If you want to taste a premium beer ... Choose an "Export Porter". Attention, 10.5 degrees. It doesn't matter, it is canned beer, but certainly a premium beer

When I crave a cheeseburger it's probably the royale with cheese they serve here. Bread gets a bit soggy but damn thats a good tasting burger.

I ordered Rotisserie Amsterdam via Deliveroo on 1st January. I'm hoping that the experience in no way sets the tone for the rest of the year. I'd ordered chicken, fries, ribs, corn and a beer. A half-cooked chicken, corn, and the wrong variety of beer was all that arrived. Happy New Year.

From 7 euros for half a chicken, to 10?!?! And tell them that it is because there is a new supplier ?! I have paid ten more for take away than I did a week or three before, for exactly the same! That is completely ridiculous .. And another chicken .. I have not tasted a difference. By the way, when I look at your online menu, the (low) prices are still valid. Is just theft

This place is a bit hit and miss. First time we went it was amazing. Second time not so good- brunt chicken, very long wait, main courses arriving 10 minutes apart. Nice selection of drinks.

The monthly burger special from Rotisserie alone is a good reason to visit this store every four weeks. Less adventurous? Then go for a Royale With Cheese and a Brooklyn Lager - or the f * cking everything if you are really hungry.

Some of the best burgers in town. Our family's favorite is basically any burger but then with the addition of "chili crunch" (peanuts & chili) - delish! Fun selection of beers & good music & attentive staff

Ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken for takeaway and I absolutely enjoyed it! The texture was juicy and tender and it was so flavourful! Loved the smokey touch to it too. I would recommend ordering it with the blue cheese ranch dressing.

Oven heating is also possible at 180degrees for around 5-6 minutes.

Ordering from this restaurant through Deliveroo was the worst experience. We order at 16:12 and were told we should receive our order at 16:30. Then the delivery started getting delayed every 10 minutes until we received the order at 17:40 after one hour and a half (we contacted Deliveroo to cancel the order they said we cant and sorry).The misery doesn't end here, we receive the order the bag was all wet and open and the burgers were cold as ice and all wet as if they were soaked in water. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN

Average table service is bad food nothing too surprising.

Generally friendly staff but we waited 1h20m for the food to arrive (2 people) even though the waiter said it's gonna be 30 min. Nobody seemed to notice the huge delay so there was no starter or water being offered to compensate for the waiting time. The whole place wasn't busy at all so it seemed they simply forgot the order. Also, when asking for ketchup they said to bring it 'no problem' but then started smoking next to us on the patio instead. There are also much better burger places in amsterdam so it was not even worth the waiting time.

Nice beer selection, good service and lovely food. The rotisserie chicken was fantastic. I didn't try the burgers, but they look so good I need to come back to this place to try one.

Amazing food, great atmosphere with very friendly staff and huge selection of beers. Burgers (beef, chicken and vegan options) are huge and gorgeous, portions are generous. Prices are quite low in my opinion for what your getting.
Only bad thing was, we only found out about this place on our last night.
Definitely worth a visit. You won t be disappointed

The food was tasty, but service was very slow and not attentive at all. Also a bit too warm inside (was a hot day in fairness) and all high tables with stools which I never find especially comfy. Worth a visit for the food if you're in the area!

Probably caught them on a bad weekend. They were out of hot wings, out of cauliflower and out of something else I don t remember. And the Bibb lettuce radish and avocado salad.... well see for yourself. I would have just said I was out of Bibb lettuce as opposed to serving a pile of shredded iceberg in its place. For whatever reason service was nice but the kitchen was a failure tonight.

Proper buffalo chicken wings!! Hard to find in Amsterdam.

I ate a Royale with Cheese and I must say it was an undercooked and soggy burger. Unfortunately it didn't taste well either. Everything else however was good. The fried chicken was phenomenal and the fries were good. If you go here make sure to order a plate of fried chicken. They really did some magic on those chickens. Mmh! The service was very good as well. Staff was polite and helpful. Since they're quite popular we had a long wait for our burgers as well so don't expect things to be that fast.

The food was really good! But service not so much. Even tho the waiter was very nice, kitchen mixed up all of our order. I was eating alone while my boyfriend was still waiting cause they forgot to prepare his order!

