Filomena's Lakeview Review

I would like to thank the person who called the restaurant and paid for our dinner tonight. The meal was very good a very appreciated. Alway enjoy Filomena's.

Excellent service. Great choice of appetizers and entrees are delicious!

I had gone for a baby shower, there were 2 other parties going on at the same time. The place was very nice and the food was okay. Vegan options were lacking.There seemed to be only one server doing his job for a party of 50 people so food came out sort of slow. The 3 courses included a salad, pasta with an okay sauce and the entree. The location is nice, parking is decent and bar was okay.

Waitress dropped plate, shattered everywhere, never asked if I was ok. It hit my leg but no blood. Sorry not waitress, busgirl.

The food is delicious. Be sure to have the fried tomato appetizer! Ask for Priscilla. She's great!

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Food is always excellent and the bar staff is always friendly and accommodating, especially Tommy behind the bar. It s also a great place to get some work done with free WIFI and comfortable setting. Cheers!

Food was delicious but portions could've been larger for the price.

Food and service were both excellent even for a group of 15 or so people with some showing up late. Server put the dinner at a good pace and everyone's food came out together. Everyone thought the food was great and the portions are very generous.

Lunch, service and waitress was great. First time we ate there but will be back.

I've visited this restaurant on multiple occasions... most recently last weekend. I haven't been disappointed yet. The food is consistently good. The service is second to none, beginning with the ladies at the front desk... always smiling and helpful.

Best place to get good Italian food in Deptford. It's a bit pricey but you pay for what you get. Staff is attentive when they're not busy. I recommend this place. The earlier you get here the better. It's hard to get quality service when they aren't busy. When it's an off hour or they aren't busy -- you're treated like royalty.

FYI -- if this place is busy -- check out their Blackwood location down the road. It's similar but not as upscale. You can tell which place is their crown jewel.

Very nice restaurant. Service and meal were excellent.

Started with tender flavorful grilled octopus. I had risotto de pesce. Lobster scallops and shrimp in a light tomato flavored rice. Not a super creamy risotto but very good. Hubby had veal parmesan. Tender and cheesy with a great rest sauce over linguine. Ended our meal with creme brulee and chocolate mousse cake. Chocolate was the best. Cream brulee was creamy with s nice crisp to. Very nice meal. Great service.

From appetizers to main dish to dessert was amazing

My boyfriend and I decided to spend our one year anniversary at Filomena Lakeview restaurant after nothing but good reviews. Unfortunately we had the worse experience ever. Our waiter had poor customer service, our food was uncooked and we both spent our night hugging the toilet because of something we ate. I contacted the restaurant and spoke to the manager Chris and the only thing he could say was All I can promise is the next time your experience will be different . There won t be a next time. I will be sure not to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We love Filomena's Lakeview and always get a great meal. Today was just a Happy Hour at the bar which is always packed but bartender, Tommy, keeps things moving. The bar menu is great and reasonable. We like to celebrate special occasions at Filomena's and are never disappointed.

Why is this the best restaurant in Jersey or Philly, that's easy to sum it up,, the food the atmosphere and mostly Chef Mario and his wife Donna

Best Restaurant Food in South Jersey! Nice atmosphere! Highly suggest making a reservation. : )

The BEST Happy Hour in South Jersey! Not your typical bar food. Tuesday night is Buck a Shuck Oysters. Fresh, delicious oysters, I'm guessing Cape May in origin. After a dozen, I had to have a dozen more! $2.50 per Stella Draft...Always ice cold. Waitresses are all on top of their game with quick, accurate service. Also had an eggplant appetizer with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, spritzed with EVOO, and seasoned with two fresh basil leaves, and fresh pesto. Priced Right, and NOT friend bar fare. I hesitate to give such a positive review, because tables at the bar are already difficult to come by, but when you find a gem like Filomena's, it just wouldn't be fair not to share it!

Food was very good especially the crab bisque! Whenever I dine out, more often than not, I leave with a doggie bag, but this time I did not. Soft shell crabs were very tasty, and the crab meat was plentiful and succulent. The accompanying vegetables I found bland tasting and dull in choice. Dessert - delicious - chocolate mousse layer cake with chocolate canache - yum!

Extremely disappointed with the quality and taste of the food (well the lack thereof). Visited for my pre-birthday from out of town and it was a waste of time and money. The crab cakes were unappetizing my mom couldn t eat them, the chicken Parmesan lacked flavor in every aspect couldn t eat it. My sister s burger lacked flavor as well. We didn t receive any utensils and napkins for our meals. We paid quite a bit of money for our food and threw most of it away.

I had lunch outside on the patio. It was nice, a good breeze. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was good, a little bit of a wait and it was just pasta and a salad. The white peach sangria was very satisfying and for dessert Tiramisu.

Always receive the best service and their food is amazing.

Great atmosphere .. perfect for and intimate dinner, or a large family. Parties and groups are welcome as well.
The food is outstanding and the service has always been top notch.
Pricing it moderate, and well worth it.

Fantastic Italian food with a great atmosphere. I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. They have a great happy hour with a large selection of Happy Hour appetizers. Try the Broccoli Rabe with Northern white beans and Italian Sausage, Stuffed Italian Long Hots, or wood fired pizzas. Try anything here and you will not be disappointed.

The food is ok but the bartending service isn't always prompt.

The food is incredible! Its always a good meal. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The staff is super friendly. There are specials at the bar. This is my go to restaurant.

Overpriced, limited selection, and food was just ok. Better food, selection, and price at Olive Garden.

Excellent waiter very personable like he shoulda been sitting with us. We sat a 12 top late and he acted like we were his first customers. Bravo.

Their lunch menu includes a wealth of wonderful dishes. Our group chose from most of the menu's diverse options and we were all quite satisfied with Filomena's execution on each one. I would absolutely go here again and again after this, my very first visit, so I could sample every other item on the menu. I highly recommend Filomena's.

It's close by the food is delicious beautiful atmosphere the one thing they need to do is not have country western music in the bar while people are dining in the restaurant it's an Italian restaurant it should offer only Italian music and their catering services are wonderful for parties

Food is absolutely fenominal! About a month ago I was able to order take out, tonight was told no. Sad, won't be going there again.
