Anderson Donatos Review

We love Donatos and got it all the time at our old house. When we moved to this delivery area the quality dropped off dramatically. The Donatos flavor is still there but something has been messed up every single time we have ordered. Forgetting 1/2 the toppings, completely wrong at times or forget all the sauces. This last time we tried to call back to let them know and after literally 15 minutes on hold, they hung up on us. Completely unacceptable and very poorly managed. So disappointing because we love Donatos.

Fantastic service and wonderful pizza! I have been to many Donatoes and this one is top notch!!

Not my normal pizza spot but we wanted something different. My son really enjoyed the meatball sub.

Our order was placed online & was supposed to be ready for pickup at 7:24 pm,
We waited an extra 25 minutes only to receive the wrong order.
Not to mention while waiting for the order
My husband noticed the lady in the back that was making subs was touching a dirty towel going back & forth from stations with no gloves & made all the subs with bare dirty hands & no hair net while mentioning she needed a cigarette!!!.... Disgusting!!!!
On a positive note the guy working the front counter was very polite, professional, & patient.
But needless to say we cancelled our order & he gladly refunded our money & apologized

Very poor experience attempting to pick up a Doordash order. Employees were rude and not helpful. Will not return as a customer or driver.

This location has a nice set up the dinning area's really clean mourning till noon is usually quite there's free Wi-Fi and it has a party room or room for any occasion made with reservations

It's hard enough for my husband and I to live in Anderson where we see very few people of color and to always hope we don't have to deal with racism or discrimination. When I brought my pizza back to Donatos because it was soggy and lukewarm by the time it was delivered, the gentleman didn't do much to account for the fact that I paid for delivery with an 18% tip to the driver and yet I had to come to the store anyway. He wasn't rude but he was not at all accomodating. I'm not one of those people that will curse somebody out for bad service but I wish I was. And I couldn't help but wonder if I was a white lady with a similar issue, would he have been just as accommodating. I doubt it. So I had to just sit there feeling helpless and upset because there was nothing I could do about his non-chalant attitude and the bad service that I unapologetically received. So to the black Anderson residents, I'm not saying this store is racist but just order with caution. Right now, I'm waiting at Mod for my pizza. I received excellent service. I should've came here at first.

Get the pepperoni and the Hawaiian! Best Hawaiian pizza - they add cinnamon and almond slivers.

Horrible service, I waited over an hour for 1 pizza, a calzone and a salad, when I complained about the wait, the employee just said he didn't know what to do, I just got a refund instead of my food.

Always amazing. Thin crust with toppings edge to edge.

This pizza is my favorite in the area and I had never tried until last year. I drive from eastgate dor carry out. The cheese is the best (I know that sounds crazy.) Dining room always seems exceptionally clean the numerous times ive picked up an order or ate inside. A lot of places that dont have constant traffic in the dining room seem to neglect this area or not clean every table if there isn't a big mess. All the workers I've dealt with seem to care about their job and take it seriously which makes for the best quality pizza and matching customer service. Keep it up!

I write this as a warning to others. I wish I didn't spend my money here on delivery tonight. I ordered extra mushrooms on my sandwich, and I only got four. Hardly any gravy. Food was lukewarm. I should have called to report the food, but based on how terrible the food was I determined it would not be worth my time.

The woman with glasses, has the most disgusting customer service I have ever encountered. I will take my business to a kinder and more professionally run establishment. Very upsetting experience.

I plan on coming in tomorrow on a short visit from Southern Illinois. I'm originally from Columbus, and I always come by and get me a pizza or two to remind me of home!

Donatos is my favorite!! Just a pepperoni and cheese pizza and breadsticks and I'm great!!!!!

Donates is my favorite place to eat for myself and my family. Just moved from the city,Where I would frequently go to city locations (O.T.R.. and Rookwood ) NEVER had a problem.
But this ANDERSON location is RACIST and Extremely RUDE!! Will never patronage this place again! I wish I could put NEGATIVE 5 STARS

Very expensive pizza that tastes like burnt cardboard with a dash of ketchup, customer service nonexistent when pizza was cold!
Won t return, going back to Dominos in Mt Washington!

Placed an online order. The information said order will be ready for pickup at 621pm. My mother and I go to do the pickup and we're told the order was overlooked and not made yet. Had already paid for the $30.00+ order before anyone informed us that the order wasn't made yet. Waited another 40 minutes for the order to be made (this was on a Thursday night). Spoke to the "GM" and told there would be a $35.00 credit for a future order & they cant give a gift card. Just call or place an order in store...Well we called today and the man taking the order yelled at my elderly mother said its a 10.00 credit and just take it or leave it. She decided to place the order. Even after the terrible customer service. The pizza was burnt and the staff was rude when picking up the order. Highly recommend NOT going there. Very disappointed because the pizza is generally a good choice over other pizza restaurants.

Don't ever order anything. Don't waste your money at all. The pizza was super small and burned and so expensive. The guy who delivered was so rude. This is my first and last time to order anything from them.

We ordered two subs and cinnamon bread tonight for pick-up. Order was not ready when my husband arrived but he said the place was disgusting. Bad language, dirty, etc. When he brought the subs home and opened his (see photo of steak hoagie sub) it was a mess - he could only eat half of it - there was so much sauce on it it was disgusting to eat. Look at the photo on our order page then look at how his looked. He told me to throw the other half away which I did. Mine was the ham and cheese sub and it was OK - little messy but edible. Then we opened the cinnamon bread dessert and the photo attached shows what it looked like. My husband said he would NEVER go back there again!

This particular location needs to get alot better in their customer service department and also their food. I had spent close to $50 dollars to feed some family only to encounter burnt food half the order and no type of customer appreciation! Then I had to wait for over 30m to receive the rest of my order and on top of that!! I tipped the driver the first time don't waste your money here the service is horrible. You have been warned don't waste your money. $55 dollars wasted talk about upset.

I ordered 20 pizzas for an event I was having, didn't get a very good discount, and they were all burned and terrible looking. EPIC FAIL!!!!!

Everytime I have ordered I receive it super fast. The delivery guys have always been at the least cordial, some nicer than others. No issue. The pizza is awesome, thin crust and quality ingredients. Only reason for 4 stars instead is 5 is they frequently forget the red pepper packets and parmesan cheese packets that I order with it. Anyway, their food is miles above gross Papa John's, Pizza Hut and Domino's.

The best thin crust pizza in the tri-state area. Only problem is that it won't fill me up. The pizza is great but this location is not the cleanest. Still great pizza for carry out. I just would not dine in.

Ordered at 6:25 and told 20 minutes, arrived at 6:55 and pizza was not even ready. Finally ready at 7:20 pm... 10 other people inside the store waiting just the same! Change your wait time if you expect over an hour wait and don t give ATTITUDE to the people waiting patiently for YOUR MISTAKE