The food was great. Super tasty burger and super toast fries. The venue was pretty cool and I can see people enjoying it, but in my opinion it was a bit too dark and the music was a bit too loud. It was hard to have a conversation and I barely know what my food looked like. The staff was friendly and in good spirits, they really seemed to enjoy their job which is always fun to see, but unfortunately it felt like they forgot about us, the customers, at times.

Delicious food, we had burger on chips. Great sauces with it sooooo good. Good variety of beers and cocktails. And very important friendly staff.

How can you resist to roasted / smoked chicken ?... Quick service, delicious fries and secret sauces. It is advised to reserve before, it can quickly get crowded. Always ask for the Burger of the Month, they usually have really surprising recipes ( caviar, yoghurt sauce... )

There are two stars because my dog got water and because the (burnt) burger was not calculated for me. For the hefty prices, the food was really very poor and anything but high quality. My burger roll was rock hard and partially burned. You could not eat the bread. For the fries with cheese, chili and peanuts, the cheese was at the bottom of the aluminum bowl. I ordered a cyclist, I was a beer plus a whole lemonade, so a total of 6 / Radler calculated. me and my friend was sick all evening. Never again!

One of my favorite places in Amsterdam. Sometimes hard to find a table but the staff is friendly and helps. Only one thing to improve: the French fries.

I really like the food here, especially the fried chicken. Nice little restaurant, a bit dark but cosy. The only downside is the prices, even though i've been there a couple of times i'm still shocked the cheapest fries option (cheese fries) are 8,50!

Because the loaded frieze could not be ordered via home delivery, I collected the food. This is because the quality could not be guaranteed if the fries were delivered. A good sign I thought. Great burgers! The meat of our burgers was amazing and they also offer great sides. The beer selection is also pretty good.

I just ordered a burger and some fries and there was hair on my fries. So disgusting also the fries didn t taste fresh. It s very disappointing because normally the food is very fresh.

Couldn t have been more dissapointed.

First of all they gave us an outdated menu. Everything I wanted was on the menu but upon asking the server he said I m sorry this is the old menu we don t have that item . Why give me that menu in the first place?

Secondly I ordered the chicken, it was dry and tasted like a chicken you would get at an Indian place, not like a juicy tender rotisserie chicken one would expect.

Lastly, we ordered the big fries to share for 6 euro. We are them all and decided we wanted more fries, so we ordered another small portion. The small portion was the exact same size as the big portion, unacceptable. I told the waitress about this and instead of just taking a fries off the bill, she proceeded to bring us more fries. I appreciated the gesture but at this point we were already famished and didn t need more fries.

The disappointing thing is I used to come here a lot, and also the Neighbouring restaurant fier (which is now supposed mimic the feel of an American diner, but failing miserably) I won t be coming here anymore and will be telling my steady group of friends to not waste anymore money at this place. They fixed something that wasn t broken, big mistake.

By far the best burgers I've ever eaten. Had the Reuben special and their fried chicken burger (with added kimchi). Could not fault a single thing, will definitely be back for more.

Simple but good food, reasonable prices, nice interior and design and above all, very friendly (and not fake friendly) staff, I was glad to discover the "Bols Genever" and have dinner with such a warm atmosphere! Keep it on that way!

Following on from the previous review, I am surprised by a 33% price increase for the dishes (including half a chicken). Regardless of the price-quality ratio this has become crooked mi.i. to eat a burger on a bar stool, the hospitality has deteriorated drastically; cuddling staff that makes people wait quietly to provide a place, drinks or food. Apart from the hautaine attitude with which guests are served ... more the attitude that I would expect in an amstel hotel. Disillusion, I came here a year, half hair ago with my girlfriend or with friends ...
As far as I'm concerned, no longer recommended, a real pity.

Wanted to try the rotisserie chicken but never got the chance. After 1.5 hours we still hadn't been served despite everyone around us (who arrived after us) receiving their food. We apparently erred by ordering a starter--go figure. In response to our repeated pleas for our food, our server apologized and assured us "It's on the way." It wasn't, as the chickens continued to be served to others. After an hour and a half, we walked out for the first time ever. We like trying local hole-in-the-wall restaurants when we travel, but I don't recommend this disorganized, customer-unfriendly place. Many other options are available.

Delicious vegetarian beyond burgers and the rotisserie potatoes are recommended. Cozy sitting too.
