Filthy McNasty's Belfast Review

It's filthy, it's nasty, it's Filthy McNasty! Located in the Filthy Quarter this place is a good one to start the night off at.

Top notch dingy vibes, it's fun and welcoming. We go here on the regular, prices are decent and the beers are cold.

Favourite bar/club to go in belfast...great beer garden, nice cocktail bar, usually a good band in front bar and upstairs great club especially on a Sunday

The drinks were Tasty McYummy, the vibe was Comfy McFriendly, and the live music was Awesome McLovely.

A reorganisation of the front space means the band are more visible and it's less crowded. Decent rock/pop classics but the atmosphere depends on the crowd.

Not good... It is so crowded and we have to wait half an hour for drinks

Expensive drinks, average waiting time for a drink is 10 mins

We popped in mid afternoon so there wasn't much going on. Seemed a decent place. Liked the music that they were playing as well. Had a nice cold pint of Guinness after being dragged around the shops with the Mrs. Next time we're in Belfast we'll go back on a night time and see what it's really like.

Cocktail bartender are awesome! Well educated.
Stood around 3 minutes alone in this place and found some buddies to hang with. Everybody is friendly in there. Clean and nice place. I m Coming back soon.

I love Monday s because is an open mic night and all the local artists are amazing here.

Close to the etap hotel .. Spartan but well-furnished restaurant, excellent and well presented dishes, to try ....

The real life vikings were very friendly, great additional to the bar. Their magic skills were on point.

Really large place with lots of different places to sit. Cool art on the walls.

Really good atmosphere and great bar staff who where very professional same as the the bouncers. I came from miltion Keynes to Belfast for the day and would definitely come again. Reccomand to anyone looking for great life music and drinks.

Decent place to dance but it's targeted to a very specific group of people, music is not always the best unless you are in the mood for some simple loud electronic kind of deal, drinks are at a decent price and the garden is pretty cute

Won a competition with filthies. I contacted them but they ignored me and therefore I wasn t able to claim the prize. They obviously don t care about their customers

40 minutes for a drink order that was wrong, had to get it reordered due to the mistakes then when they came, wrong again. Place needs to hire more waiting staff and train then so.people aren't waiting 53 minutes for the original drink order, not sure I want to come back table 4 29/30- 08-2020

I really enjoy Filthys. It has grown and developed into it's own unique venue. The days of Dempsey's are gone thankfully. Definitely worth a visit on a night out. From the front bar to the outside areas along with the Gypsy lounge upstairs it has a lot to offer.

Brilliant atmosphere. Young and old, good vibes, outside area.

Spent the afternoon traversing the local bars and for atmosphere, friendly banter and service... this has come out on top. Recommended to anyone who wants to just sit and chill out get a feel for this city as it is just now.

18-20s seem to run this place although it s quite expensive for a pint used to be my favourite Bar but it has went down in recent years due to abusive door staff and bar staff who seem to not know how to deal with a busy bar. Good day drink spot though and Facebook banter is on point!

Somebody recommended this place to me and it was greta, staff was friendly and the terrace on a sunny day is a great spot.

A very busy bar on the dublin road in belfast very popular with all sorts of people

Bearable in the afternoons, but very noisy and busy in the evenings - not so cosy! There is quite a strong smell about the place - I think it is a cleaning product.

Cosy pub with a great beer garden, that has since become a cosy pub with a great beer garden that has a DJ most weeknights making it impossible to be outside. Or inside, because the actually really nice cosy pub will have a full band on, making it insanely loud. Cocktail bar is nice, but there's overflow of music from the other sections. Standardly priced for Belfast.

Sthinkin. 17 quid for two drinks and it stunk like damp foam. Seats were dirty and music was overly loud. Not a good experience

Loved this pub! I was with a large group from the states and we had a great time here! They have an inside and outside bar! It was such a unique looking place I loved it! There was love music when we were there. Not Irish music but it was still cool...

10/10 got yelled at by people about Turkey, and a ton of glasses got broken.

Generally a nice atmosphere with live music such as rock bands and acoustic singers. The outdoors area can be quite cold so bring a warm coat if going.

Flithies has such a good vibe, whether you want to just chill in the smoking area with a pint or have a mad one with your mates.

The beer garden is great and there's plenty of space. The staff are nice and work fast; you still have to fight to get to the front of the bar but that just shows its busy because it's good! It's a fab night out in Belfast or even for a casual drink

If I were a drinker, I would give this place 5 Stars. It is awesome. And it's not their fault that I'm not a drinker, so I probably should give them five stars. They have a wonderful music, and the staff and musicians are super friendly. The atmosphere is colourful and vibrant and a little rough in a very cool way.

Good for young people and groups. Mostly college aged people. Standard priced drinks for the area. Different vibe at each bar in the building.

I was unfortunately here during Fresher's week, so I felt very old and out of place. (It wasn't my idea to go there and I was sure my friends and I were going to be turned away. Probably should have been!) However, the bar seemed cool, there's an awesome outdoor area and I'm sure on a less teenager-orientated night it would be a great place. I'll have to revisit to verify, until then 3-stars.

Great seating area out the back with open fires and coved smoking area. Perfect winter spot, if a little expensive.

Its kind of average feeling .. crowd are divided between bar in lower and upper as well pub so mixed feeling..bar is good anyway..enjy night life
