Went here as a kid, it really was one of my best summers, I don t really focus on the Christianity part, but it s an amazing camp. I think the theme still goes Bo, bo, squatin-dotin doe, itta, bitta, ish-billy wotten dotten, bo-bo squatin-dotin, bo-bo ska-woah, fircreek day camp go go go! Lol I would recommend.

Kids had the most amazing time at Spring Break camp! Fun, energetic counselors, lots of time outside, adventure trips, singing, great lessons, long days and a good price. More than we even hoped.

My oldest (10) has gone here for years and loves it. He prefers it over the Y camps (not sure on the specifics as the why he likes it better). He is typically all smiles when I pick him up and always covered in dirt. My youngest (5) is attending for the first time this year (2019) and loves it so much. Aqua Zone is her favorite activity. The staff are so great, patient, and caring. In my 5-year olds words about staff, "They are nice, they play with me all the time, and are balls of energy just like me!" Seriously folks, the staff are phenomenal every year, they care about the kids, and they care about their safety. Overall, Fircreek has been a great place for us and so many great memories are being made.

As a Christian, I am disgusted to learn that this camp is doing literally the opposite of what Jesus would have done. Jesus gave two commandments in Mark 12:28-31-- LOVE Him with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength and to LOVE your neighbor as yourself. This camp and it's leadership have fallen far below that standard by firing this young man who would have been a wonderful camp counselor. Shame on you.

Do not recommend! An employee disclosed that they use real bad GMO's, their kitchen had mold, especially in their dishwashing areas, and they reheat their food (soup, eggs, bacon and sausage) up to three times after it's made- before they serve it to you. Not to mention they claim to be a equal employer, but discriminate on sexual orientation and gender identity. They are not a safe employer or safe for your family. I used to volunteer here, but never again!

We absolutely love Fircreek and everything that they are. In the 10+ years that they have been a part of my life I have met so many wonderful people. The Fircreek family will always be a part of my family for years to come. I would definitely recommend this place as this is where my son started out as a Kindergartener and is now a Counselor.

Funny how the majority of the reviews say nothing about personal experience of Fircreek. Most sounded like an angry mob so I just pulled out the ones that sounded real and credible and decided to give this camp a try instead of the one down south. Anyway, my children came home from camp the most excited I've seen them in a very long time. They are having the time of their life! Seems strongly secure in Biblical truth (there's a reason you send your children to a Christian camp) and safe from what I have seen at the camp (I'm a bit protective so that was important to me). Their website is clear about their foundation with scripture references to back it up. I appreciate that Fircreek is a safe, fun, active place for my kiddos where I don't have to worry too much about bad influences especially at their young ages. We'll be back again for sure!
