Fiesta Texas Theme Park Review

Fun place to bring the kids but beware it can get REALLY busy and the lines can get a little long (even the lines for parking and the lines to get IN to the park) so if you can splurge and get the flash pass for the rides I highly recommend you do so, so you're not spending your whole day waiting in lines. I've been here multiple times and my only issue so far has been that the lines for food or drink can sometimes be just as long as the lines for the rides! That being the reason I didn't give it a full five stars.

It's fun for the whole family and has alot of thrilling rides and has awesome events on holidays.

Lots of fun. Only wish all the rides were running, and that the food wasn't so expensive and gross. Even so, lots of great rides for all ages.

Waterpark is fun. Lots to do! The Boomerang and, Batman are fun especially for plus sized people :) have fun!

It was packed for Fright fest. Last year was better in my opinion. Wonder woman broke down twice and I stood in line till closing and got to ride it.

this place is so much better with the diamond pass. Id recommend it

WORST SIX FLAGS EVER...... We spent 7 hours at the park and was only able to ride about 4 out of the 9 rides we waited in line for... This is not an exaggeration at all. Every time we almost got to the front of the line, the ride would break down.... when we tried to complain about the issue all they could offer us was another visit but we are not from the state. Here are the times of each breakdown and ride we went on.....

Arrived around 12:15pm

Boomerang roller coaster @ 1:00 broke down.
Waited 30 to get to the ride then broke down. Waited another 20 and no ride.

Superman roller coaster @2:25 broke down!
Waited 30 minutes to get to the ride then broke down. Waited another 25 and finally got on the ride.

Fireball ride @4:20 broke down. Waited about 20-30 in line just to get to the front.. Left after another 15 minutes. Never got back working.

Walked over to pandemonium got into the line waited about 10 minutes and that ride also broken down @ 4:35 never got to ride. Said it will be shut down for a while so left. People were stuck on 2 sections of the track and had to be escorted off through the maintenance rails 20 minutes later. The ride did not reopen.

Walked to the Goliath @5:30 again got into line and was having issues after being in line again for 20 minutes. It finally reopened as we had enough and walked out of the park at @7:00pm

Walked to road runner @6:10 and once again issues with the ride. We waited in line for a good 20 minutes. Stayed to see how long this will take and being told could be up to 30 minutes if we are lucky.

So we finally had enough and left around 7:00pm worst Six Flags trip ever! Save your money!!! I would understand maybe one or two rides breaking down but when it 5 rides out of the 9 rides.... That s just not acceptable at all. I m truly surprised that for a large company like this they couldn t give me a refund.

Jizelle manager went above and beyond satisfaction at the park ! It was extremely busy and we are military family that had a conference same day ! We all went to park to free some family fun ! We were having issues with our gold passes .. she helped sort it out so we could enjoy our time with our group and saved the children from missing out ! This speaks in volumes ! She needs praised and recognized ! She made a huge difference in our visit and others should follow ! Thanks so much !!!

We always love Fiesta Texas but would have liked to have known that Superman and Wonderwoman ride were gonna be down both days we were there.

Food vendor lines take way too long and way overpriced. 27$ parking WHAT A RIP OFF! THEYRE MAKING A KILLING JUST OFF OF PARKING. THE RIDES ARE EXCELLENT! LINES WERE TOO LONG AT THE RIDES, BUTTTTT WE WERE THERE ON BUSY FIESTA CELEBRATION WEEKEND.

Excellent place for all ages....however I do highly recommend you bring your own lunch or you are looking at spending a pretty penny for food. Also get the seasonal cups they come in handy for free refills . If you are a thrill seeker they got you from the rattler to the road runner( perfect rollercoaster for first timers) if you are more water rides the water park is free! Love the Lazy River. If you want a great family ride the Gully Washer is an awesome experience. All this is pricey but worth the family time (especially the waiting in lines) But good memories to be made.

Our family of 8 went on our yearly vacation 2020 during the pandemic and the staff was very cautious and courteous. Everything was clean.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do! Spent the whole day there (11am-8pm) and still didn't ride every ride! We are planning on coming back Friday!

Visiting during an awesome time! Longest wait time was less than 10 minutes! They also have some great, light, eats from New Orleans for Mardis Gras!

The lines aren't bad most days with a lot of fun stuff to do. The season pass with dining pass is definitely worth investing in if you are local and can go a lot. I went over 30 times last summer. (Mostly for the free food my dining pass provided.)

The location is close to where I live, season passes are super cheap close to the end of summer. Great place to just go and forget about adulting.

