the captains plate and the fish was cooked perfectly. The calamari steak is a must order.

Just got takeout. Was delicious as always. Maybe the world's best clam chowder, jumbo shrimp and cocktail sauce. Got sourdough rolls also but they were not nearly as good as usual. Passed the outdoor dining and people waiting areas. Pretty much no social distancing whatsoever and pretty much no one with a mask on. The tables were barely 2 feet apart. We will definitely stay with takeout until this nightmare is done.

Great food, servers very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere loud-otherwise perfect fine dining. Highly recommend the filet and shrimp on a stick (outstanding)

The original fish Co. Is my favorite way to end the week. There servers are always smiling, the food is delicious, and the drinks uh-oh "so good".. Everything's a little pricey but worth it!

Always a fantastic experience. From the restaurant to the fish counter and ready to grab clam chowder this place is perfect. Prepare to wait for a table but it is absolutely worth it.
We started with the crab cakes as these ones are my favorite. Our dinner entrees were a special of the day, Wild Fijian Ono; and the Captains Platter grilled which includes a shrimp and scallop skewer and a piece of Halibut. The fish was well seasoned, flavorful and we'll cooked. We also asked to take home our clam chowders so we were able to enjoy them later.
Our sever made sure that we were well taken care of the entire evening.

Food and service was excellent. I had the Monday special which was stuffed habitat. Highly recommend if you want some very good seafood.

It was alright, I got a tuna dish that wasn't bad, but there were parts of the fish that were a little tough and chewy.

An outstanding seafood restaurant. Their steamed mussels are fresh and meaty with a delicious broth. My wife and I usually have one of their entree specials, while my son is a fan of their fish and chips. we've never been disappointed in the 22 years we've been going here.

I've been going here for years and they're still amazing. Very reasonably priced and staff treat you like royalty. Get the freshest dishes with a large variety to choose from. Great for birthday/other celebrations.

An upscale seafood eatery where you get what you pay for, everything is amazing here. Even the basic fried shrimp plate is on another level. This is a family favorite that we've been coming to for years and it never disappoints!

I felt like the Queen of England dining at such a fine establishment. The bread had a fresh bakery aroma with a warm crusted outside. The Friday Special was a shrimp party on my taste buds. My friend had the popcorn shrimp and wow!! Flavor explosion!! The service was especially wonderful and our waiter was such a sweetheart. He was attentive, swift, and friendly. Overall, I had a great time and my dining experience was absolutely superb! The wait time on a Friday night was 20 minutes and parking was no issue.

The food is good. Its cooked well and presented well. It's just not exceptional. The overall ambiance of this place is great. It has a seafood Monger, a grand bar and great patio. This could be a great spot for meetings or a casual seafood outing. The service is not the greatest. There has never been any issues with the serving staff, but the "little things" lack, i.e. water refills only when asked, the dishes are rarely brought out together with a party of 4 or more, silverware is not replaced for the next plate and the list goes on... so if you're expecting an "upscale" establishment, this is not it. Instead this is a friendly, casual good meal type of place.

Have been coming here for many years and the quality of food and service remains head and shoulders above any chain restaurant - including the pricey chain steakhouses. When we have an occasion to celebrate, this is where we come. Best clam chowder EVER!!!

OFC has expanded in recent years and prices are higher, but the quality remains high. I came here for fried clams because this is one of the few places that served fresh, whole clams, bellies included. Yum! If you stick with the simpler preparations you'll definitely be happy.

Minus the stars because of the prices. My wife and dined there for lunch and walked away with $129 bill. Clam chowder was really good

Best halibut I have had in years - moist (unusual for halibut) and flavorful, but only 6 oz instead of 8 as other places. Rest of our party enjoyed each of their dishes also. Will gladly go back.

Great place. The food was great. Shrimp was cooked perfectly. The clam chowder was amazing. Great daily specials. The wait staff were friendly and attentive without hovering.

There can be a wait when it's busy so plan accordingly. The wait is definitely worth it as we will be back to try out other options.

This place has the best white clam chowder I have ever tasted! It was so good, I had to hold back tears every time I took a bite! This soup transcends a meal and enters into an emotional experience, enriching both body and soul! I seriously sat in my car for like 20 min afterwords just trying to grasp who I was again! Thank you Original Fish Co. You did it!

I just can't get enough all I can say is if you ain't eating here you ain't eating at all. My place to visit after a really good workout or just when I'm craving dish they are my place of choice. I have to say they get to see me often lol.

Excellent seafood. Today I had one of the brunch dishes- crabcake Eggs Benedict, which was delicious. (I have Eggs Benedict of one kind of another about once a year.) I would have given it 5 stars, except for the accompanying "fresh fruit", which was a barely acceptable premade mixture of melon, grapes, and pineapple of the type found in almost every restaurant in town except for a few that actually cut up fresh fruit. I suspect the fries are better, but after one of their wonderful sourdough rolls and the English muffin under the Eggs Benedict, I thought the fresh fruit the better choice.
