The History of Fidelitas Wines
Charlie Hoppes started his career in wine as an apprentice at Chateau Ste. Michelle in Woodinville, Washington. He then went on to work at several other wineries before starting his own label, Fidelis (which later became Fidelitas). In 2000, he purchased a vineyard on Red Mountain and began making wine under his new label.
Since then, Fidelitas has grown into one of the most respected wineries in Washington State. The winery produces a range of wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and more.

To achieve this goal, Charlie uses traditional techniques such as hand-sorting grapes and fermenting them with native yeasts. He also ages his wines in French oak barrels to add complexity and depth.
