Those who read Toronto Star article about company posted this month and know a little about company or people that work there must have been shocked. Myself, I read it twice, could not believe how twisted and wrong it is. Have ever, anyone verified, truly those statements set in the article? I guess, no I know, they did not. Bad really bad, Toronto Star. The company make great product, for so many years I have been a happy customer, and I just happened to have a chance few times to visit Marmora Plant. If anyone would ask me, if after the visit I still would buy their product, I would say, I am buying it, and because I have seen how it is made I would recommend it to all my friend. Some really needs to retract this article, wrong, badly done Toronto Star. Is there someone responsible?
This is the worst company in Canada, Two people already lost their life in that sh*t factory with no safety or respect for the employees. the Russian gang brought their culture with them to Canada, the gov of Ontario must act quickly against those losers
Omg the worst place to ever be... Misha the supervisor is terrible.. this man is an emotional abuser. If you ever want to work in Canada please don't ever work there not until Misha is fired.. 3 days of work but trust Me I heard it all. The supervisor is a grumpy pig I swear on my life... Say no to the job. 11hrs of work with just 45mins break. He always has something bad or insulting to say when you're actually doing perfectly fine or working hard... best for Russians though.. for me I can't take it..
No surprised to see management pay for 5 stars. This place is currupt, I wouldn't come back here again. Mainly Russian managed, they disregard to what health and safety pertains or what human rights are. This company primarily prays on the uninformed and new immigrants. There is a reason why there products are so cheap, I would suggest their clients to purchase responsibly Ie Wallmart, Tim Hortons, Costco, metro ect...
Who are these 5 star losers trying to fool? Click on their profile and you will see the other decietful ratings.
After reading the article and looking at the posted pictures.., what a trash talk!! Place is clean and well organized ... you can see they make product with care and a pride..
Horrible company, read the Toronto Star article on them.
work site is exaggerated, it is safer than most, plus tasty croissants
My wife worked here in 2002 when she was new to Canada didn't know english, good memories going to pick her up at night. Thanks Fiera Foods for giving her the chance to integrate to Canada, she only worked there for 2 months but it was good for her training as a new canadian resident.
