My wife and I have been Fireteed Members for years and were excited to check out the new property in Dundee. Beautiful house and property. D and Melissa do a great job hosting and making everyone feel welcome. Looking forward to visiting again with family soon!
We had a really enjoyable tasting at Firesteed. Not only was our server (sorry, forgot her name) interesting and personable but the wines were quite good and presented in an educational series. We even got a quick tour of the winery and chatted with wine makers. Not a rush through like some places. I recommend it.
We have be to Firesteed a couple of times and like them because they don't act like wine snobs (plus the wine is great!). Melissa was our server and treated us like we were having a glass of wine with the neighbors. Don't loose the atmosphere we you move into your new digs in Dundee.
The only suggestion I have is start serving Sesame Gruyere Cheese Crisps (from John Wm. Macy's Family Bakery) again. Firesteed turned us on them a couple of years ago. They are addictive.
7 of us did a pairing today at their new tasting room, it was amazing great wine and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I have been a club member for a couple years and have always been happy with their service , but Today was very nice and fun to see the excitement in D and Melissa as they told us about the history of firesteed and this new tasting room looking forward to see it all unfold
Great tasting room in the middle of the gorgeous Willamette Valley wine country. The new location of the tasting room is beautiful! Cant wait to experience all the exciting updates they have planned for the property. It is absolutely worth the drive to Dundee if you are used to visiting the previous tasting room location. Melissa, the tasting room manager, is always warm and welcoming. We just love her! She really knows wine and the surrounding area. Highly recommend doing a wine tasting here! Cheers!
We have a local restaurant that stocked up on Firesteed's 2014 Pinot Gris. We ate there four times 2016 - 2019 and ordered the same wine each time. Best Pinot Gris I have tasted--very complex and apparently age worthy to some extent. Too bad they are not more widely available.
Firesteed is my favorite local wine. Always a hit when shared with others. I ve had wonderful experiences with Melissa there. She s so knowledgeable and brings cheer to each conversation!
We had a wonderful experience when we picked up our wine club allocation and had a tasting at the Dundee Manor. Melissa and D were so welcoming as they showed us around the place and told us about lots of great plans moving forward. It was so exciting to see and so relaxing (we were the first to sit in the new comfy brown chairs right after they were delivered). We look forward to coming back, watching the property evolve and, of course, enjoying more Firesteed wine!
We totally loved visiting the winery s new location. It shows Oregon at its best.
The wines are amazing, we bought two cases, we love to share with our friends and family.
We were fortunate to be given a tour of the tasting room and the B and B facilities, can t wait to go and stay there.
