Big church building, very clean with great amenities, large atrium, gymnasium, bookstore, 2 cafes, playground for toddlers 3 and under. Ample parking around building and street parking surrounding the area.
This place has so many things to offer. A great place to be with God, worship services are always great.
They also have a library where you can borrow, a cafe and a large place to meet new friends, a bookstore with great selections. They have regular activities for you and family.
On the Southside area is where the other cafe with children's playground and its open on Tuesday to Thursdays when I asked today.
Also a prayer room which is best.
Parking is wide and free.
Check their website for more information.
Wow! It's like a country club. They have everything. Play area for the kids, cafe, coffee, bookstore, library, etc. I didn't feel particularly spiritually fed. Im assuming with all the workers here they don't believe in a true Sabbath rest and giving your workers a day of rest. I didn't feel comfortable with young people leading the praise and worship. Biblical principles show that the older should lead the younger not the younger leading the older. I didn't care for the praise and worship music. The facility was comfortable and the people were friendly. There was no real message on seeking a deep personal relationship with God, studying God's word and seeking for yourself.
Call me old fashioned but if I am gonna drive half an hour to be at church shouldn't the pastor be there as well. I mean I could have stayed home and gotten the same message from my phone instead of watching it on a big screen miles from my home.
It is a big church, very clean and lots of amineties, big playground for kids under 3. All the pastors are amazing. I love to join with the choir in praise and worship.
Pastor Cory, Pastor Kyle and Pastor Ray, and, of course Pastor James, all are AMAZING.
The Service is always a great experience.
The band singing the hymns gives you a crave for more. Everyone really touches your heart. Thank you ALL, especially to my neighbours Anthony Family. Because you glow Jesus in your smile, always, and you shared that experience with me. Thank you
I've never been so can't really say about the in person experience, but I've watched some of the sermons online. Just didn't sit with me for some reason.
The other review I read about a senior pastor who laughs behind people's back about problems then denies it. That makes me question if I would even want to attend here. If I were in Calgary, I'd rather go to Foothills Alliance instead. Like I said, I can't say anything really since I haven't been there in person, but the one review I read about a senior pastor who laughs behind people's back makes me question if people in leadership at FAC are even trustworthy people. Thanks, but No thanks. Looks large also so good luck connecting with people I guess ....
I go here for cadets every Thursday. But besides that I rarely ever come here. Just based off of what I've seen, the church is a very clean, welcoming, and wholesome environment. It's nothing less of what you would expect of a church. It's also usually a host for stampede breakfasts and it hosts every year. Fun place for family and friends to bond and find new friends.