Too crowded, horrible food! (Not one healthy choice anywhere), over priced, half the rides are closed. Now I remember why Astroworld closed, dumpy!

Love the Scream Ride, but they really need to work on cleaning up the trash more often, way too dirty of a theme park.

I am upset that I m still being charged the membership fees even though the park is closed. Being charged for 5 memberships plus the meal pass during a period in which the park is closed due to a national emergency is NOT good customer service. Can t get anyone on the phone, and to cancel my membership requires a 30 day notice. I think six flags should step out and do the right thing by pausing all automatic payments since the park closed and until the park reopens.

Prices are perfect... line wait times for ride are not horrible but not short... multiple rides are randomly closed making longer lines for other rides... the food lines can be just as long as the rides which is ridiculous...I think the biggest problem is they are way understaffed... they are always out of ice and food is GROSS but if your hungry enough it s edible lol ... overall not bad but could use some improvements!

Love, love the singing Xmas trees. Plus we went to the 7.15 nativity show and it was fantastic. The monitor was very good and had a wonderful voice. Food in the park is not very desirable

Great if you love rollercoasters, but expensive to non rollercoaster riders.

Waited an hour in one line for passes, then another hour to fix the passes they messed up at the gate. Misinformed about the payment for parking from park entry to member services. Concession stands closed down from inadequate coverage. And the only reason we will return is because we spent$410 on passes we can't get our money back on.

we had so much fun, the place was packed so we had to wait long lines to get on rides. There is something for everyone in the family.

I really appreciate the fact that smaller children can have fun here too. My younger one is too short for some of the thrill rides but he still has a blast every time. There is a huge variety of rides for a huge variety of people. They have some great thrill rides and lots of rides that the whole family can enjoy. There are quite a few super lame tiny tot rides that would bore any normal adult but its great for the 2-6 year old set. I also really appreciate how easy it is to stay hydrated at the park. They do allow you to bring in water bottles. Additionally every place that serves food will give you free ice water, a few of the gift shops have coke freestyle machines with free water, and there are two separate areas on opposite ends of the park that are drink stations for soda or water refills. The prices have gotten pretty insane. I believe the parking is up to $28 dollars now plus tickets are over $80 each if you buy them at the gate. If you don't live in the area and are only going for a day you can save a lot buying tickets and prepaying for food online. If you will go even twice in a year I highly recommend the membership with dining pass its less than $20 a month for both and includes free parking. With the membership I feel like I'm getting a pretty good value but paying one day admission plus parking plus insane food and drink prices is down right painful. I would probably give it 5 stars even with the high prices but I have to take 1 star off because of the food available at the park. It's very high priced and it is almost always cold, the bbq place and pizza place are spot on but every other restaurant regularly serves barely warm or cold food. Again with the dining pass the food prices are less painful but there are at least 5 places to get a burger and not one of them can manage to serve a hot burger. Overall it's still an awesome day but it is pretty disappointing that a place that does so much so well can't get something as simple as a burger right.

Awesome place but unfortunately if you a big fella your limited on the rides you can get on. Also some of the rollercoasters arent meant for people with back injuries which I appreciated them posting the warning signs. Kids had a blast though.

Half the ride had technically trouble and was not running

It was birthday weekend, had trouble at front gate, with printed tickets, also had purchase what was thought to be fright night tickets but was an admission ticket. Paid double admission. Couldn't not get refund due to third party website. Went to ride goliath rollercoaster daughter was not allowed to get one ride operator said my daughter was 3/4 of inch to short. Just decided to leave. Probably one of the worst experiences I've had every in SA and fiesta texas.

Fun place, but after going to Universal & Disney in FL I can t give them 4 or 5 stars...simply not on the same level for the rides and experience. It was also pretty obvious they spare MANY expenses when it comes to customer comforts.

They really went all out for fright fest. The rides are great. Unfortunately a specific few of the employees working the drink stands dont know proper customer service skills . I had say "what" several tea because the couldn't speak up from a full mumble. Other than that I had a fantastic time and will be going back.

Our first time, we were kind of rushed but it was still a good time

Fun place to visit with a wide array of theme park rides. The only complaint is that many of the rides are extremely old and worn down to the point of only being somewhat functional. Somewhat disappointing considering the price per person.

