The building inside is very nice but from the outside it looks like it was built of corrugated metal. Archtekci must have been under the influence of austerity because otherwise this architectural crime can not be explained. They could do this philharmonic hall in neo-Gothic style. At least to blend in with the panorama of the city. The sad thing is that the external appearance has been spoiled.

A white building, with a white interior, a bit monotonous, but someone must have liked it, and tastes are not discussed, I only hope that someday I will be here as a listener, and not as someone who was allowed to enter the main hall

The first thing that catches the eye is the interesting, for some controversial building block. Modern, very bright and spacious interior. The sensational acoustics of this place means that every music lover but also the average music listener will appreciate the Philharmonic.

Beautiful building, I praise it when I meet people from other places in Poland. Acoustics are great, beautiful concerts, cool events and a wonderful place at all. He's holding an international level.

An interestingly designed building. A nicely landscaped space inside, interesting, modern finishes. The building is different and intrigues with its thoughtful modernity and functionality. I am glad that it is being built in Poland. In addition, comfortable seating and what is most important in the Philharmonic is good acoustics and fantastic modern lighting. The object is a pearl.

A beautiful building, wonderful acoustics. Well organized concerts. People working there are very familiar with their work. Keep it up. Certainly, you can recommend to every philharmonic and everyone will find something for themselves, because the repertoire is really diverse. With a clear conscience I can recommend.

The Philharmonic is one of the most modern in the world. Its shape raises a lot of extreme emotions. However, I really like the exterior lighting of the building, whose colors can be modified depending on the needs. The philharmonic hall has hosted and will probably host many top-level artists.

The philharmonic building itself is very interesting, but mainly from outside. The concert hall is rather average, it does not provide unusual acoustic sensations. The performance of a (specific) concert by the local orchestra is rated as good, but without fireworks. The elevator ride threatens not to reach the concert hall in time.

The idea to build a new seat of the Philharmonic in the place of the now defunct Concert House (Konzerthaus) was born in 2004. The Philharmonic needed more and more modern space, because the institution "grew" from the then occupied wing of the City Hall. On the other hand, Szczecin saw the concert hall in the uprising
at the intersection of Ma opolska and Matejki streets, a symbolic reference to the musical history of the city. Three years later, a competition for the concept of a new philharmonic was announced. From among the proposals of forty-four workshops from around the world, the jury chose a project developed by Barozzi / Veiga studio from Barcelona.

The ice block of the building already in the first phase of the implementation was hailed as a new icon of the city, and the portal bryla.pl recognized it as one of the most interesting investments in the country. The project also took the first place in the prestigious Eurobuild Awards 2014 competition in the Best Architectural Design of the Year category. Architects made efforts to take into account the context in which the project was to be embedded. The building is distinguished by courage and lightness, but at the same time it creates a coherent line with the neo-Gothic buildings of the surroundings.

The interior of the philharmonic hall is over 12,000 square meters of space, spread over four floors, in which there are, among others: symphony hall, chamber chamber, rehearsal rooms, music store, cafe, spacious foyer and artists' rooms, instrument and office warehouse.

Symphony Hall, also known as the Sun Room, can accommodate 953-person audience. The perfect acoustics of the Solar Room has its source in the special geometry of walls and ceilings, developed by architects together with dr. Higini Arau, a Barcelona specialist in the field of architectural acoustics. All parameters of the symphony hall (strength, uniformity of sound, delay time and lateral reflection coefficient) give the effect compared to the model of this type of realization - the Musikverein concert hall in Vienna.

In a chamber room - designed for 192 people - the reverberation time is consistent with the projected one hundredth of a second. Hence, this room has been called the "acoustic pearl".

On a daily basis, the white facade of the Philharmonic can have many colors in different configurations. The ceremonial opening of the new headquarters took place with the start of the artistic season 2014/2015.

The interior of the philharmonic building is not adapted to free movement between floors. No clear indications of the way to the concert halls. The elevator operates from the first floor, where it can be reached by steep, wide stairs. Above, on the 2nd floor, there is an entrance to the room filled with rows of narrowly uncomfortable chairs.
The entire balcony is located on two levels connected by internal steep stairs. In addition, the ticket office does not let people out (during the concert) through the zero level door, forcing them to climb one floor above, to the exit located at the last row of the balcony.
As you can see, it is not easy for viewers with locomotor dysfunction to overcome these strange architectural barriers. The concert hall has good acoustics, although the design in gold and the shape of the vault does not appeal to everyone.
In the lobby on the ground floor there is a well-stocked buffet, but shocking with high product prices. I paid 70 zlotys for three teas and three pieces of cake! The annual Charity Concert organized by the Rotary Club was great. Young talents, not only from Szczecin, presented a high artistic level.

Wonderful place! The building itself won the award of 2015 for the best building in Europe. It is on external scales very well merges into the architecture of the old city. Also inside very beautifully made and hall and halls. The Golden Hall is wonderful. Very majestic atmosphere in it, 2 floors. And what is interesting is that during performances on stage there is a screen on which they can simultaneously include broadcasts. There are also places for spectators behind-the-scenes on the 2nd floor.

One of the most beautiful places in Szczecin. After crossing the door you enter another world and this is just the beginning. Philharmonic concert hall with excellent acoustics. The only problem is the availability of tickets that are always missing.

Sound nice, always full audience. The service is also great. What I don't really like is the fact that the philharmonic hall could have been larger. There are also no balconies, these additional chairs by the gods on the floor are not a good idea.

modern abomination.
from afar looks like made of white corrugated sheet. shape should be the reference to the old buildings around but that doesn't work out at all, architect obviously didn't see them in real life. 'Gold chamber' looks more like cheap bronze plastic chamber. The main hall looks interesting though.
