Justin was excellent and informative. Made the process really easy to understand.

Don't trust this company. They will tell you what you want to hear during the sales process but when you get your policy you find out the hard way that you made a mistake with policy you want with.

I spoke with Stephen Bourne about a health plan that fits my needs. Very friendly, professional, provides me with a good understanding of what I was signing up for. I received very satisfactory help. I look forward in working with First Family for my health needs.

Stephen was able to work within my budget and find me policy I was happy with. He took diligent time to understand my request for an osteopathic doctor ( D.O.) and to even learn more about them during his time inquiring on what they cover/how they work woth a patient. I appreciate the honesty and transparency of answering all my questions. Also, enjoyed being able to have a human connection that eased the tension thats normally associated when dealing with any sort of sales.

Stephen was very personable, helpful and patient when I had questions, needed clarification, or needed something repeated. This was the best experience I ve had getting insurance.
It would have been better if I had been able to follow along with him online with plan details and the health questionnaire.

Barbara Teeter is a competent and professional agent/advocate. The first agent I called came to the house and recommended a Medicare Advantage Plan without even asking what drugs my husband was taking. His doctor wasn t on the plan, so the salesman recommended my husband switch to his doctor, who was. When I asked around, Barbara came highly recommended - and deservedly so. She asked for a list of my husband s medications and doctors, then recommended the plans that would work best for him. We are very pleased with Barbara s service.

After speaking with their agent Terri McArthur an independent insurance agent from First Family Insurance-she sold me a United Heath Care policy based on what I said I needed- a policy to cover me for all my annual wellness visits and accidents- just in case. I only used my policy for my 3 annual wellness visits. The company refused to pay- even though I told Terri that is what I was planning to use the policy for. I was told it did not cover preventative health care. The policy says it pays for bloodwork at Quest Diagnosis if it is doctor ordered. Guess what- my doctor ordered it and it was done at Quest. They did not pay a dime. I filed an appeal, I called every 2 weeks, I was promised a call back by several people including the appeal team, and Terri herself. These people are not ethical and they are not accountable for the bogus policies they sell. I received notification on Monday that United Health Care will honor my appeal and pay the two bills. Terri McArthur and her affiliates of First Family Insurance were planning on leaving me with the bills. Luckily, United Health Care stepped in and did the right thing. I will be writing a separate review for United Health Care and giving them the 5 stars they deserve.

Whatever you do, please avoid Chris from First Family Insurance!!!. At first, he seemed really nice and professional over the phone, But don t try to tell the man that you decided to go with someone else for coverage. Because he turns into a completely different person. While trying to tell Chris that I decided to go with someone else, he became very hostile and was trying to pry so much about who I decided to go get my medical coverage with. I have nicely told him multiple times that it was none of his business and to just cancel my payment. He then hung up on me. I m going to be absolutely honest with you. I am a healthcare worker. I get hung up all the time by people in my line of work. Why in the world would I want to give my hard-earned money to somebody who hangs up on me! If you want to save yourself any hostility from your lives please avoid First Family Insurance.

Keith was a great person to work with. He provided options that worked for my husband and I and got back to me in a timely fashion if any messages were left. I appreciate and value his excellent customer service! Thank you Keith. Rachel and Brandon