The cons: There were too many attractions close, the food is nasty and over price. The pros: an average of 20 minutes waiting time on most of the attractions which compare to other theme parks is great, the place is clean, the Bat man ride is one of the craziest that I ever ride

I love how this place is clean and has a lot of fun attractions and very good and especially the roller coasters I like the roller coasters a lot myself I'm actually roller coaster enthusiast

Six flags is a spot my friends and family go to somewhat regularly. I suggest going on weekdays because you ll get the best experience. Overall, when the rides are working and the weather is nice, six flags is a great place to spend the day. Summer fireworks are also very pretty. One star off because this park seems to be run by teenagers, and that makes me feel uneasy.

We had a wonderful Easter holiday. The crowds weren't too big so the waits to get on the rides were okay.it was a lovely day. My only complaint is that I went on the Texas Gunslinger and the woman at the booth messed up the $15 video I paid for. Had no idea what she was doing. Saved it in the wrong format. Hopefully I can get a refund.

Perfect time to go, wasnt too crowded and wait times were not too long plus it was nice and windy. I had the best time showing my foreign friend around and he loved it too .

It's not worth $70 to ride each ride once maybe twice. If you get in on a slow day I'm sure it's nice. But every ride has 1+hr wait and concessions are ran by morons. Their has got to be a better way to run a amusement park

I was there for an early morning charity walk so I can't review the rides etc.

Awesome, had a great time. Great friendly staff, the New ride " the Joker " also experienced a great thrill!!! Most of the restrooms have hand sanitizer gel, for any worries or thoughts. Thank you, Six Flags!

******Please bring back the superman roller coaster googles ******. I love Fiesta Texas so much that I get season passes and drive from Houston to come here. It's a beautiful park that stands out from other amusement parks. It has a great selection of thrill rides for coaster enthusiast (a Flash Pass is a must buy for really busy days) and a good kids area. The water park is also included with your park admission. The food isn't cheap but it's good. The park is well maintained and safe.

Lots of fun, there are rides for little kids and thrill seekers alike!

This place is okay. I recently visited Six Flags Fiesta for my spring break which might explain why the lines were so long but the atmosphere was terrible. Everyone was negative and there were plenty of line jumpers. Superman took 1 hour to get to ride on and food was terrible. I would only recommend if you love the amusement experience.

This Six flags was a nice change of pace.

It was good. Just like the other..everything needs a paint job. Some updating here and there would be good for six flags.
I love the hills as you drive in, and it s nice to look out on the rock while on a ride.

Arrive weekdays early to avoid lines. Food is expensive but all day drink cups and meal plans make it reasonable. The Iron Rattler looks scary but my 9 year old grandson handled it easy. Superman is the most fun.

We went on New Year's day and all of the Christmas shows were finished. Next year we will go before Christmas.

I've been robbed! We paid admission to six flags fiesta texas just to find out that they are only operating 3 rollercoasters, all the others are closed. Then 2 of the ones that were opened got delayed! The fair outside of mall parking lots is a lot more entertaining that this. This place is extremely poorly managed and might soon have the faith of astro world. I would not recommended coming here and of i was not with my girl i would leave right now! Extremely upset on how six flags is conducting business!

The park is always clean. The employees are nice. Recommend to get the membership passes, there are so many benefits and they have a little bit of everything for all the family to enjoy.

By far one of the best things in San Antonio. I want to mention early that this should be a five star review. It's not currently, but I hope to change it one day. This is only because the park seems..old..run down and outdated in places. They are constantly adding, which is great, but they need a little more tlc to some of the places. I would like to highlight the German cafeteria which is my favorite place to stop and eat, especially since it has three pokestops in it. However, the lines get crowded and the soda machines can't handle the 2018 traffic.

Other than that one improvement. To clearify, the improvement is to update the old parts of the park. This place is super! And since I know a lot of people will be asking for recendations on what pass to get. Here's the thing:
Skip the season pass, it's really a waste of money.
Do a member ship. There are different tiers, each fitting every family a bit different. But honestly the best value is diamond elite. Just trust me it makes the whole experience worth while. Even just after one visit!

Oh and iron rattler is still the best ride!

Rides - friendly & helpful staff - rides - the only pricey is the food that's a killer for any body

We went on a Sunday and I guess that was maintenance day. Most of the rides we would wait in line for 30 minutes or more to just get turned away at the front of the line due to the ride needing maintenance. The rest of the park rides were clean and enjoyable. Just next time I ll be more selective on which day of the week I ll go next time.

Fun place all around but there's no reason to wait 45 minutes to get drinks. They need to come up with a better system for ordering food, having just a refill line, and perhaps hiring more employees to keep the flow going

There's something for everyone here to enjoy, assuming the train is working on the one day you bring your elderly grandmother and aunt.
